He is really passionate about drama and high performance. Since he is a full-time Elementary school teacher, he really knows how to get the best out of these kids. Drama improves a child's self-confidence in public speaking and provides a great platform for team work. After every performance we are totally awed by the enthusiasm and perfection of the whole team. The only negative I would say is that we are spoilt with TVYPA and would have a tough time doing drama with any other company.

He is fun, knowledgeable, supportive and makes you feel comfortable. The class is very inclusive and supportive and your learn how to support your classmates and make each other look good. You will start every class with some fun warm-up games and then you dive deeper in scenes and Improv games. At the end of the session (usually around 10 classes) you will have a showcase, which is a great experience. Improv is not only fun, but teaches you skills you can use in your daily life. We enjoyed the Royals' Spectacular show at the Alameda County Fair this past weekend. The bleachers…read morewere set up in the sun, so we found a spot under a tree for some much needed shade on a hot day. The performers put on a great display of acrobatic skill while engaging in trapeze acts, swinging up high and flipping in the air, solo and in pairs, balancing on a tall tower of chairs, Edgar juggling blocks, and Mia, an east bay local, doing an aerial dance on a rope. The various trapeze artists and entertainers did their thing to an upbeat track of rock tunes and the like. There weren't any unique acts we haven't seen before, having attended plenty of circuses, but for a 30-minute slot, performing several times a day at this fair, they did a pretty good job showcasing their talents and gaining cheers from the crowd. We had a good time.
