I experienced the craziest thing ever in the Jackson, MS store. As I was shopping for pillows, a…read moreyoung man that worked there stopped and ask if I needed help. I said yes and he jumped right in and began helping me. In no time, he was called over head to go to the front of the store. He later found me in the store and told me that some people (with a small child and an animal) had arranged the huge boxes of furniture in the very back of the store, to block off an area that they could set up as a place to live inside. They were not there at the time , but the police and investigators were called. A customer just happened to be searching thru the large boxes for a specific piece of furniture and found blankets, stuffed animals, a small bowl of water and a few other items. She reported this incident.

A little information goes a long way. If you make an online purchase and need to make a return, not…read moreall of your emails will include a barcode that is needed to make the return. Your online account that has your order history does not include a barcode. Not currently. You can reach out to customer support to get it. I had my order number, but the associate could not look anything up by that, and you will only be offered a store credit at the current price. My email literally had the order number and the amount I paid for each item! I left very much irritated today after trying to make a return that could have and should have been handled in the store. At any point and time, the associate and the manager could have told me to reach out to customer support because they do not have access to do so. After messaging several people at customer support, I believe them, associates are probably told not to offer that information. The only reason I will be going back to At Home is to return my item now that I have the barcode!

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it ended up being a huge letdown. Between the…read morevintage consignment shop, the clothing store, and the art studio, I spent about 45 minutes here that I honestly wish I had back. All three spaces were priced similarly, and the prices were... astonishing. The clothing consignment store especially made me do a double take. Anything made in the 2000s or earlier seemed to be labeled "vintage," with basic items like T-shirts priced around $39+, things you could easily find at a thrift store for a couple of dollars. Every single item felt overpriced, even the so-called "half off" rack outside. The vintage consignment side was very sparse compared to other shops around town, yet somehow even more expensive. As someone who collects and restores antiques, I fully understand the time, effort, and skill that can go into restoring pieces. Even taking that into consideration, the pricing still didn't make sense. Hundreds of dollars for items that realistically should be in the $80-$100 range at most. I left feeling genuinely mind blown...not in a good way... and thinking about the 45 minutes I'll never get back. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

I remember it a LONG time ago, and it is definitely upgraded and my favorite place to haunt when in Jackson. Well organized and expanded into two buildings. So far I've found antique Oneida silverplate flatware, Gail Pittman dishes (before she was with Southern Living), matching crystal bowls and wine glasses for our patterns, and adorable, funny t-shirts, caps and mugs. My husband even scored a Cherokee Inn mug - new, but great memory for us. I wish I had a mansion and an unlimited budget, because I'd redesign my house every season, just from this store - lamps, beds, tablecloths, wall hangings... Oh, and the customer service is spot on. They were running a promo for $10 if you spent $40 this particular weekend, and we were unaware because we live in Louisiana. The clerk said, "If you spend another $1.25, you can get $10 off." Easy peasy - candy on hand at the register. Done. Another deal and another reason to keep coming back.
