We spent about 2 hours going over the details, which included showing an inspiration photo and choosing the flower placement, curtains, draping and lights for the backdrop. Coco also said she would add a wood cutout with my daughter's name and Sweet 16 to hang on the backdrop. This was to be painted in gold glitter. I went back to ask additional questions and order 2 more items. I was assured everything was in order. The day before my daughter's event, my coordinator called Coco to confirm delivery, set up, and that my order was correct. Coco was short with her and seemed too busy to go over my order. On the day of the event, I was not present when the backdrop and other items were delivered. When I got to the venue to look things over, I was surprised and dissatisfied with the backdrop. It was nothing like what Coco and I discussed. The only thing correct were the colors, except she missed one color for the draping. There were no lights, the roses went across the back instead of only on the corners, the roses were supposed to be blush and beige, they were white, the curtains weren't draped, and the sweetheart table was not decorated. According to my coordinator, she was told by Coco they were not decorating the table. The venue scrambled to put something together for the table, and I had come prepared with extra decor and lights in case it was needed. I'm glad I thought of that! This woman charged me $1500 to design a custom backdrop of my daughter's vision. She also charged me an exorbitant amount for what was actually delivered. We tried to fix her backdrop the best we could, but ultimately, it did not look even remotely like what we discussed. I asked for a refund for the backdrop and was offered $250 in store credit. This company almost ruined my daughter's celebration. My daughter has Autism and is very particular about what she wants. I was assured by Coco that she could deliver that. She did nothing of the sort. Use caution if you decide to hire this company. Make sure they write down everything and double, triple check prior to delivery. They don't do refunds for poor work and threaten take you to court.
