On any giving day like today, you see the younger generation starting their tradition and building memories that are going to last a lifetime. I wanted to tell them to soak it all in; it goes by fast. Yes, it's the best chocolate in the world, but it also holds a special place in all of our hearts. I remember the owner back then and how she made this place special; she was and still is the sweetest. I think of her fondly as the chocolatier. People like myself who moved on from the state still stop by to purchase chocolate and hang around a bit outside, reminiscing during our visit. I read a fellow Yelpers review and was disheartened by her experience. I do hope they addressed the situation. But, on a personal level I was not subjected to an 'unwelcome' atmosphere. I am quick to point out any injustice particularly in places I frequent and will continue to be vigilant and report if I see any similar behavior at businesses I chose to spend my money. As for the shopping- their purse selections were the best feature of the place. They have unique styles and designs and I always get compliments on them in public. The prices are a bit over the top but they have nice sales on fashion jewelry. I was extremely impressed with the opening of their 'Home' store across the way from the first location. It is still in Highland Village just literally around the corner from the jewelry store. The home store has a larger selection of candles which I am now obsessed with. They did carry a native brand 'SoDelta' which they recently stopped selling. That is the only complaint I have. The brand of candles were authentic Mississippi. I hope/ wish they restock with the 'SoDelta' brand. All in all if you are looking for a cute unique gift to give someone- I would recommend stopping by this place. I laughed because I was a broke 19-year-old college student living not far from here in a one-bedroom apartment on the reservoir. Would I say it was fancy back then? Yes, in a good kind of way. Back then, just like now, no one made you feel unwelcome. But what I love about this place is the selection of stores. The stores back then and some now were uniquely owned. Therefore, you bought items that you didn't see a zillion people wearing. My favorite store has always been Maison Weiss; it's still here. I remember wanting a 200 dollar belt. I saved my little coins and got it, and added a bracelet. But I also loved and still love the restaurants and the open courtyards. I see they have added Whole Foods, LuluLemon, Free People, a Wine Bar, and some more stores, like Kendra Scott. I can say this place still holds its charm, and probably will forever. I know for me it will always have a place in my heart.

Had no idea where the mortuary was located in relation to flowers shop and needed same day. I called and was guided through the process with such patience. Many times I have selected an arrangement on line and what gets delivered is nothing close. This definitely was not the case. I was assured the needed flowers were in stock and looking great. Also on the delivery I was assured the arrangement would Arrive in time for the services. I received an email Confirming the same And received word the spray was beautiful. Much appreciated.
