We are so grateful for our four years at Little Wonders Montessori. Our son started in the "little…read moreschool" with Mr. Michael and is now finishing in Ms. Galyna's "big school". He's loved every year and it's been amazing to watch him grow in confidence and develop a genuine excitement for learning. The teachers take the time to understand each child's unique personality. We've been impressed with how they truly foster kindness, independence, and a love of learning. We also really like the balance of Montessori learning and traditional academics. Thanks to their guidance, our son is more than ready for kindergarten and was accepted into our private school of choice. He's also made wonderful friends and so many great memories. Some of his favorite moments include the class pumpkin patch trips, dressing up for Ms. Galyna's annual tea party, and fun pajama days. We've loved seeing photos of his projects, Montessori activities, baking days, gardening, music time, and so much more. We can't thank Little Wonders enough for giving our son such a strong, nurturing foundation.

Galyna and her staff nurture the children and teach them kindness, compassion, and fun on top of the great learning experiences. We could not be happier with our choice to send our daughter to Little Wonders! And, a quote from our daughter when asked what she likes about school: "thank you for choosing my school - I love my school!"

Short story: Little Star Preschool Too is a fantastic choice because of the campus size, location,…read moreincluded meals, and most importantly, the teachers and educators who care so so much for your little ones! Long story: Little Star Preschool Too was my top choice from the beginning when I was touring preschools. I was delighted to see the campus (plenty of parking spots, quiet neighborhood, residential location and close to restaurants for afterschool pick up)! The preschool is large and has a huge yard for the children to play in during "recess" and at the end of the day. I think the actual amount of land they have for a school is impressive as the children are able to get their wiggles out without having to travel to a local park. While I was dazzled by the tour of the campus, I was absolutely amazed by the teachers and staff! They are all genuinely loving and greatly care about the well-being of the children! I am always greeted with a smile by each of the staff members during drop off. My child has so much fun playing with her peers and the large variety of toys, doing daily arts and crafts, eating their provided lunch and learning new subjects! She took a little bit of time to warm up to being in school and her teacher was so patient with her, spending extra time with her to help her transition. Other teachers and staff would step in to help out too if her teacher was not immediately available for help. Not only does the school teach "regular subjects" like letter recognition and counting, they also teach real life skills like what streetlights and stop signs are used for! (The school had a cute field trip around the neighborhood teaching the children about road safety). There are also a lot of extra features added to the curriculum to help enrich the children's education. There were dance performances, field trips, readings from books regarding different cultural festivals and traditions. The school is just so awesome and I am very happy with my choice. Thumbs up!

I chose Little Star Preschool for my toddler for many reasons:…read more- Full day care (dropoff as early as 7:30 a.m., though the school day starts shortly after 9 a.m.; pickup by 5:30 p.m.) and instruction is year-round. - Mid-year entry (my son started in January) - A large play yard and clean, bright indoor spaces - Meals and snacks are included (you send your kid with a lunchbox with sides, and they provide the main dish) Most importantly, my toddler is pretty shy around new people and slow to warm. I appreciated that Little Star Preschool encouraged multiple playdate visits before he officially started, so that he could get used to the space and staff. All of the teachers were kind, patient, and gentle with him as he transitioned from a small daycare to preschool. They allowed him time to adjust and let him just observe at first, as he preferred, while holding onto his stuffy. His language skills have really exploded (I love hearing him repeat, "Wake up, little bodies!") and I know he's cared for while learning and playing.

The school offers a variety of fun and engaging activities, including singing, dancing, and planting small plants. My daughter will be graduating from Growing Tree this August. Every week, my daughter comes home singing new songs and showing us new dances. Her crafting skills have improved a lot -- she brings home creative art projects every week. Her Mandarin has also improved significantly; she can now speak more fluently and even recognize some simple Chinese characters. My husband actually found the school through a friend, and I remember thinking, how could a 2 1/2-year-old possibly be independent or follow structure? But to my surprise, my son adapted so quickly -- it was amazing to see! In less than a month, he was fully potty trained, eating on his own with real utensils and dishes, putting things away, and following routines with confidence. The teachers were so loving, patient, and kind, and truly knew how to bring out the best in each child. The foundation he got at Creative Montessori carried through the years. He went on to do incredibly well in elementary and middle school, graduating at the top of his class with five awards, and now he's a freshman in high school taking four honors classes. I truly believe that his Montessori start gave him confidence, independence, and a lifelong love for learning. Another thing that stood out was how much care they put into the meals -- freshly cooked hot lunches with healthy servings of fruit every day. It felt like such a nurturing environment, not just academically but emotionally too. We also made lifelong friendships with other families during our time there, and it still warms my heart to think about those early years. If you're looking for a preschool that truly builds a strong foundation for both learning and character, I can't recommend Creative Montessori enough. The loving teachers, thoughtful structure, and caring environment gave my son such a beautiful start and for that, I'll always be grateful.

From the staff to the teachers, there's a strong sense of community, and it's clear that everyone is dedicated to helping each child succeed. Ms. Nancy, Mr. Charles, and Ms. Anne have been nothing short of amazing. They're not only knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, but they also take the time to get to know each student individually, adapting their teaching styles to meet different learning needs. My child was with me since birth until recently, when I sent him to Stratford Parkside for the 2025 summer program. He still cries when I drop him off in the morning; at the end of the day, he excitedly tells me, "School is fun!" The school curriculum is essential, but for my husband and me, the most crucial aspect of choosing a school for our son is that he feels warmth, security, and safety. Mornings are tough when my little one is crying, holding (in my case, climbing) onto me, and not letting me go. But it's like ripping off a band-aid. I have to say goodbye and leave him in the hands of his teachers. I have toured enough campuses to know that when I walk out the door, my son is in good hands. I trust the teachers will work their magic, and my son will be back to being calm and collected in a few minutes. I am not looking for the teachers to baby him (he gets that enough from his grandparents). I appreciate the firm and fair approach. My son has shown significant growth in communication, politeness, and cleaning up after himself, as well as helping with a few chores. I attribute this to the dedication and care of the teaching staff. The communication is excellent--whether through regular updates in person or the school's online portal. I always feel informed and supported in my child's academic journey. It is a two-way street, and I fully believe that it is a partnership between me and the teachers. I appreciate both the positive feedback and the constructive suggestions for improvement. I am committed to working closely with my son to ensure his success and growth. Overall, Stratford Parkside offers a fantastic education with a personal touch. I highly recommend it to any parent seeking a school that genuinely invests in their child's growth, both academically and personally. A special THANK YOU to all the AMAZING teachers: Ms. Nancy, Mr. Charles, Ms. Anne (Mandarin teacher), and Ms. Karla (music teacher). Thank you to all the staff for your guidance and diligence in addressing the missing pieces: Ms. Stef, Ms. Maria, Ms. Gilda, and Ms. Gaelle. We appreciate you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. DJ's parents, Danny & Lizzy
