Chet, the PA that saw me, was super professional and knowledgeable, and has a great name! :-) After feeling like I had a complete and useful visit, I looked at my watch and it was 35 minutes after my scheduled time! Note that on my last attempt to see an ENT (not here), it was more than 35 minutes before they even realized that I got tired of waiting and left. Oh, and very friendly staff in general. They made an emergency same-day appointment for me, which I appreciated! And my wait was not too long. Restrooms are not located outside the office by the elevators. No wifi is available in the waiting room and even 3G connection on AT&T was iffy. I was ushered to a room at around 9:05am. The physician did not arrive at my room until 9:28am. He spent 10 minutes doing his evaluation and procedure after which a nurse visited me to finish up. Brousse was a great doctor who cracked jokes but was serious enough as well. Overall he was very professonal. He seemed honest and forthright and gained my trust quickly. He answered my questions directly and was fairly efficient in the appointment. I chose Brousse at random out of the phone book and will certainly recommend him to others in the future. It has been a long time since I've been this confident in a physician so I hope the prescribed treatment works as expected. If you need an ENT in New Orleans, you won't go wrong with Brousse!

He performed a septo-rhinoplasty…read morethat was supposed to fix my deviated septum, improve my breathing, remove the hump from my bridge, and reduce the bulb at the tip of my nose. It's a year later (I was told it'd take that long for swelling to go down). The tip is the same as it was, except all of the nerve endings are dead, so there's no sensation there. My breathing is actually worse, he DID remove the hump from my bridge, but he basically moved it to the side of the bridge, so IDK what was going on there, and the septum is still very deviated. Unfortunately (or maybe very fortunately) I no longer live in NOLA, so I have no way of having him fix any of this without incurring greater expense. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone.

Dr. Alex Hoang is Vietnamese-American and fits the bill! I was refered to him because I went to high school with his partner's wife. The office opens early in the morning, they always fit me in whenever I get sick (which considering I now carry an Epi pen is quite often apparently! Jk) and they get back to me ASAP! The staff treats me with dignity and respect and are friendly! My yearly exam includes a heart ultrasound, EKG, breathing test. Etc. and they can do all of this in-house! They have laptops so that your records are now electronically stored. The prescriptions get printed out which is awesome! There are also two parking lots which is convenient. Plus the waiting room is comfy with leather couches, regular chairs, flat screen tvs, magazines , kid toys etc. I would recommend them to all my friends and family! Addendum: as I'm waiting as a walk in patient (my normal doc has the day off so going to see one of the other two docs) I noticed that the bus stop is right in front of the office which might help people who use the bus out here! I also forgot that there is a mini parking lot out front too. In the examining room area on the right hand side there is a larger bathroom with baby changer. I'll post pix later. On the left hand is the smaller bathroom with no baby changer.
