He shows his students new ways of thinking about what we really see- colors, shapes, relationships, and how it all creates an experience. I have a new way of looking at things. The Gallery is an exciting place that contains Bill's art library of books and tastefully displayed art of not only his works, but so many other talented artists. The paintings change frequently so every visit may be a different experience. Bill and his wife Linda are helping to put Caledonia on the map as an art destination. Their first community art show last fall helped to showcase the many talents of local artists. In April, the next community show will bring together area photographers. We really enjoyed our conversation with her and learning how to "throw pots". It's great that she will arrange to have the pieces glazed per our color choices and shipped to us at a later date. This is something that we would definitely return to for our next trip to the finger Lakes.

Her enthusiasm and joyful personality made it an incredibly fun, informative and productive experience!! We both went in, very dubious about our pottery abilities, but she was patient and so helpful that we both made many pieces that came out so much better than we expected. Unfortunately our time restraints couldn't let us finish our pieces, but Laura finished and fired our pieces and happily shipped them to us. We were delighted and surprised to see how beautiful they all were when we unpacked them. I'd highly recommend her classes to anyone in the area, or traveling to the area!! You won't regret it!!

The book was Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. You register for the class and pay online. It is an easy process. You pick up the book before the class. You have a few weeks to read the book and then show up to the book club, where you discuss the book while making a craft. I love this concept. This was my dream night/class, getting to read a book and then craft while discussing it. There were about 8 people there and the instructor. Everyone was so kind and excited to be there and talk about the book. The craft was tote bags. We took acrylic paint and painted a bunch of books on there. There were so many creative designs.  The space at Musejar is wonderful. There is a separate entry for art classes and the store. The store has some super cool craft products, as well as a large selection of fiber items, and decor. It is inviting and warm and always decorated with the season or holiday. The art space is open, bright and has everything you need to make your project successful.
