From our first phone call, Jon was genuine, understanding and available for questions. He provided a unique template and timeline for us to use that was super helpful in the planning process. He knew exactly how the night should have progressed and was adaptable to any changes. Jon arrived on time and was polished for the evening. He was very professional, detailed and organized which made our lives so easy. Jon took every step of the planning process seriously and we can't thank him enough for making an incredible night even more amazing. He was an outstanding MC and the music was exactly what we wanted. Jon knew how to survey the dance floor and our guests to keep everyone on their feet. I picked up a LivingSocial voucher for Dacy Nottingham Photography as he was local to my area and…read morewilling to drive to my home for a foto shoot of my girls. I recently had some issues that prevented me from using the voucher before it expired but Dacy was very patient and accommodating at scheduling the shoot past its expiration date and still honoring the full value of the voucher. My girls (4 and 1.5) were the subjects of the photo shoot and he was very patient with them as shooting little kids can be a bit touch and go. He got some really great informal candid shots of them that were very sweet and he was very accommodating in Photoshopping some background junk out of some fotos for a minimal charge. The pictures ordered and produced are of good quality and promptly delivered. Arriving in time for Fathers Day - the grandparents, god fathers and uncles who received them love them. They were a surprise Fathers Day gift for their father who enjoyed them as well. I am very happy to recommend Dacy for other families and event photography.

Fast forward to a few years down the road.. My cousin couldn't find the info for his videographer when I was finally planning my own wedding. I was so bummed! Some friends, family and I went to the Pala Casino bridal expo. I told my Mom I really wanted to find a great videographer like the one my cousin Brian had. I passed a few videography booths that I just didn't care for. Finally, I turned the corner and out of all videos, Dacy was playing my cousin Brian's wedding video at his booth. I was beyond excited! I knew I needed him for our wedding. It was meant to be. I booked Dacy that day and have no regrets whatsoever. Our video came back and is more gorgeous than I even expected. I cried watching it. DJ Ernie M is a life saver!…read more I planned my high school reunion and had a DJ lined up and they ended up canceling a week before the event(that's a whole nother story) The only good thing that came out of this was DJ ERNIE M! He filled in last minute and I was scared and cynical at first because I had never talked to him or knew anything about him. He called me and assured me everything was going to work out and he made me feel better about hiring someone on such short notice. All I knew was I needed someone quick, someone affordable and talented and he definitely exceeded my expectations!!! He was easy to communicate with and puts his clients first and cares about what music you want to hear and arrived on time to the event and set up and provided lighting, and a mic if needed. Something I really care about is integrity and realness especially when working with people you do not necessarily know what to expect from and DJ Ernie is honest and his customer service is beyond amazing! He has been DJing for over 10 years and his wife(who is a complete sweetheart!) is also starting up her photography business so I think they are starting a combined company soon with all the works! I 90% planned my brother's wedding 2 years ago and man we had a lot of regrets, especially our DJ back then. So for my wedding, I was very particular about who I hired for our bicultural event. Michael was excellent!\ He arrived on time and set up seamlessly. The lights were a lovely addition as well as the photo booth that everyone loved. He played the requested songs for the ceremony and event started the music early as our guests arrived 30 min early! He played my perfectuly curated cocktail hour music and a few extra from the genre requested and did a great job of blending our grand entry song with our first dance (from Pitbull/Shakira to a slow song is not easy). The rest of the night was a joy with a perfect mix of Persian music (note, Michael does not speak Persian so I gave him a list of songs that he confirmed to have and we went off of that) and American fun music that we loved. We provided him with the list of persian songs, specific songs for specific dances, and our spotify wedding list to reference for antyhing additional and he did such an amazing job. It is not easy playing music from a culture you're not familiar with and we felt so lucky that Michael just knew what to do. All of our guests enjoyed the music and we had a fantastic night. He did a great job MCing as well and even learned a few words in Farsi (Persian) to pronounce for distinct parts of the wedding. I cannot recommend him enough. The one thing I will say is getting a hold of him before the wedding can take a little time; we set up a few meetings and I recommend doing this to communicate what you want and discuss all components- he provides A LOT of services in his package so if you have a vision, walk him through exactly what you want and he will execute it.

Chuck arrived an hour and a half early to get set up in our driveway and his equipment is top-of-line. Chuck is well versed in all styles of music and the selections he added to our suggested play-list were perfect. He clearly knows what he's doing and he should. He's been doing this for 27 years. He can be as vocal or held back as you want him to be, but whenever he made an announcement or a dedication Chuck was obviously a professional. Venuelust did not do their diligence and did not compensate us for this loss; we received a refunded deposit and a "good luck." No effort was made to find us a replacement. We had booked all of our other vendors and made several visits to the venue, and had to completely start from scratch with most venues in the area already fully committed.
