I found this out when she accidentally sent me a screenshot of our conversation from her phone. I texted back asking for an explanation. She called me and, instead of apologizing, she doubled down, telling me I was the "most difficult customer" she's "ever had". The next day, she sent a novel-length text to me and my husband about why she thinks we are terrible customers. In summary, she was apparently angry because: 1. My husband and I asked the crew to wear masks when passing through the living room, where we were working remotely. We were fine with the crew not wearing masks while they worked. 2. There was a scheduling hiccup. I told Bobbie Jo in advance that I would only be home before noon one day, and she said that was fine. Then that day, the crew did not arrive before I had to leave. I called to reschedule and she asked me to leave my door unlocked for the crew while I was out. I said no, because I'm not comfortable leaving my unattended home unlocked in the middle of the day. Bobbie Jo seemed to think this meant we didn't trust her crew, but that was never the issue. Four days after she sent the screenshot, she texted a weak offer to "make things right" by offering us a gift card (of unspecified amount) to a steakhouse. Still no apology. She never said sorry or admitted wrongdoing. We declined the gift card. For the sake of completeness, we want to add that there was a minor issue related to the service. We asked if they could add shoe molding in one room and the crew said yes. After adding that to our invoice, Bobbie Jo then rescinded the offer because, she said, "I am completely out of trim." She didn't offer to let us know when she would resupply. She did take that charge back off our invoice. So if you want to be called a b*tch for making a reasonable request and having a small scheduling issue, go ahead, hire Denton's.
