Do not hire this contractor!…read more Initially he provided me with a reasonable estimate and seemed quite genuine. We signed a fairly large contract for a full home renovation. Less than halfway through he walked off the job because he realized he was unable to complete it for the amount he had quoted. When contacted several times to remedy the outstanding account, he replied 'file closed' and has not responded since. By borrowing a significant amount of money, I was fortunately able to finish my house and move back in - 1.5 years later than originally planned. The 2nd contractor was wonderful. He had to redo all the windows, some of the framing and plumbing due to substandard and unsafe work. I am now left with a very large mortgage. Do not let this contractor do what he did to me! Do not hire him!
