I used to think this was a good Community to live in. But the management shifted and now prices are going significantly higher all while they do nothing about the simple stuff like package theft in the buildings or people breaking into cars. This really did used to be a good apartment complex. I am saddened to have seen this community turn the way it has. This is one of those reviews I wish I didn't have to write. I've lived in this complex for nearly two years and genuinely thought it was a good place, until my car was towed under completely avoidable circumstances. I parked in a spot that wasn't clearly marked as reserved. The signage at the time was poorly placed and easy to miss. Within just 2.5 hours, my car was gone. No warning. No notice. I had to pay $439.77 out of pocket to retrieve it. When I contacted management and showed photos of the space, they admitted that they installed new signage after the tow. That alone says everything. If the signs had been clear before, they wouldn't have needed to update them. Even the tow truck driver told me that several other cars had been towed from that same spot recently. Still, the complex refused to offer a full refund. I tried to explain the impact that $440 has on me (it's more than a month of groceries), but I was met with a cold, canned response. It's incredibly disappointing to be treated this way by a place I trusted to be fair. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone who expects accountability or compassion when things go wrong. read more

I've lived here since April 2022. It was nice in the beginning - now, it's horrible. The entry door is SUPPOSE to be accessible by key fob only; however, people yank on the door and open it. NO SECURITY WHATSOEVER!!! Also, parents allow their children to run up and down the stairs, run the halls, run through the parking lot, use chalk on the sidewalk and on cars, and say NOTHING!!! I reported it to "management" and nothing has ever been done. Cars are broken in to, people smoke inside and right at the entrance. Packages are stolen and management does NOTHING! The pool is a joke! Never chairs available, the "lifeguards" are on their phone 96% of the time, it's ridiculous. All the while, paying $2000 for a 1 bedroom. The only nice thing I'm able to say is, Suzanne who works in the office is fantastic, a true dream. Otherwise, the management could careless. I would look somewhere different. read more

Creekstone Village puts on a great facade then sadly doesn't maintain any promises, safety, or quality of life for their residents. I moved in this past summer to the Designer Collection, hoping for a quiet, peaceful community at the price of over 2k for a 1 bedroom apartment. I have experienced multiple problems without any sort of resolution or help from management. They simply smile and tell you to call the police. Residents will smoke cigarettes and weed in the building - the entire building reeked of cigarettes for two weeks straight. Residents throw trash in the community hallways/elevators/stairs and vandalize their neighbors doors. Individuals will purposefully break the entry door ways, cover locks with tape, tamper with the seals to ensure that anyone can gain access to your building. There is no safety measure once entering the front/side/back doors to prevent intruders/non-residents from going wherever they want in the building. They do not have any security workers or cameras to reduce the chance of criminal activity. Drugs deals have been observed in the back of buildings near the playground park, especially during the night. I received my water bill one month, suggesting I owed 300$ and used over 10,000 gallons of water for a single individual who rarely does laundry/dishwater more than once a week. When speaking with management, they told me to reach out to the water company to resolve the issue myself. Upon speaking with the water company, I found out this was an err on managements side. After confronting them a second time, they finally agreed to reimburse me on my rent. On another note, I have spoke to many of the elderly individuals who live in our community and they do not feel safe with the doors being left open or broken. Individuals (adults might I add) were running up and down the hallways banging on doors and walls, disturbing residents during the night. During a routine maintenance check up, while I was at work, one of the maintenance workers left my door unlocked. So my entire apartment was available and accessible to anyone who decided to run or knock on my door. This is horrifying to know, especially since many of the neighbors are thieves. I had a 500$ package delivered to the mail room (picture evidence) at 11:07 am and got home from work at 2:50 pm to realize that someone (resident/non-resident) had stolen my package. Upon notifying management, they told me, "we are so sorry, there is nothing we can do. We don't have ANY cameras in any of the community spaces/entry ways/doors." They told me to take the lost and report stolen mail to the police. They did not offer to walk to my building and look for the package, reimburse me, or send an update to residents that someone is stealing packages. Not only has this happened to me, but over 20 residents that I have personally spoken to after this incident have reported stolen/lost packages that were delivered to the mail room. Upon reaching out to the police and filing a report, they confirmed that MULTIPLE calls/reports have been made in this community and the fact there are no cameras in community areas is cause for concern. Unfortunately, since Creekstone Village is a private property, police are unable to patrol the area and keep a watchful eye on any potential harm. I have included pictures of the tampered doors. I will be contacting a lawyer regarding the concerning nature of management not caring or respecting the safety of their high paying residents. I have lived in a variety of apartments/town homes and I have never experience such disrespect and balatant disregard for the integrity of the community. I LOVED my apartment complex upon moving in but the initial appeal and lack of trust from management has really turned this into a negative experience. Save yourself the money and headache before you move into this slowly deteriorating community. read more

Living here is exhausting. I'm writing this review because after months of having packages ripped open and stolen from the mail room, I've had enough. This has been brought to the attention of the leasing office staff a dozen times and they continue to not do anything to stop theft. The staff here just doesn't care about their residents. Plain and simple. Also, amenities are not maintained. Fire places and grills never work, computers never have working keyboards or mice. During the first weekend of the pool being open this season, my wife was told "there may be stuff floating around in the pool" because the pool manager didn't vacuum it properly. You had months to plan for this. Aside from the inside of the apartments being nice, I do not recommend anybody move in here. You will be severely disappointed with your time here. read more

Started off great, but got worse every year. The buildings look great, but once you have lived here for a bit you will see that they were rushed and poorly built. The building would constantly "settle" and shake. Management seemed to get worse every year, although Casey was a bright spot (and probably should have been running the place). As other posters mentioned, the schools are terrible and the cockroach infestation is spot on...our apt/building is infested with thousands of cockroaches. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable with how much the rent costs. The pool and fitness centers were nice, but the issue is that Murn Management only cares about jamming as many poorly-built, cookie-cutter town homes into as much space as they can get. It's too much development, and the complex became really overcrowded. Dogs poop all over the grass/sidewalks, despite there being a dog park (and people that did not live here would use it), and it frequently smelled like marijuana outside and inside the buildings. Bottom line - nice amenities but poor management and over-development have really brought down the quality. Not worth it for the price. read more

Don't expect an email back or any concern from the property manager Ursula Blount, even if it's about packages being stolen in your building, or if you injured yourself falling through the poorly kept furniture at the pool, or if your car has been broken into. These are all things that should have been DIRECTLY responded to and handled accordingly after paying close to $2,000 a month. Creekstone was a great place to live before Murn Management took over. They made the apartments section 8, which brought in a lot of shady activity. Cars getting broken into, drug deals happening right outside of my building and people throwing parties that pee off of their balcony onto yours. This place is NOT the luxury community it once was and it is NOT safe for families. The landscaping is atrocious. Weeds and dead sod/grass everywhere. They claim there is a "wildlife restoration" by the park (which was beautiful flowers with Bozzuto) which is now just a mess of weeds and brush. Get used to finding pet waste left everywhere too. They do not take care of the facilities and the pool furniture is all ripped and destroyed because they never replaced them from the first year it was built by Bozzuto. I know this because I lived here then, making the furniture 7 years old. The chairs by the fire pits are disgusting. And if you mention any concerns to Ursula, she'll ignore you and pretend your issues are not important and that they don't exist. read more

I want to start off by saying I've lived in this complex two different times, and left both times because of how bad management is - regardless of who owned the property. Living in this apartment started off great... Until about 6 months in. The tenants in the building often let their pets urinate in the elevator, leaving it there for hours so the cleaners would clean it up. The smell in the lobby was disgusting as a result. Despite numerous emails from management, tenants also rarely picked up after their dogs outside, so if you weren't watching your step, I can promise you that you'd be stepping in it. We let the property managers know and never received a solution. Speaking of contacting property managers, HA! Forget about it. Your best bet is to go and wait in person for them to show up, rather than leaving endless voicemails and emails. Thank goodness we had an email thread with Raven, because when we turned in our keys, she was confused and didn't even have the proper paperwork filled out for the lease termination. We had to keep reminding her of conversations we had via email thread and phone conversation. The one good thing about this place was Kasey - our saving grace. She deserves to be the property manager, as she's pulling the weight of the entire management team (Ursula Blount and Raven Lee). Most of the time, when calling the office to try to get this resolved, I was speaking with Kasey instead of Raven. Needless to say, look elsewhere. They tout luxury apartments for an inflated price, when you can go across the street and get better customer service, response times, and tenants. read more

Just came back from 10 days in Cancun to find our apartment infested with thousands of roaches. Prior to leaving, we made sure the apartment was fully vacuumed, trash removed, and surfaces cleaned so we could return to a clean apartment. The roach infestation is completely unacceptable when you pay this much for a luxury apartment. My wife and I have no joke spent 6 hours killing at least 200+ roaches. We called in to get this issue resolved and the Creekstone management we spoke with down played the issue and said the pest people will come in 8 days. She didn't call the pest guy and they said 8 days, she just said the pest guy comes to all apartments in 8 days. I guess roaches infesting the apartment isn't a priority here. We will definitely not renew our lease! read more

So far, Creekstone Village has been an awesome complex! The office staff have been nothing but awesome! Kate, Melanie, and Veronica are great. Any questions or concerns we have had are always answered in an extremely timely matter. The property is well maintained, and we love our apartment! If I could give this place negative stars I would. Multiple times throughout living here locks would be broken, mail and packaged were stolen and people would let their animals use the elevator as a bathroom. My fiancé's truck was hit by someone in the parking lot and never reported to us. Our actual apartment was great for the first month then things stopped working, outlets had covers falling off and went dead, we also had incredibly loud neighbors. The office lost our letter stating we were to move out and proceed to charge us as if it was never turned in. The office is run by a handful of women with their associates degree at the absolute most and are beyond incompetent. I'd recommend living anywhere but here!!! read more

I lived here for a year and I have to say it was a decent experience. The office staff was very friendly and usually took care of any matters promptly. The only down falls of this place is the location. Our cars were broken in to more than once and the school district is something to be researched before you move here. It was also tough to find parking in the parking lot at night when I would come home from work and they had just started building new apartments before I left, which could make it much worse. They also treat the swimming pool like it is a high security government building, the life guard girl was very unpleasant the few times I interacted with her. Overall it is a decent place to live if you don't have young children. read more

Love living here! From the easy to use website that allowed my boyfriend and I to book a tour all the way through now finishing up a great summer, we have had a wonderful experience. The grounds are clean and well kept and the staff is friendly and always willing to help with our concerns and questions. This was my boyfriends and my first place together- Melanie and the team were very patient with us when we got started back in late January. I feel kind of spoiled with how nice our 2 bedroom loft style apartment is and all the bonus features that the clubhouse offers and the valet trash service too. I would reccommend Creekstone and its staff to anyone who is looking for not only an affordable place to live, but who also appreciates all the small things they do to make you feel completely at home read more

First I will say that we were excited to make Creekstone Village our home as newly weds last year, signed a 16 month lease and yes overpriced almost $2000 a month in rent for a 2 bed 2 bath, the water bill is always outrageous and added on to your monthly rent and the valet trash fee of $25 is not worth the extra mandated charge, we have been nothing but disappointed in this place!!!! The structure and complex is nice however the leasing office management is absolutely horrible, disrespectful, one sided and rude with the exception of Casey and Shanice who work the front desks, they are both amazing and respectful and we love them. The office manager and assistant office manager talk down to you and do not return phone calls which is completely unacceptable , I called 5 times to discuss issues and wrote multiple emails and never got at response how is this professional??? They will not work with you if you get sick or have a set back I hope that never happens to one of them, they threaten you and are rude. My husband and I are both professionals and we know how to speak to people and treat others but they clearly do not. Most places the lease is up the first of the month actually everywhere we have lived prior .....we are not renewing here however they informed us our lease was not up until the 4th and are not willing to let us out 4 days early when we provided adequate notice, that should not be an issue its only 4 days and the reason is health issues, they told my husband one thing and me another. This place is over priced and the rent increase is ridiculous, they allow marijuana to be smoked in the building causing a strong skunk odor in the surrounding apartments and I have asthma and allergies and was forced out of my home to move in with family and nothing was done about this. The maintenance staff I will say is very responsive and excellent which is the only reason I have left 1 star, Jason is the best and knows how to explain things and ask prior to coming in your home. I will say that back In may contractors had to come with minimal notice and work in our closet for another units air conditioning requiring us to completely empty the closet ( not Jason's fault) and since I work nights I was forced to stay with family or not sleep which was a major inconvenience, then the contractors damaged our bathroom, cracked the granite, got paint and drive wall on my new shower curtain and rugs from bed bath and beyond and left the place a mess and the leasing office did nothing about this which was very disappointing. Save yourself the trouble and go live some where else where you will be given the respect you deserve . We also called MURN management countless times to voice concerns and have never received a return call which is unacceptable so we have filed complaints with the better business bureau over multiple issues. Make sure you do the move in and out inspection WITH them. Do not move out without doing that. Worst mistake I made. Also, be aware they charge you for the life of the carpet. I cannot find any documents that tell you they charge for the life of the carpet! I was there for a year and was charged around $580 for he carpet to be replaced because "they weren't able to get it out with their machines." I didn't expect this from Bozzuto. Very disappointed. I moved into Creekstone last year and just moved out this past weekend. I enjoyed my time at Creekstone mainly because of the help, support and concern of Kate and Melanie! They were absolutely amazing and so very helpful from move in to move out. Any concerns I had were addressed and solved 100%. (I wish I could take them with me to My new complex!) I have a dog with bad anxiety and a seizure disorder, so they always were sure to tell me when maintenance needed to come into the apartment and how my dog did when they left! The apartment homes are quality build and very well insulated! I enjoy Bozzuto so much that I moved into another Bozzuto community near my job. I think because of the price when they first start leasing, it was super affordable, so there were some questionable people living in the buildings around me and that is the only reason why I gave a 4. Amenities are awesome, especially the dog park! read more

Not even close to being luxury as they market. Carpet is cheap and buildings were poorly made and maintained. If your not on the top floor you hear everything from above. The staff wants nothing to do with you once your lease is signed. They will charge you crazy fees and file with the court if you are day late. All fees are a la cart and you have no choice and are forced to pay. Double check the school ratings, extremely sub par and do not score well at greatschools.org for those that have children, beware. If Kate is rude to you it's normal and acceptable to Bozzuto based on the feed back I have gotten from fellow residents. Also note a homocide or suicide occurred in one of the buildings in the back. read more

It is said that you never get a second chance to make a first impression, and competition is on every corner. I came to the Creekstone Village Community to view an apartment, as my current lease expires in a month. The community has a long entrance so I wasn't quite sure where to go. I found the leasing office and entered the building and was immediately struck by how beautiful the foyer and great room are. I stood in the foyer for just under a minute and looked around, unlike the other 5 properties I visited earlier in the day, no one acknowledged me right away. I approached a room to the left and saw a young lady sitting at a desk and she appeared to be labeling boxes that had come in from UPS. As I approached her desk she said, "Hi how can I help you"? I stated that, "I would like to see an apartment". Still writing on the boxes and not giving me direct eye contact she stated, "Huh, Mam we close at 5!". I admit I was stunned by the amount of attitude that she gave off when she said it. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't misinterpreting her attitude. But she confirmed it for me when she followed up with "Well, did you know that we closed at 5?" It wasn't so much what she said, but it was the condescending way that she said it. I know that I arrived just before 5 and would have gladly come back during business hours on another day. I only stopped in because I was in the area. As I turned to leave I did not want to waste a trip so I asked if I could get brochures for a one and two bedroom. She did not offer the brochures to me. Her cold attitude warmed up just slightly, and I waited for her to put together the brochure packet. As she was putting the information together, I reflected on her attitude and my experience at Creekstone Village and thought this would likely be the same attitude I would be met with if I lived here had a plumbing or any other type of emergency in my apartment home. .A community can provide all of the opulence in the world, but attitude is indeed everything. I left the community feeling disappointed, not because I couldn't see the apartment but because I initially had enough interest to come and see their community. After my experience, it is very unlikely that I would come back to tour, or lease an apartment here. read more

My roommate and I moved here in May 2015-May 2016 into a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. We can honestly say we've had the greatest experience this past year while living here. The girls working in the main office are extremely friendly, remember our names, my dogs name and exactly what apartment we live in. They are really helpful and knowledgeable. The maintenance staff is always friendly and timely and has always addressed any small concern we have had which has been rare through out the year. The apartment we have rented is very large, tall ceilings, tall windows, and the kitchen has been spectacular with brand new stainless steel appliances. We are on the ground floor which has been a blessing considering I have a dog and running her in and out to the dog park a few yards away has been convenient. The apartment complex is very dog friendly and the other residents have been great, I think my dog may have enjoyed living here more than we did. The only thing I can say which is why I didn't give it a full 5/5 stars is the recent construction has been really busy lately, it isn't loud surprisingly, but the truck traffic can be hectic. Also, trying to turn left out of the apartment complex onto Jumper's Hole Rd is a nightmare, I use the back entrance behind Weis to avoid any traffic or else accidents it's not the best of an intersection. The last thing which isn't the apartment complex fault is some rowdy neighbors that have moved in above me and next to me (not sure if they have a rambunctious dog or busy kids) but we can often hear them in the evenings moving around. Parking after 6pm can get tricky but I honestly have never been with out parking. I missed the massive snow storm we had here over the winter as I was out of the country, but my roommate said that plowing the parking lot seemed difficult and she had to dig her way out through the side walks. However, through out the winter with smaller amounts of snow the maintenance staff was quick to shovel the sidewalks and plow the parking lot and I never had any trouble getting out and off to work at 5am. Overall, great location, great community, friendly staff, definitely recommend living here if you work in Baltimore, Ft Meade, or Annapolis area easy access to major roads with out feeling like you're living on the highway. read more
