Scalped on memory I…read morewent to Dixons having mislaid my camera before a two week trip to the great canyons of the US. I did my research in a hurry the evening before and shortlisted several cameras, checking prices in the UK and USA. Dixons had one of the cameras I was interested in, and the price was not the best but was acceptable. What I did not anticipate was that they would outrageously rip me off on the memory card (which I had not thought necessary to price up). They charged £59.99 for a SANDISK extreme 64mb micro-SD card. Having not bought a memory card in years I thought nothing of it, until I returned home to discover that Amazon (amongst others) sell this for £14.69 or less! This is staggering, outrageous robbery, and I am dumbfounded at their behaviour. It will be a cold day in hell the next time I step into one of their stores.
