A polite lady said that they had been on vacation and that she would leave a note for them to contact me asap. 6 weeks went by, nothing. Screw them. I went to NUVIA in Roseville and got it done. Reading the reviews, I see this is a pattern for this dental practice. I came in as a new patient for a routine cleaning since I've just moved to the area. I was really excited to establish care here since it's close to me. I also was happy to have a lady doctor. My insurance is kicking in on February 1 so I wasn't open to any extra services quite yet. I just wanted to establish care, get a good exam and above all, a cleaning! I had made my insurance situation clear when I made the appointment and again with the assisting staff. Also, I didn't actually need more X-rays as I have them from my previous dentist, but they insisted. After all that, the dentist gave me a hard sell on 4 quadrant deep cleaning and a new crown (which I did need), but not on that day ... I didn't want to pay out of pocket given my insurance would be kicking in soon. My dentist was visibly upset that I didn't sign the expensive out-of-pocket treatment plan on the spot. She then spent maybe 5 minutes cleaning my teeth. Terrible vibe and a waste of time as I have to now schedule an actual cleaning somewhere else. What a disappointment. I think the dentists must have a sales quota. I will be reporting them to the BBB, the city and various licensing associations.

I had to change insurance and check in with them a few times to make sure I was covered and after that scheduling has been smooth sailing. My teeth cleaning went well, the hygienist Debbie told me a lot about my mouth and teeth that no one ever mentioned to me. They then got me scheduled to fix a crack in one of my fillings the following week. That appointment also went well, it was the most comfortable dental work I've ever had done - I didn't feel a thing other than the novacaine injections which they even numbed beforehand. They have mentioned doing something like Invisalign due to my crowding which is something that has never been a concern of mine, I trust they're being honest since I have a little snaggletooth, never had braces and my teeth are indeed tight. Dr Steve gave me a rough estimate and run down of how their process works and it's probably something I'll return for when I have the funds since it will help my future self. They play HGTV in the lobby and most dental rooms which is a nice distraction! It's a big place for only two doctors.

He has a very happy, peppy staff. There is an unbelievable amount of loud laughter coming from the front desk. I cannot imagine what they are finding so funny. It would just help to have a better sound system or insulation against noise. I'll probably give it another try. Nice office for people who maybe are not so nervous about going to the dentist.

They are rude, condescending, and acted like it was our fault that one of our children needed dental work when we floss and brush twice a day and eat a healthy low sugar and no gluten diet. I do not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. Do NOT pay for anything and submit the claim later with this group, or just do not go to them!!

The nice thing about New Brighton Family Dentistry is that they offer a package for customers who don't have insurance, which I really appreciated. I think I saved an overall $200 dollars on my visit! During this visit the staff were amazing and so patient with me: the women to run the reception area, the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth, the radiologist who took X-rays, and finally, Dr. Grayson! During that visit they ended up fining a cavity and wrote me up a treatment plan with all costs included. This was great because it helped me to plan in advance for the procedures. Dr. Grayson was very gentle when administering the novacaine and drilling on my teeth! Another thing that I liked was how they use a tooth colored filling! In addition, I've always been interested in getting Invisalign, and Dr. Grayson was willing to sit down with me and talk about ALL of my concerns. Overall, I love this clinic. I think that the staff are hospitable, friendly, and most importantly, honest. All of their pricing is clear and they impose no pressure on their patients to proceed with a treatment. I'm about to start my Invisalign treatment under the guidance of Dr. Grayson. I am confident that it will be a smooth process and that we will have positive outcomes all together!
