Ben Adams and Darin worked well beyond my expectations in replacing the old cedar wood trim on the glass railing on my deck. Together the two men worked as one with ideas and communication to creatively complete a difficult job. The new pressure treated wood was carefully routered to hold the glass perfectly to display the beautiful lake. The estimate was fair; the work was efficiently and professionally done. We finally gave the ultimatum with a deadline to give us our money or we were calling the police. We got our money, thankfully, but I don't understand how they are still in business. As the previous reviewer stated, she seems professional and caring upfront. She even brought her mother along to help measure our kitchen. However, once your money is in her hands (thank God we only paid a fraction of what the final cost was to be), she is nothing but excuses and lies. She had actually done work for us in the past so we considered her something of a friend. That didn't stop her from shamelessly ripping us off. She strung us along for months, until we finally pulled the plug and went with another company, who gave us a fantastic kitchen, with stellar workmanship. They were honest and above board all the way. Unlike Henderson. Fortunately, we were able to afford the hit but what about those who can't walk away from a scam unscathed? Believe me, Henderson wouldn't care one iota. It is incredible to me that she she is able to sleep at night but then, anyone who uses her "dying" husband (he was already dead, when she tearfully tried that trick) to prevent her marks from getting antsy will truly stoop to any low, apparently without regrets. Run away from Northwood Kitchens and this con artist before you lose a bundle!

Think long and hard before hiring this outfit to do any project at your home. There was a total…read morelack of supervision on the project. Instead of hiring subcontractors as a normal general contractor would, they hired a different general contractor with a crew to handle our project with whom they had not worked with before nor knew much about them. Then the Hagan boys give this unknown crew free access to our property with little to no oversight even though we were charged a steep overhead and profit percentage. As you can imagine, the workmanship was absolutely horrible. In several cases regarding electrical, potentially dangerous. We spent thousands having the work redone after they bailed on the job and refused to stand behind the work that was already done. We discovered the work was not inspected by the county nor were permits pulled. We've been advised since that for the scope of work done, at least two permits should have been pulled. We have given them every opportunity to make good on their promise to do excellent work. We have been ignored. We have been advised by counsel that we have a good case for arbitration but in a pandemic who has the time to chase after this dishonest outfit. My advice, with any construction group, carefully check out their background. Ask for many references and talk to them. Even go take a look at their workmanship. Had we followed this advice, we would have clearly seen the problems ahead of us signing up with such a dishonest group of individuals. Don't make the same mistake. It ended up costing us dearly.
