I'm adding this place because I had trouble finding a good tailor while living in Montreal…read more Between dry cleaners and tailoring I had many beautiful dresses ruined. So this was a refreshing surprise. It was recommended to me by the Guess/ Marciano downtown. So you know that they can do nice dresses, competently. I had 20 garments including some beautiful Marciano dresses altered here. The owner was very kind, he stayed late to do the fittings. I got my garments back past the promised date, it's my only complaint but the work was professional and I'm completely satisfied. The price point is also very reasonable.

Unfriendly and unprofessional service. Agreed to a price to fix pants with a broken cord, to which…read morethey would shorten the waist and length too. First time I picked it up, the cord was still broken, which they said that they would fix. Second time around, it's not ready yet as they still have to pass the cord around. Third time I come, they want to charge extra for the cord, which I refused since it was part of what we agreed to. Diva Pierre D. told me to never come again, then could not subtract the change well from the bill I handed, and then had to open the cash again to give me the 10$ dollars he was [keeping] from my change. Lots of nicer places around. Avoid.

I have quite a few options where I live and have been going to Brilotti cleaner on Laurier for…read moreyears. They do an impeccable job but are slightly pricier than nearby options. I came across this cleaner through their partners on Parc Ave. They don't do as good a job but seemed worth the price. I had been bringing in clothes for the last few months until a recent incident. I brought in a white linen shirt and when I came to pick it up there was a red stain on the pocket. Right away they were on the defensive when I asked what happened. They said you had a pen in your pocket or something in there, and that this never happens... Pretty ridiculous considering if you have a stain you show the cleaner and ask if they can remove it, and you'd see something in a white linen shirt pocket (not that I ever use that pocket anyway). The owner of the shop on Parc said it's out of her hands she needs to speak with the cleaner for a solution. I waited 2 weeks which is ridiculous finally for her to say they could not get the stain out. She gave me the contact of "Maikl" who runs this cleaner. I called him and he was rude. His solution was to bring it back in to try to bleach it. It's been over 3 weeks and no real solution. At this point my best option is to bring it to another cleaner. At the least you'd expect the owner to be polite and understanding... but he was rude and unprofessional. That's what you're dealing with if you go to this place. I realize it's worth paying the premium a good place like Brilloti charges. Too bad they had to ruin a nice shirt for me to realize this. My girlfriend also brought her winter jacket to this place and they charged a ridiculous amount and did a terrible job. Definitely avoid the place on Park. They ship it out and it's always super slow getting your clothes and then you get a run-around answer if something happens. Average quality with no customer service. I can post pics of the shirt, really disappointing experience.
