I feel very fortunate my husband and I found Stay and Play for our kids. It is never easy relying so heavily on someone else to care for your kids but the teachers and staff have made it so much easier simply by taking great care of my kids everyday. I also feel my oldest has learned so much and is well prepared for kindergarten. We always feel our kids are very well cared for and loved by the teachers and staff. By seeing the arts and crafts they do and extras they provide during and out of class (awesome christmas program!) it is clear the teachers and staff also enjoy what they do and that is so very important when it comes to caring for little ones! The staff here are great. During our first visit we noticed all of the staff had smiles on their faces. All of the kids seemed happy too. This visit was a surprise visit so I know it wasn't staged. To top it all off, they were the cheapest day care we had visited. FSLC offers more services than most other day cares. They offer 24 hour care for those parents that work shifts. They also offer a "Parent's Night Out" one Saturday each month. This consist of child care from 6 pm to midnight to allow parents to go out and have fun by themselves. This is really nice for those parents that may not have a close family support system and just need a night to themselves. Our son has been going to Five Star Learning Center for over a month now and I still feel the same way. I know our son is getting the proper care and attention he needs. He comes home happy every day and is hitting his milestones. I feel he is treated just as if he were one of their own. I am truly amazed by this place after hearing horror stories of day cares.

Other than the staff, coming to the Y is an okay experience if you're just wanting to exercise, swim, or do a group exercise class. The aerobics room is in the process of getting newer cardio machines and replacing the older ones. Hopefully as they replace the machines they will expand the types of machines that they have because they are lacking a variety of lower body and abdominal machines that are offered, but they offer ample upper body machines. There's definitely been a consistent issue with cleanliness in the locker rooms, at least I can only speak for the women's locker room. When I first started attending this YMCA the locker room was outdated, floors were dirty, and the bathroom sinks were just as dirty as the floor. They've renovated the bathrooms somewhat recently, which is great anduch needed. However, the floors and sinks, although newish, are dirty again. I don't know if someone regularly cleans the bathroom and locker room, if so, it doesn't look like it. With a few fixes to the cleanliness of certain parts of the facility and additional machines, I would definitely give this YMCA a higher rating.

I even had to call an ambulance at 3:00 a.m. because she stopped breathing because she got so sick from returning to that daycare over and over. My daughter even broke out in a full face rash and she has never had a rash in her life. When I checked her out of that daycare. They gave me five bottles that I did not buy meaning that she was drinking out of other children's disgusting bottles. No wonder she's sick . They also sent me home with an empty bottle of adult rash cream. It says in bold letters not to put on a child. They called and tried to say it wasn't hers but you guys packed her stuff and gave it to me.... They are really nice and look good on the outside but as far as your child's health take your risk if you like.
