The contact specialist and receptionists were rudely unhelpful and resulted in a waste of money and…read moreMONTHS that could have been spent elsewhere. Please save yourself the effort and go anywhere but here. I went for my first appointment to get my eyes checked for contacts and the reception staff was immediately ill mannered and unpleasant. (There is no wall and we patients can hear them talking about other customers). After months of trial contacts that did not work for me, I went back for a recheck on 12/2. I specifically called to make the recheck appointment and confirm that there would be no extra charge, since nothing they were having me try was working. I explained that I was being given trial contacts for months and having trouble with my contact fitting. I was explicitly told I would not be charged. Well I went back for my recheck and was charged $147 since "the contact specialist is seperate". I told them i had been confirmed for no payment over the phone since I explained my issue was WITH MY CONTACTS and was never told that the contact specialist was a seperate charge. After some back and forth the dark haired receptionist cut me off and said "well do whatever you want we'll just send you the bill". She eventually agreed with me that I "shouldn't have been told that over the phone" but that they were going to charge me anyways. I still have not gotten the correct contact lenses from them. The contact specialist who was trying to fit me with contacts told me what she gave me was probably the best im going to get, even though i told her the contacts were blurry and giving me headaches. I had her write down a note for me of what pair of trial contacts I had in my eyes and which she was ordering for me prior to leaving the appointment. When i didn't recieve these notes (that i watched the contact specialist photocopy for me and leave for the receptionist) I asked the blonde receptionist, who was immediately rude. She told me to sit down and wait for the specialist to be done with her next patient to get the sheet of paper she photo copied for me. I told her that was unacceptable because I could literally see them on the counter and pointed to them. After some more unnecessary back and forth and an eye roll, she finally handed me the sheet of paper she was about to make me wait 30 minutes for. I was told I would recieve a call to come pickup my trial contacts in 1-2 days. Three days go by with no call, so i called the office and Chris the contact specialist said the contacts were "not there" and she "wasn't sure where they went" so she said she would order them for me to pick up the following Monday. When Tuesday rolled around, still with no call, I called the office and was sent to voicemail with an eventual call back later that day. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and go elsewhere to get you eyes checked.

I wasn't a candidate for Laser/Lasik or PRK, I've exhausted my research in those areas. I decided…read morenot to give up by extending my research with hope of an alternative option and I miraculously stumbled upon the Implantable Contact Lens. After stumbling upon this Gem, I had to then carefully research the installers AKA Doctors who'd make my vision literally come to life with clarity. Although I managed for years not wearing glasses or contacts my vision was severe nearsightedness. I recently had Visian ICL implanted in both my eyes by Dr. Perl. This review might not do justice but I can say based off my experience as I can't speak for everyone else and their experiences with him, my experience with Dr.Perl was superb. DR. PERL is about his business, you can tell by his persona, and is obviously very skilled/experienced in what he does. He's straight to the point, explains thoroughly what you'll be getting prior to him performing or operating on you. I want to give Danielle the Technician a big shout out for taking her time with me and making sure my prescription was on point, before passing it along to DR.PERL as this was a Major step in my preparation prior to surgery Danielle is a great Technician. Last but not least the front desk staff for being polite each time answering phone and in-person. Thanks to Jacqueline as we had our ups and downs with communicational errors and trials. Prior to pandemic Jacque has did her very best working with me pre-op and post-op we're all human. Shes definitely worked in getting the ball rolling as best as she possibly could've. I have nothing but good things to say about her. Jacqueline's direct colleagues were pretty awesome as they made a debut, once I crossed the finish-line in my ICL post-op follow-up. My vision has gone from 20/100 to 20/20. I can now comfortably focus on my career without straining my eyes. I can see clear as day and clearly at night this is truly a life changing experience in its purest form. I'm a living testimony. The travel from Brooklyn,NY all the way to New Jersey each time is worth it all.
