I lived here for almost eight years and my husband for almost seven. The apartments were in a good…read morelocation. I liked the size of the two bedroom apartment. I liked having a garage and the washer/dryer hook up. I liked the play area for the kids by the clubhouse. Most of our neighbors were also good. The maintenance men that we had were also nice. However, there were some things that I did not like. The apartments were old and in need of repair. They only ever had one maintenance person at a time and they probably could have used more, so that might be part of the reason for poorly maintained apartments. Most apartments needed new carpet and flooring and most of the appliances were original as of about forty years ago, so many did not work well and some did not work at all. As a safety issue, there were many of the wooden porches that had large cracks in them and were structurally unsound. The management here was less than ideal. The upper management may have thought they were being respectful to us, but often the tone of voice that received from them was short tempered instead. For anyone thinking of moving here, don't count on getting your deposit back. There is a carpet cleaning fee and a professional cleaning fee charge in addition to being charged for things that might actually need repaired or are broken. Overall, 3 out of 5. Good location. Good size. Good neighbors; but old apartments that need repair. Less than ideal management.

Doug the Maintenance man tried to do proper maintenance but had to run all purchases threw Shelly in Pocatello before he could replace anything, now When she is around Shelly belittles and pushes the tenants out with the help of her new Maintenance man when they feel like being around. He looks in open windows and makes people uncomfortable when dealing with him. Both claim to be doing so at the owners request as we are paying really low rent for the area.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. The manager is really unprofessional he will lie to you and…read morecharge you for stuff that he should not have. When we moved in both my kids bedrooms screens were broken. We gave him 2 work orders and I had talk to him a few time. I told the maintenance guy when they did the 6 month inspection. Were they ever fixed?? NOPE. During the summer our apartment would reach temperatures between 85 to 95゚. My kids couldn't even sleep in their rooms because the windows could not be opened so they would sleep in the living room on the couch. The day they did the inspection after we moved out the manager had told me he has never seen an apartment left so clean but yet he charged us $40 for cleaning. And he also put on the bill (apartment is cleaned very well). He is also trying to charge us $50 for several small holes from having family pictures up. The day we moved in I asked him if we could hang up pictures and he said yes and that holes from pictures are normal wear and tear. He is now advertising the apartment for less than what we were paying so I feel like he just charges people whatever he feels like. Maybe it's less because it is such a crapy apartment and they are having people moving out because they're tired of putting up with his crap. During the Winter it is very hard to keep that apartment warm. The closet in the dining room are not insulated so you have Cold air coming through the door. You could keep refrigerated stuff in that closet and it would not go bad. The apartment walls are also paper thin so you can hear everything. I have left several message is on the 800 number for the company that owns the apartments and I have not received any calls back. That shows you that these people do not care about their residents they just care about the money that they make. There was a resident that had bed bugs and the company that came to clean her place had told the manager that they highly recommend spraying the apartments surrounding hers. I know because the company told me about it. They told me that the manager told them that they will not pay for any apartments to be sprayed unless there is another outbreak of bed bugs. Oh and to top it all off the manager will have the lights off in the office and locks his door during business hrs If you need to talk to him you have to knock on the door. I could go on about how terrible this place is but I do not want to write a book. Lmao

When I first heard of this place it was an ad on craigslist.com. It said how it was a subsidized…read morehousing and they listed a long list of amenities. A friend and I went to go put in an application. The entire time we commented on how we couldn't believe something so nice was subsidized housing. The manager laughed and chatted and never once denied it was. They told me my rent would be $150. It really sounded to good to be true. I couldn't believe how lucky I was. A month later they said I could move in. They would not let me see or know any information on my lease until the move in day which looking back should have been a red flag. On the move in day I was told I had to go through and sign the entire lease before they would hand me the keys so the movers could start unloading the truck. They had me backed into a corner. As I sat in the office going over the lease for the first time I was extremely disappointed. They said that I have to pay $270 and another $80 for utilities. $350 total. They also said they are "affordable housing" not subsidized. So the ad on craigslist.com and the times my friend and I went to the office that all said it was subsidized were a lie apparently. The "state of the art gym" has three weight lifting machines and that's it. I make $730 a month. That's it. I had to sign a year lease. So with $350 for rent and the surprise utilities + $160 or more average for gas + $175 or more average for power + $20 for laundry + $85 for internet and phone since its impossible to survive in today's world without them + $100 for other monthly expenses I have to pay a grand total of $890. That does not include my credit card bill for the card i had to open to be able to afford the move, If I have an emergency of ANY kind, If I need cleaning supplies, toiletries, food or anything else. My power and gas bills could cost more as well. If I cant find a way to come up with $200 per month I get evicted so I'm homeless. On the lease it is stated I cant have a job or substantial increase in income for 60 days or I get evicted. Because they lied and withheld information I'm going to be homeless in November. The apartments are nice but do not let them fool you too. They are NOT subsidized. As far as"affordable housing act" they are by no means affordable to those with a low income. Unless you make at very least $1,000 a month DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Please do not listen to any of the previous reviews because being from California, these apartments…read moreare no where near California prices. Overall the apartment has been great and the location could not be better. Great restaurants and retail are only a walk away and many great places to walk around. We just moved into the Talus and it is a perfect apartment for two people. Everything is in great condition and there is so much storage. The amenities are fantastic. We love the pool and the gym and can't wait to use the clubhouse in the future. Also, the staff is very friendly and responsive with any questions you may have and will alert you promptly if there is something missing and give you more than enough time to fix it. Honestly I don't understand the past reviews, this place is one of the nicest apartments I've seen in general for the price.

If I could give negative stars I would!!!!! This place lies through their teeth about everything,…read moreso be careful. They are high priced apartments and cheaply made. I DO NOT recommend this place for anyone. You're paying California prices for cheap material and bad customer service. I have had others friends visit the property, they didn't sign a lease or anything however got a bill from the Falls to pay a deposit and rent!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Even though it's 2021 and the inflation in high, they are trying to weed out people and bring in the rich, because they know they can afford it. You're better off living in a one bedroom shack than dealing with the headache of these people and the owners. It's a rip off!! All I would say is if, you're not Mormon... good luck!!!!

After a year they…read morejacked up the price $80/mo AND now I have to pay all utilities and for parking (not covered parking or a garage, just to park in an unassigned spot in the parking lot). I filled out the paperwork and called multiple times about issues that needed fixing in the apartment and about the laundry area that was leaking water for months. 1 of the 2 washers didn't work and still hadn't been replaced months later (still wasn't when I moved out) and a dryer that never dried on the first time (regular sized load), and the other dryer left black marks on clothing. After I gave my notice, well in advance, and paid my last months rent and utilities a month and a half ahead of time, I still haven't seen my security deposit. It's been over 2 months now. They actually sent me a bill with 2 different places on it for utilities, both with different amounts, 2 different amounts of rent and charging my for painting, cleaning of carpets and apartment cleaning! I had already paid the utilities and rent ahead of time and left the apartment in the same shape it was when I first rented it. Every time I call, it goes to voicemail. But if I call from a different number, they answer. The property is now managed by Cornerstone Residential, but good luck trying to get a hold of them! If you go to their website https://www.cornerstoneresidentialmgt.com/properties_state.asp?state=ID you certainly won't get pictures of the actual apartments and or pricing.
