When we walked in, we were greeted by several employees, and even offered a tour of the store so we would know where to look for different items. We were feeling as if we were let loose in a candy store as if we were kids. I found several items I had not seen in other fabric stores. The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in . Every item that you buy is actually recorded with your name and phone number so in case you do need more items they can ship it to you. I thought that was a pretty good touch. Highly recommend

To clarify I am white but my wife is not and the older white man made sure to trail my wife and I around the store...for obvious reasons. Not a single employee approached to offer assistance and the man with the long hair made sure to keep making his presence known because of my wife's skin color and our friendly little 5 year old with autism. I went ahead and purchased some fabric for a project I am completing, but I'm never entering this store again after the behavior of the employees. If those older folks are the owners it's even more reprehensible. I've got plenty of disposable income to spend on my hobbies, but maybe I'll take it somewhere else where the employees/owners are so blatantly racist. It's very obvious this store has customer service issues after reading the other reviews. Racist stereotypes of trailing brown skinned customers isn't a good look for anyone, especially business owners.

This is most definitely the only place in town like it! Twice a month they have "momma cafe" where you can bring your little one and chat with other moms and lets the kids play together. Everyone seems to be making sheets for queen and king sized beds. Exceptional Sheets, on the other hand, had a good selection for full sized beds. We ordered a set of their 100% Egyptian cotton 400 thread count, 1 ply, sheets. 1 ply means longer fibers and therefore longer lasting sheets. They shipped the next day and we had them 2 days later. We couldn't be happier. These sheets are soft after one washing. We understand that they get even softer with more washings.
