I've used Crazy 8's Cab Company taxi service a few times here in Yuma, AZ and so far their taxi drivers have picked me up on time, their dispatch and drivers were polite and courteous, and the taxi service fees were reasonably priced. For those folks complaining about the taxi vehicle's aesthetics and or the drivers appearance, "For God's sake, Get Over It! You'll Live!" You are not buying the vehicles, or marrying/dating the drivers! If you want the red carpet and the Slim Shady Red Carpet service then go and hire yourself a limousine service. I'll continue using Crazy 8's Cab Company, as they are again, reliable. read more

i will never use this cab again! Today during the hottest part of day (1:30) my tia who cant walk 20 steps without sitting down, ankles swollen beyond belief, using a walker, and besides all that is 81yrs old was dropped off 1/2 mile away from destination because the driver didnt want to go down the canal rd. so heres this sick old lady with a walker trying to make her way uphill pushing her walker thru the dirt n gravel with her bag of grocerys and her purse at 1:40 pm in the az summer heat because this lady dont want to drive on a dirt road. my conscience wouldnt let me do it karma is always hanging around sooner better than later in this case then when i called to complain they hung up on mebefore i could get a word outta my mouth. so skip down to the next taxi company when looking for transportation. she was prob in ahurry so she can go get high ive heard other stories about these drivers! I give them no stars but it wont post unless i give one star! read more

Zero stars if I could Was told they would be in somerton in half an hour and that was and hour ago, still not here, didn't bother calling back to say they didn't even head out , now I didn't make it to my orientation. read more

I have been using Crazy 8 on and off for about 9 years. This last year quite often. I pay different prices for going to the same places. Sometimes they don't show up and then don't answer the phone when I call to find out when they will be here. Uber and other companies charge more and if I'm doing cash I can't use them anyway. So I continue to put up with Crazy 8. It would be good if they would realize I'm a paying customer and should be treated that way. They round up to the next dollar if you go over, $3.15 would be $4. The up keep of their vehicles is terrible so sometimes they won't take you to where you need to go. On the upside there are a few wonderful drivers but they aren't always working when I need a ride. read more

I waited three hours with three promises by them but they never fucking showed up. I had just gotten out of the hospital and needed toget home, The assholes never showed up, never called. Don't use them. They actually get no stars. read more

I'm appalled by the quality of their drivers as human beings. Their driving quality is lousy, but that's not surprising given the condition of their cars. The thing that forced me to write this review was seeing a driver physically dragging a disabled passenger across the hot asphalt of a medical plaza parking lot. I ran over and helped the man up and into his wheelchair but seriously - what on earth was the driver thinking??? The worst part about seeing it was that I wasn't at all surprised by the fact that it happened. My suggestion is to pay for a Lyft or Uber and avoid Crazy 8. Let your money support drivers who are good people. read more

They never show up get high with other people while answering the calls wouldn't bother and cabs are junk

Called for a ride from Drs office. Told me they would be there in 1/2 hr. 1 1/2 hour later no taxi, wouldn't answer the phone. Called a different cab service, picked me up in 10 minutes. read more

My son used this cab service to come to my home .The taxi driver hit our brick fence and knocked it down. The driver said he would fix it and since it was the middle of the night and dark I assumed he would come back and fix it the next day. The next day when I did not hear from him I called the dispatcher and she asked me to send pictures which I did and they would get back to me. Nobody ever made any contact and when my mother who was the home owner was finally able to get ahold of the owner he told her he fired the driver and he will not stand behind the driver he hired and fix the fence. He sure didn't have a problem taking the money for the fare I will never use this cab company and would be very concerned if he won't stand by his driver for this which was total negligence of the driver what if you were in a accident? Customer service is totally lacking read more

Was overcharged twice in morning and evening and didn't get payed back which was a whole new ride worth both drivers were told and didn't bother to refund the overcharge read more

Traveling from Yuma, AZ to Sarasota, FL. All flights canceled so I had to get to some lodging for a few days. Called Crazy 8's and was picked up promptly by a GREAT lady. She was so kind and made a previous situation just calm for me. The price was perfect too. read more

Crazy is right. Speeds, brakes fast, changes lanes unnecessarily and tailgates. Politeness on the road is lacking. If you don't have heart problems, you will. read more

They always show up when I schedule right on time. Marissa even brought a bag of groceries back that was left in the trunk. Use them every time. read more

15 mins late.. Call to ask why.. No reason.. New time.. 15 mins late off the new time... called a new cab. Don't give them the buisness.

Crazy 8 is professional and affordable! Only Taxi derive I know comes out to the Rez with no problem! He was able to find my house on Rez with little to no Direction! Thank you crazy 8 for you friendly service! read more

Very cheap rates always on time. The cars are always clean and the drivers are very friendly. I especially love the fact that they have base access. They can't go wrong in my book when you need a designated driver or a ride to the airport. read more

I would give them 5 stars, especially because a good taxi company is so rare in Yuma, BUT they don't always answer when you call. For me, that's worth deducting a star. Other than that, they have clean vehicles, professional staff, and they have ALWAYS been 5 minutes early when I arranged for them to pick me up. Also, they take credit cards...most other companies in Yuma are cash only. Let's put it this way, this company is always the first I call in Yuma, and I always hope they'll answer because I know I will get good service. But I think it's not cool that they sometimes just don't answer the phone. I suppose that's Yuma... read more

Probably the ONLY RELIABLE taxi in Yuma. Kevin was a great driver, on time and really nice. Screw the other taxis, no one ever called me back even though I reserved my time for the next day. So crazy 8 it is :) read more

I was lucky enough to take a ride with the owner of the company. Great ride and great service. I ask lots of questions and he knows this town! Highly recommend!! read more

Everything you would expect from a good cab company this place has got it. The only reason is that I didn't rate five starts is because they don't have a ton of cars. And on busy nights it can be up to a 45 minute wait. But the prices are good. And I'll use them again read more

Great Service! I took a cab from Yuma to Holtville. When my cab arrived to pick me up it was right on time. I was greeted by Hector , the driver with a pleasant smile and a friendly personality. 5 stars & I will definitely recommend Crazy 8. read more

Awful! Rude! ALWAYS late (like by an hour at least). To the slob who answers the phone; shame on you for hanging up on me and being such a jerk! I work downtown and give you so much business every week... I will NEVER call you for my customers ever again! For anyone looking for a punctual, professional, safe ride call vicks vip! They are super friendly and charge the same. They also have base access! 9282108020 read more

After making a reservation 2 days in advance for a ride from the airport to Los Algodones and back to the airport I was VERY clear about the importance of time for my ride as I was catching a plane. I was picked up from the airport, no problem, had a lengthy conversation with the driver about what time she should pick us up for our ride back as we had to catch a flight. 10:55 or 11 at the latest. I even stated I would pay extra if needed. Got picked up at 11:18, missed my flight by 5 min., had to spend the night in PHX because missing the flight in Yuma made me miss my connecting flight home. So the way I see it this 'taxi service' cost me $100 hotel and 24 hours of time I could have been spending healing after the dental work I received in Los Algodones. All of this because the driver evidently could not read the time. Lame! BTW it cost $25 from the airport to the border... read more
