Lisa Marie and Scott did a great job providing decorative lighting, pipe and drape, table and linen rentals and dessert platters for my daughter's wedding venue. They were delightful to work with, and visited the venue multiple times to make sure they had everything just right. They provided a beautiful lighting fixture in the tent with bamboo lanterns and greenery that added so much to the setting. Loved working with them and highly recommend. read more

Working with LisaMarie was as the florist for our wedding difficult throughout. The flowers and decorations she provided were fine, but she was difficult to communicate with and underwhelmed us, including not providing the keepsake corsages for our mothers. Furthermore, she told us that we owed her money and that she would not be fulfilling the terms of the contract, which state that upon failure to provide a service, she would refund a pro-rated amount and release us from any further payment. When I quoted the contract in response to her request for an additional convenience fee on top of the credit card fee I paid, she told came up with new reasons to not provide the items or issue a refund. From everything I've heard, this was a particularly busy wedding season and we planned our wedding relatively quickly and tried to keep the budget small, so some of my experience might have been due to these factors, but even given these facts, I would not recommend this vendor. I received an email the day after the wedding asking us to leave a review. Since I was disappointed that the corsages for our mothers were not what we had agreed upon, I sent an email on 10/19 to discuss this and other issues. I received a response that same day in which LisaMarie told me that she knew in advance that the corsages were incorrect. Several of her other responses made me question the notes she had taken during our paid consultation. She did apologize about the corsages, and she offered to make and send them to our mothers. On 11/17, I emailed back because neither of our mothers had received the corsages. In her reply, she said a shipment with the silk flowers was delayed and hence they had not been able to complete the corsages and she also introduced her claim that I did not pay a 4% "convenience fee" for paying by credit card. I clarified that I did pay a 4% credit card fee and she again said I did not pay her convenience fee, rather claiming the fee I paid "was charged to you by the credit card company after the sale." At this point, I was very frustrated and quoted the portion of our contract which requires a refund if any service is not provided at the agreed upon time and absolves the client of any further payment. LisaMarie responded, "As I have already explained this situation has already been remedied by your failure to keep up your end of the agreement. We agreed to your insisting on your very low price budget in exchange for the savings of the credit card fees with your payment in cash on the day of. You went ahead and used the credit card so now the convenience fee is owed to us. Your earlier pick up time and later start time (without informing us btw) This balances out the cost of the keepsakes." This was the first time she had ever mentioned that our wedding started "late," as well as the first time she implied that the pick-up time had been a problem or a discount. She also ignored the contract language to again insist that her convenience fee, which was not included in the contract nor invoice, was not paid. Finally, much like the deposit that she badgered me for earlier in the process, she has never suggested how I could pay said fee. While the flowers were fine, when she failed to perform agreed upon services, she began grasping at straws to bully me into agreeing that it was a "wash." I can only hope that if you use this company, they provide all the services expected, because there will be no recourse or resolution if they do not. read more

Contracted to do a wedding. Per the contract white, ivory and blush flowers were to be used, no pink. She used medium pink and deep pink flowers in ceremony and reception arrangements as well as the bridal bouquet.. The day of the wedding I had to send someone to purchase ivory roses to replace all the pink. Lisa Marie said she was not responsible for what color flowers her supplier sends her. WHAT??? I paid this woman over $6000.00 and this is an acceptable answer?Per the contract, three wristlets to be delivered, she delivered two and said the other one broke. The two she delivered disintegrated within 15 minutes of the start of the ceremony. She was very hard to communicate throughout the 2 yr process (covid delayed wedding), and her excuse was that she was so busy. We offered more than once to part ways if she was stretched too thin and to return all deposits, but she refused. When confronted with her errors, she was rude and insisted none of it was her fault. If you want to cry sad tears on your wedding day, then use this florist. It's very unprofessional to set up a phone and then not call or email to say that you couldn't call today. Then she had the nerve to email me the next day and act like its my fault and that she had no clue that our phone consult was scheduled on Tuesday not Wednesday. I don't like playing games. Already have a bad feeling about this place. I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. Update. She emailed me back and I quote, " Sincere Apologies-It somehow went into my google calendar for Wednesday. I am sorry if you lost time out from work on my account. I couldn't disagree with the other reviews more! Lisa Marie was professional, creative, and more than willing to work within my budget. When I presented her with my ideas, she had so many of her own that there were many flowers/arrangements to consider. I felt that she thought carefully about my vision, and enhanced it with her creativity. The floral arrangements she made for my baby shower were the hit of the party! Worked here for about a month and a half. I was taken on as an apprentice and given few tasks. At one point I was given a kids party event to help plan out ideas and such. Which was probably the only actual project I was given besides helping with tasks such as putting together flowers and event set up. Totally ok with this. However working for this women was a nightmare. I've had many jobs with shitty bosses but this was by far my worst experience . Completely unprofessional when dealing with "team members", other vendors and clients. Absolutely horrible communication and leader skills. Just hearing her on the phone blaming others for her fuck ups, followed by her hanging up and ranting how it's their fault. I ended up walking out when she blamed me for missing an appointment that I had reminded her about earlier that morning. Also not part of my job. Overall her some of her events may appear nice but the quality and customer service are just not there. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a florist!! Be aware of who you are dealing with, she is very unprofessional and will make promises she won't keep about delivering your vision with a budget. This is a day you will never get back and to have flowers that look like a friend could have done for you is not what you want on your big day...I will be happy to show pictures of what she put in my reception room on my wedding..please do contact me. I paid close to 5K for my flowers and got ripped off on what i got. I have a friend who has a florist licence and she told me how much the flowers she used on my big day cost, noooo where close. When i addressed the issue, she basically dismissed all my complains because of course at that point she had already been paid in full. My friend and I attended Creative Ambiance's wreath making class on November 19, 2017. Overall we were pretty unhappy about our experience with Lisa. I was not going to leave her any negative reviews on her sites, but after the email response I received this morning, I owe it to any potential clients. We paid $15 each up front for her "instruction". I admit I questioned the price because it was extremely reasonable if we were bringing wreaths home, but after scrutinizing the class description there was no language regarding additional fees. We arrived about 10 minutes early (she insists we arrived 30 mins early but my GPS proves otherwise) and she and her spouse were eating dinner at the kitchen table. Nothing was set up yet so the first 20 mins of our experience was watching her dig through bins to find the materials for us. We were given 3 options (she claims 10 options) of wreaths to make without mention of a price. Once we starting painting the pine cones with glue, she mentioned the wreaths were $25 each and the ribbon was $3 per yard. I was somewhat frustrated that the prices were not given to us up front, but $30 for a wreath seemed reasonable. At the end, we were met with a $120 bill on top of the $30 we had already paid, which included a glue fee, wire fee and $4 per pinecone. We expressed our frustration that the prices were not listed in her class description but she argued back and said they were. Once we got back to our car we took a screenshot to prove that there was no language regarding additional fees and it wasn't until 30 minutes after we left that she added the language she previously claimed was already there. Her payment receipt asked me for a review of my experience, so I responded accordingly. Her email responses back were riddled with lies and stretches of the truth. I want to stress the fact that I am not leaving this review because of the outrageous cost of the wreaths, I am leaving it because of her condescending and pompous "customer service skills". Here is her appalling email if you're interested in reading it for yourself: "The wording beforehand did state supplies were additional. I did decide that clarifying it with a number could make a difference to someone like yourself who does not think to ask questions. We also now have the class listed at 1-hour max and our doors locked until class time. We no longer extend the COURTESY of early entry. We also have a menu that states the many wreath decor items and costs. There are 10 options to create not 3. Last week's class was wonderful and all that came even gave us a tip. Perhaps the cost of the class was out of your league. Next time it's probably best for you to just go purchase a wreath at Walmart." No one should try to throw low-class daggers because their overpriced pricing model isn't transparent. read more

I had the worst customer service with this establishment. After meeting with this person and discussing my budget limit- we signed a contract, and I paid her a deposit in cash. Two days later she emails me to tell me that I had made the calculations wrong on the contract and "I forgot to factor in the bridesmaid bouquets" so the final total was incorrect. Calculating the final total amount is NOT my job...it is the retailers' job. Then the boss had the nerve to blame the error on me. I stated that since I already paid the deposit in cash and we both signed a contract to an agreed amount, she should be honoring the said amount- as it was her error for not noticing four bouquets were not factored in to her total. She offered to compensate I think, for one of the bouquets but at that point, I just wanted my deposit $ back because I no longer trusted that she wouldn't adjust the price later down the line or just be difficult/combative. There were other issues regarding the ambiguity of "set up prices" for tables, and then for the altar, its like there were different set up fees that would pop up from first draft contract to second contract, it wasn't consistent to say the least. What is the point or safety of having a contract with a final amount including the taxes, two signed signatures, a hand over of $500 in cash, and a receipt... if what you get is an email two days later that tells you the price has been increased 1/4th of the total original cost (yes, it went up 25%) because you, yourself did not notice a glitch in someone elses' written up contract. Needless to say, she would not give me my deposit $ back. I had paid the deposit and was trying to get it back within a week of paying it and my wedding was not even until nine months at the time this took place (meaning, I gave her $500 for 0 services rendered) I am so turned off by this place that I am not even pursuing trying to get it back- I'm just so glad to never deal with this lady again. What was way more off putting than the price adjustment was the way she was unapologetic in anyway of the error and instead seemed very comfortable in letting me think it was my fault not to notice the error. This is truly awful customer service - and in the wedding business- its all about the customer service. Get it together! The only saving grace is this - I won't have to endure a dragged on partnership with an establishment that quickly shows they don't really care about your special day. If I could put negative stars on here I would. If you want a stress free experience where the coordinator is pleasant, upfront and accomodating...don't go here. read more

This review is in response to an event I attended at Creative Ambiance's wreath making class on November 19, 2017. My friend and I were looking forward to creating wreaths in a fun and relaxing class-setting. Prior to class, we registered on Eventbright and paid $15 for the listed class price. I will include a screen shot of the class description below. Unfortunately, this class was poorly organized, to say the least. We soon discovered the event description was extremely misleading. Upon arriving to the "studio", Lisa and her husband were finishing their dinner. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of class, but we felt a little uncomfortable. They quickly cleaned up, and Lisa proceeded to show us the three wreath options. We chose the wreath we would like to make, and continued downstairs where she intended to hold the "class". Nothing was prepared, so she then began rummaging through several storage crates to gather the materials necessary. We were very patient, as we assumed she must be new at leading classes. About 20 minutes later, we began assembling our wreaths. Lisa waited until we began working to slyly mention the project would cost an additional $25/wreath, and ribbon would cost $3/yard. While I felt it was inappropriate not to mention these costs ahead of time, we accepted, and continued making the wreaths (that would bring the total cost for the 1-hour class to ~$50, which although certainly seemed high for the caliber of instruction and quality of the take-home item, we again, were sympathetic to her seemingly novice instruction skills). Lisa then instructed us to choose pinecones to decorate the wreaths. Unsure of the process, we asked how many we would need for the design. She, without hesitation, stated 7 pinecones would be suitable. After gathering pinecones, we added glitter, and secured them to the wreaths with wire. Once we finished, I asked Lisa if I could pay her with a Visa. She invited me over to the desk, and disclosed a total of over $120.00 for two wreaths. Quickly questioning the price break down, her tone changed as she tried to glaze over the $25/wreath, $3/yard of ribbon, $4 pinecone (which she insisted we needed 7 of), and additional fees for glue, glitter, and wire. I then stated that there was no indication of such extensive supply costs on her website, and no further suggestion of said costs once arriving to the studio, other than that of the wreath base and ribbon. She insisted the website was clear, and proceeded to make a $150.00+ total (over $75/person) for our one hour of sub-par instruction. Luckily, as mentioned earlier, I took a photo of her event details. Later that evening, I decided to check to see if she would change her event details to include the extra supply cost, as she insisted it was listed, and this was an oversight on our part. Low and behold, she had added that "Supplies start at $25 and up", soon after we left. I have attached the side-by-side comparison below. Although we were very dissatisfied with the event, neither of us wanted to post any public reviews about our experience, and this women's very deceitful business practices. That is, until we received a response to a private review that was sent directly to Lisa. We disclosed our concerns and frustrations, only to receive this response in return: "The wording beforehand did state supplies were additional. She kept saying someone is just "breaking the chain of emails." When she found out I choose another florist she send this nasty email to me. She and the rest of her team are creative and listened to what my vision for the flowers for my wedding (Oct. 4, 2014) and brought them to life.
