I'm giving a four star only because I think this event would have been pretty awesome if not for the rain. Also, in hopes that the event becomes some sort of annual thing and we get to experience it without said rain next year. So update later on, maybe?
As far as events go, they were very organized despite what they were given, and didn't cancel. A lot of vendors simply didn't show up, which I understand. There actually was barely anyone there. Along with that within an hour of hanging out, my feet were soaked as there were just small streams of rushing water flowing through some of the tents.
I think the staff handled it well though. They were always asking if we needed any help or just trying to the best of their ability to keep the ship steady. No grouchy peeps for such a bad hand of cards. The event itself was really short though, and I'd been curious to see it in its full form.
I will mention, never buy nachos from a sno ball cart! Haha. I will give it to the sno ball cart though... hot chocolates and nachos sound terrible together, but it was enticing for the weather. At least the hot chocolate part. Plus, fairly inexpensive. But, no, those nachos were so stale.. you guys are jerks, you know what you were up to!
With that, I'd given CL's Craft & Draft another looksie and attempt if they're back around next year. read more
