Tried email to get simple answer on number of units allowed to lease in subdivision of 66 townhomes. I was told limit is only 6-7. Have no idea of current number leased. creative management strikes again and again. they want your name but they do not promptly respond to issues like bats caused by poor building maintenance, water leaks, stucco issues that have been there for years, etc at the barkwood square condos. The same water leak from last week that was not fixed correctly busted again. You know, the one where the property management company sent out the cryptic message to emails not really stating that it was fixed. This property management company only collects the 692$ a month from the 2 bedroom condo owners for what? I am not sure. read more

I have weeds taking over my yard for the past two months and a depression at the side of my home as a result of a drainage ditch which is the responsibility of the HOA. I have written to and spoken to several individuals who promised to take care of the issues and the problem still exists. I am no longer sure what other actions I can take at this time because the if you stop payments to the HOA they will put a lien on your home. However they are clearly not taking care of their responsibilities. I am frustrated and am not sure what remedies are available to me. Can anyone assist with next step actions here? read more

Creative Management has one phone number which you must call several times to leave a message on each individual extension. No one's outgoing message states that you can get a same day call-back. The staff seems to rotate out the door quite frequently as it appears, no names listed remain there very long. COVID is over people. Get back to the office and work like the rest of us in property management! I have been going to the office to work each day since June of 2020. Had to leave another response on them as our town himes our still with these quacks and I still cant figure out why even though we removed our president who was abusing her power but now we have this Hellen from this company who is no better who if you report a problem not only will she never return your calls or visit the site of the problem but she will ignore the problem totally and say it does not exsist but not only this they have taken to poisoning my garden plants and not just one but all. Creative Management and Property Manager Helen Kelley have been " managing" the condominium community where I reside for the past eleven years. I use the word "managing" lightly because "mismanagement" accurately describes the numerous failures on the part of Creative Management. The City of St. Petersburg Code Compliance Division recently cited the the condo community for nine infractions pertaining to the appearance and deficiencies plaguing the property. Helen Kelley simply does not take care of the property and displays a personality of indifference and non-caring. Helen Kelley does not partake of her responsibilities as described in her contract and advertisement brochure. Kelley does not walk and inspect the property on a monthly basis, does not respond to emails, and does not answer the phone. Her negligence has led to property deterioration. Kelley rewards herself with a 5% annual salary upgrade, but she will not participate in an annual review to determine as to whether or not she deserves a raise. Creative Management does not upgrade the company portal with new documents as they become available. Helen Kelley allowed the Wind Mitigation form to expire in 2022. A resident caught the error. Kelley allows a Board Member to literally run the property and bully the residents without appraisal. No custodial service is available. No cleaning of any kind is performed, thus leading to a filthy bathroom, filthy laundry room, and a filthy pool deck. Mold accumulation is rampant. Kelley does not evaluate a vendor's performance on the property if and when work is done. Board of Directors meetings are scheduled haphazardly, and residents are not notified if a meeting is cancelled. I cannot recommend Creative Management on any level. Zero Stars!!1 read more

I can't even give it a star. Abuse of power, one sided views and total disregard for home owners rights. Total neglect in civil duties. Complaints go unhandled and calls never returned. Management making risky business decisions. If you go with them back up all call and documents because you will need it to prove in court when that time comes. read more

Not worth a star. No people skills; very rude. They side with the HOA Board and bring the Board's attorney (who is paid by homeowners' dues) to meetings where the attorney then basically runs the meeting. He's rude too - told homeowners they could ask all the questions they wanted, but he did not have to answer. They had police present at last two meetings in the Oaks of River Ridge, and at Jody's request, police removed homeowners who were "disgruntled" from one of the meetings. read more

If I could give a NEGATIVE STAR review, I would. Houses that look like Sanford and Sons, or the many houses with the 3 cars in driveways and nothing in the garage, their blocking the sidewalks(which is illegal) are less of a concern than a air conditioning unit with a privacy fence in front of it, that was installed 20 years that is visible from the street. Obviously there for 20 years- built with the house, AND only now it is an issue. Do something about things that really matter- like the sidewalks crumbling or trash around the lakes or handicap parking, or the upgrades to the roads that are needed or the broken entry gate, the list could go forever.........seriously- get real. read more

This is the worst property management company i have ever dealt with. Recently, I received an evelope from them with a payment book and a sheet with questions and answers that did not address my questions. It is poorly written and has no letter that informs you of when the decision to make changes was made and who made it. It gives you a phone number to call but you only get a recording that says look at your payment book which does not answer the questions. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a person to talk to you. That is not the way to do business. read more

Having dealt with this company for many years as a independent property manager for an out-of-state owner, I have generally been pleased with their customer service. That's probably, in part, because I understand that they don't have unlimited power to do whatever any homeowner or resident wants. Rather they are accountable to carry out the rules set forth by the homeowners association that hired them, which is frankly what keeps the property nice. Most recently, in the course of assisting my client owner and her incoming tenant with their paperwork for the Rental application, I dealt with Susan Spring, who was absolutely wonderful! She was timely in returning my calls, thorough in her explanations of some of the forms, which were a little confusing, and very quick to investigate and respond to a concern I had expressed about parking. Wish I could give them a negative star rating. This company is HORRIBLE! They don't care about the owners, they don't listen to complaints, they don't fix problems until they either because out of hand or become a law suit waiting to happen, etc... And the problems that become out of hand can now not be fixed because the cost to fix it is more than you have in reserves, IF you even have a reserve. It takes multiple emails and calls before you receive a rude response back. Don't waste your hard-earned money hiring this company. As a former owner and board member of Bay Villas condos, the best thing that came out of selling my condo is the fact that I will NEVER have to deal with this incompetent and unprofessional management company again! I sent Helen Kelley an email on January 2 regarding a question on how to cancel my auto debit since my condo was sold. I never once received a courteous reply, redirection, or whom to contact from her!!! Very RUDE and unprofessional!!! I have never received such poor customer service from any management company and have always received a reply within hours at the latest from all of my other HOA management companies. I am shocked that someone could treat someone so poorly when it is their job to help the property owners. There were other issues as well and they made many mistakes when I was a board member. She is not someone I would trust or choose for managing any of my property investments ever. When I notified the Hoa company that I was selling, she told the other board members. I was then bombarded with unprofessional and insulting offers. When I complained about the invasion of my privacy and condo sale, Hellen was very defensive and stated that it was board knowledge. I did not feel she protected me as a homeowner. I am also on the board of a home in California and the board is not notified until the home sale is closed. Bottom line.....do your research and find another management company who will respect you, your privacy, and your property! ***they never called me regarding the auto debit, I had to call them!! Creative Management, what can I tell you from personal experience. They do not take very kindly when you suggest that they use a bid process (typical accept 3 or more bids for consideration as done everyday by most corporations) Was told at a board meeting that we were getting water meters on the homes and contracted company was footing the bill of meter installation in order to secure the business, then receive a letter in the mail stating that the reduction in HOA fees would not occur until we have paid the $33,000.00 to have the meters installed. I am also showing in arrears for my HOA dues. I have proof that the funds were delivered to their collection vendor, I have e-mails that I sent to them regarding the payment. After spending a weeks worth of my time, I have discovered that the check was signed for 2 weeks after the overnight delivery it was originally sent on, then in turn returned to my bank as "couldn't be connected to an account" even though the information on the check matched all info from the payment book. Of course all this went on as I was coming and going of and on Active Duty as a reservist. I can only attribute this to one of two things I am either dealing with a very incompetent group of businesses, or I am dealing with a very underhanded and vindictive management company. I have mentioned many times in the board meetings that I have attended that they need to follow the law and cover the HOA from legal repercussions by sending notifications via certified mail requiring signature. They just took action against me with no notification, and just like them they did it while I was on orders and away from home. In fact I am checking with the JAG right now to see if this kind of behavior towards a service member can possibly be a violation of the Patriot Act, or violates the ESGR laws. I have more than once mentioned in meetings that they should offer us a routing and account number to directly electronically transfer our money for dues since the vendors always seem to post them after the due dates. I was told that is what withdraw enrollment was for. I am so glad I never went that route with them after reading the other yelp reviews. However I am now going to spend my spare time on my deployment drafting possible legislation to submit to my state representatives to get a tighter grip on the so called management companies doing business in the state of Florida. so I guess something good will come out of dealing with this company after all. I hope any properties out their read these yelps from myself and others and avoid the possible nightmares you could be facing, some of them could end up being entwined with this company in court. read more
