That's what you are gonna pay at the cost for line caught American seafood. I ordered a pound of the grouper and the guy promptly pulled a whole grouper out of the ice and filleted it in front of me. Truly as fresh as you can get it. They also had oysters, scallops, flounder and croaker. The croaker was $3.49 a pound and likewise they clean it right in front of you. I grilled the grouper and it was phenomenal.

I learned about this market through word of mouth ( Shout out to Chef Shauna) and I have not been disappointed, by any of my purchases. I am only sad that I missed out on live crab and crawfish season. They are located in an area called Tramway next to Stubbs and if you don't look, you will miss it. They are pleasant folks and they know there seafood. There stall is clean and they keep everything iced well.
