This gas station/convenience store has been a Texaco and more recently, a Marathon, but is now a…read moreShell brand station. In reading a couple of the Yelp reviews for its former incarnations, I admit to experiencing some trepidation in stopping to get a soda and snacks. The minute I walked in, I could tell I didn't need to be concerned. It looked as though it has been completely remodeled, the floors and walls were light and bright the aisles were clean and the coolers and regular goods appeared stocked and orderly. That's a weird thing to notice, but there are some convenience stores as sketchy as can be where the items are dusty and some food and drink items are well-past the expiration date. There's old school charm in some older stations and then there's nasty. I noticed also the smell. There's a hot bar in the corner and although it was early in the morning and there was no food yet on display, the aroma of chicken roasting filled the air. Too late for breakfast and too early for lunch, but that smell had me craving chicken. I didn't see chicken on the menu board, just pizza, but I didn't really look that closely. Maybe the owners were cooking their own lunch. The employees, perhaps owners, greeted all of the customers in a way to make it seem like they were happy to see us. Maybe it's this place, maybe they were just happy to see anyone at that hour of morning on a Saturday, or, more likely, they were just pleasant people all around. I didn't buy gas, so I can't speak to the pricing, but with several other stations nearby, there are always options.

The bathrooms are incredibly clean. Especially great with COVID going on. The store has definitely…read moreimproved over the years.

7-Eleven - Sandwich for lunch

After a much anticipated wait, first time visiting after they've only been open about a week…read more Overall most of the store is clean and bright and fully stocked, but the drink area and condiment area needed some cleanup. As you'll see in the photos, there's lots of flavor choices for Slurpie's. I was surprised to see a sign on the ice dispenser for the fountain drinks that already is not working. The floor in front of the drinks was litered with paper from a straws, as was the counter behind it, that also had a spilled drink on it which all made for a sticky and messy look. There's a seating area around the corner from it with just a couple tables and a counter area with tall chairs by the front window area. In an aisle before the drink area are hot dogs cooking on a roller contraption. The condition of the condiment area next to it made even the thought of getting one a turn off. I saw a small bakery area behind glass near the checkout and next to it pizza by the slice. There was a big sign when I walked in about a free pizza on their app so check that out. When I got to the cash register what looked like a manager was training an employee on something. Hopefully cleanup in the drink and condiment area will be on the agenda. Anyway, he quickly came over and rang me up. He was nice enough. I do hope they can tidy up the areas mentioned otherwise it'll be just another sticky floor drink area like too many other convenience stores leaving the bottom of customers shoes a mess. Oh, they have a drive thru car wash and at least for now gas is just $3.04 a gallon.

Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven! I was visiting my father in NC, and I was happy to see a 7-Eleven…read moreopened up near his house. I jogged up there one day to get a Mega Millions ticket, and was impressed at how it has changed since I was last in a 7-Eleven. The establishment was very clean and up to date. I could not believe there was a beer cave dedicated to beer, and was pleasantly surprised with the selection of beer. I had to get a Slurpee, because it brought me back to my childhood when I would get a Slurpee every time at a 7-Eleven. The selections were a huge variety and I decided upon the Vitamin water zero sugar option blueberry hibiscus. It was wonderful! The gas station was well kept and clean. It has been at least 20 years or more since I have been in a 7-Eleven, and it was like I have never left. Despite being more upscale and up to date, this 7-Eleven was the same as it always been, and offers plenty of variety to the customer. It was a great childhood memory brought back to life. 7-Eleven had a special place in my heart, and it is nice to visit one again after so many years! Can't wait to come back the next time I see my Dad!

Like everyone else, this review is for the new Breeze Thru and their incompetent rude staff. If I…read morecould give them zero stars, I would....I had been a postal customer of the former Dolphin's for 8-9 years and have always received efficient (& usually friendly since they knew me) service. I came in with a large stack of business mail that needed to be weighed and stamped. The first gentleman behind the counter did not seem to understand how US addresses were written and had a very difficult time navigating the postal Computer system. It took a long time for him to process just 3 out of my 20 envelopes while a long line was starting to form at the other register. It became apparent that he was the only one there behind the counter at this time. People were getting impatient & I was getting frustrated with the incompetence. After another 10 mins, another employee walked back in after her cigarette break...(She was crouched outside when I walked into the store. It should've been apparent that help would be needed with all the customers walking in.) She told the first guy to go take care of the cash register while she took over the post office transactions. She glared at me and snapped "ya know that you could've done all this on the internet" to me. Uh....YOU are being paid to do a job so DO IT!! I DON'T need to explain myself to you. She continued with her obvious attitude and slapped each envelope down on the scale while furiously jabbing the keys on the key board. Wow!! What a gem this one is!! ....so...customer beware. If you want service, come in here with low expectations.
