Well, this place isn't particularly all that big, and really only serves as a local shopping centre with a major supermarket and, for some unknown reason, two bottle shops (surely only one would be necessary). I'm a fan of Airport West Westfield for the following reasons:…read more - It doesn't seem to get as busy as other major shopping centres, and even when it is busy the customers out here have been trained in the arts of not pissing you off and not getting in your way; basically most peeps are considerate, which is so helpful when you've got a five year old and a 14 month old in a pram. - Open late Thursday and Friday nights, and open all weekend until 5pm. - No where near as large as Highpoint or Chadstone, making it more convenient for mums, prams, wheelchairs etc as nearly everything you need is on the Ground floor. - Massive free car parking, with car parks all around the centre so you can park closest to where you're going to shop; as well as disabled parking spots there are also parking with pram spots - EXCELLENT! - All the major chains you've frustratingly grown to need; Coles, Aldi, Woolies, Target, KMart, Best and Less. - A satisfying mix of high end and high street fashion, kids shops, all the major (and most non-major) banks, cinema complex, hair and beauty salons, a large round circular food court offering take out and fresh food and fantastic toileting facilities including multiple parent rooms with TV's and playrooms. Everything you need and want in a more convenient and thoughtful centre. Especially great for the grocery shop with free parking directly out front of whichever shop you choose and extended trading hours.

This shopping centre has got a lot of things right that a lot of shopping centres have got wrong! Lets look at them in point form: 1. The car park is enormous and completely surrounds the shopping centre - so you can park near the closest entrance to the particular shop you need. 2. It is virtually all on the ground floor, so you dont have to buggerize around with escalators and lifts 3. There is a pub in the carpark (Skyways Tavern) - albeit not a great one, but it has a TAB if you need to put a bet on... (thats what we do out this way!) 4. It actually has a Target unlike most of the shopping centres I usually go to. All in all its pretty good. The big negative though is that the food in the foodcourt is absolutely appalling!!!! I dont know why but I can never find anything very nice to eat in that place. If the food was better, Id consider giving the centre 4 stars, but without decent food it only gets 3...

Northland Shopping Center is a great place to do your groceries, clothes shopping, and if staying…read morefor Lunch, or Dinner, Northland has lots of delicious eateries to eat at, such as Grill'd, Sushi Hub, The Groove Train, and many more. It is also a good place to buy video games from, like EBGames, and JB-HI-FI. I recommend this place to people who do lots of shopping. I also recommend this place to people if they are having a nice Lunch or Dinner outside of home. Definitely recommend Grill'd.

I didn't really bother checking this place out the few times that I have ended up at Roxburgh Park…read morerailway station, namely because I was more interested in catching the train as opposed to actually going and exploring a shopping centre. Well, that is until I decided to go and explore the shopping centre. Honestly, there really isn't all that much here, and the only good thing about this particular place is that it happens to be near the railway station. Other than that it is a small collection of shops, near a number of other shops spread out around the area, with a couple of major supermarkets. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

As a shopping centre Epping Plaza serves its purpose, but it is hardly a place that I would…read morerecommend people go out of their way to visit, especially if they live in Dandenong, or Sydney. There isn't really all that much beyond it being one of those large regional shopping centres. It has all of the major stores (as well as a couple of little gems hidden away), a cinema, and an entertainment strip with restaurants (and a rather ordinary pub). The annoying thing I find about it, especially since I don't own a car, is the length of time it takes me to walk around it to get to the cinema (and home again) on a saturday evening (and late of a Friday night). Oh, and there is never a cab at the cab rank when you actually might need a cab, which is also incredibly annoying.

Greensborough Plaza is the poor cousin to it's relative neighbours Northland and Doncaster Shopping…read moreCentres. It bills itself as a major shopping centre for one. Wrong. Chadstone is major, unfortunately you GP are not. It is significantly smaller then nearby centres, so if you are after a bunch of chain stores with some department stores thrown in (you get either Kmart or Target) your shopping marathon would be better sated in one of the larger neighbours. However that said GP does well as a large local shopping centre. The Plaza can meet all your grocery needs and chain store requirements. The multilevel mall houses over 190 retailers yet the range is limited. This is not the place to head for anything with the word designer in it. The Plaza is best suited to local families and teenagers. The Hoyts Cinema's are small, dark and dingy and not all the major banks have a branch inside. As a teenager I spent hours after school and weekends scouring the Plaza for chain store bargains and just generally killing time. Greensborough Plaza lost me after I left high school and could drive. So my history pretty much sums the Plaza up. It is convenient and family friendly but does little to appeal to shoppers that have learnt to expect more.
