I almost never review non-restaurants, but I had such a good experience with these guys that I had…read moreto take some time out to give them a positive review especially since I have had some nightmare experiences with other reno guys. I was referred to Western Innovation System from a co-worker who got their kitchen redone by them. Jon and his team helped us with some kitchen and deck renovations. We had a deck redone awhile ago and Jon was able to catch some mistakes the other contractor previous made. I was really impressed with how smooth the kitchen reno process was- he pointed out some things about the original kitchen design that weren't quite right and he helped me make the kitchen a lot more functional than I had originally planned! It was clear that they had a lot of experience in this department and I'm glad I didn't decide to try to some some aspects myself to save on costs. I was also really impressed with the modern and clean finishing. He was so great with the main house that we decided to also hire him to do some renovations to turn our garage into a workspace. When we showed him our garage he pointed out that we had some rat droppings. We had rats! who knew? Jon was so courteous he helped us find an exterminator and helped us sanitize and throw out the junk from our space. He found people that were far cheaper than any other junk service we were calling. He then helped us seal up all the holes in the house and garage to make sure pests wouldn't be a further problem (There's a community garden on the corner of our block and I'm pretty sure the rats were coming from there). We are really happy with Jon and his team and would not hesitate to call him back on another renovation, plumbing or electrical job. Really outstanding people and very honest. The whole process was really quick and the entire team was very communicative and professional throughout the process.
