Its a really cute place with really good food. I had just a house salad with fries and prawns, so nothing really to go crazy about. I did think the prawns could have been seasoned. They were basically like steamed or something. The basil vinaigrette helped. The fries were really good. My friend had the ribs and loved them. Another friend had the steak and said it was the best she'd ever had. Another friend really enjoyed the chicken sliders. I had a spicy margarita which was delicious. read more

My first time to eat here. Crispy salmon sushi and korean sticky ribs was really good for appies. Had prawns linguine and fiancé's had the smash burger they were delicious!!! Would come back for sure. Try the mango-lorian beer it's really good.. service was topnotch. No wonder place was busy! Ambiance was casual-classy. read more

I was meeting seven of my good friends to go to the Winspear for a concert tonight. I've never been to craft beer market the menu looked pretty good. At first the service was great I'll order the Prosecco that was the drink of the night for Tuesday. From now on it went downhill. We ordered our meals and people ordered drinks and more Prosecco. At one point we were just looking for someone it was actually working. Three servers were chatting while there was no service going on. A couple that was seated next to us actually left because the service was so bad. We were there early at 5:15 order of drinks and meals. We did not get out of there until 7 PM and then the nerve to charge us 20% gratuity when we had to ask for service continually. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place is so pretty , the booths remind me of something out of mad men . It was a Friday night so the place was packed . The service was quick , and so friendly ! Now the food ! The best mushroom pizza I've ever had !! I don't drink alcohol but went here with some friends to eat . I'm a sucker for mushroom anything and well their fun guy truffle pizza was Devine, and the truffle parm fries were so good the whole table shared them ! The pizza was so good in fact that we ordered one to go before we left . Had a bite of my friends carnitas tacos and they were so very yummy too the pineapple was a nice addition to the taco . Can't wait to return ! read more

After looking for a reliable GF place to go and hung out after the concert with my family, we stopped at Craft Beer Market-Edmonton. The menu marked fries as GF, but the server later confirmed they share a fryer. So she offered me a salad, but they added a sauce I didn't ask for. My daughter couldn't finish her pasta (tasted terrible!), too much pepper and salt on almost everything we tried to eat and they took forever to bring us a "sample of ketchup" for my husband. I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, GF OR NOT. IT'S HORRIBLE: THE SERVICE, THE FOOD AND IT'S TOO LOUD!! UGH read more

Excellent selection of craft beers and solid menu of pub grub. Grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty. Service courteous if a little slow.

Seated us quickly and Jordan provided great service. We are traveling and craved veggies and not fried protein. Got the poke bowl and seared tuna salad. They were both a little spicy and delicious. Only downside is the seared tuna had some crunchy bits that were like chewing on pebbles. Luckily my teeth are intact. It made me laugh that you can pay by QR code on the bill but the waitress didn't know that. We all can learn something new! read more

Me and my wife wanted to try a new restaurant and I wanted to try some beer and then magically we found craft which is a great place for dates or just to get together. Me and my wife had the parmesan truffle fries and she had a burger and I had a pasta that I both forgot the name of, but the service was amazing for a late night dinner it was about 9-10 pm and the service was still amazing but we did found out that ginger beer is nasty read more

Food was crappy. Service was indifferent. I ordered the most expensive menu item steak - totally terrible. Steak was tiny. Stringy. The smashed potatoes were flavourless. No one asked us how it was. Crap. The whole thing was crap. The only thing that was good was the kale salad that came with it. The bread was okay too. Not sure what else to say about this place but to avoid it if you want a quality of food. For 32 bucks I should have a tiny stringy piece of steak that I have to chew and chew and chew. A group of five of us came in for a between meeting beer. It was 4:30pm on a Friday and was already busy. We sat inside because it was a 45 minute wait for the patio. 3.5 - This place was on a recommended list for things to do in Edmonton so we tried out for lunch. We got a flight (6 samples) of local beers and shared some apps. Food was good, beer was fine. Was it the best food I've ever had? No but it was satisfactory. Here's the negative: the bathrooms are downstairs. There isn't an elevator nor another bathroom upstairs (that I saw). Anyone with a disability could have trouble going down the stairs to the bathroom and that isn't ok. If I'm mistaken, I apologize. read more

Came here for a Sunday brunch as I have a downtown dining pass through Explore Edmonton which had a 2 4 1 brunch coupon. The cocktails were good, the ambiance was amazing, the music was spot on, the lights were sparking, and the Christmas was flowing! You Just slip out the back, Jack Make a new plan, Stan You don't need to be coy, Roy There must be fifty ways To leave your lover Paul Simon had a very catchy song about the 50 ways to leave your lover. Well Edmonton's CRAFT Beer Market does that song one better by describing the 100 ways you can leave your thirst behind at their gigantic bar/restaurant. You see, they have 100 beers on tap! They bill themselves as "Canada's Largest Selection of Draft Beer" and who can argue with that? Their beer list is meticulously divided into genres of beer - Ales, Pub Cream Ales, Scottish Ales, Saisons, Blonde & Kölsch Ales, Amber & Red Ales, Black & Brown Ales, Pale Ales, India Ales, Strong Ales / Trappist, Stouts & Porters, Light Lagers, Pale Lagers, Pilsners, Session Ales, Gluten-Free, Fruit & Specialties, Sour Ales & Lambics, Ciders, and over a dozen rotating locals. They have super sweet Hoppy Hours (Monday to Friday from 3-6pm, Sunday to Thursday 9pm - close, and all say Sunday) with bargains like $4 Local Drafts, $4 House Wines, $4 Highballs, $3 Beer Fries, $3 Fish Tacos and $3 Brisket Sliders. I had one of those Hoppy Hour Specials and for $4 it was a helluva buy - a Wood Buffalo Babe Blueberry Vanilla Ale described as a "landmark beer for the new country frontier. This is a drinkable golden ale with local blueberries and hints of vanilla, the perfect beer for a new generation of drinkers". At 4.5% ABV, it was pretty sneaky, but two of them did the trick. For dinner, we both chose from the bowl portion of the menu - a $16.50 House Made Bolognese "Naturally raised beef and pork simmered with tomatoes and herbs served on a bed of garganelli pasta finished with Grana Padano" and a $19.00 Ahi Poke Bowl - "sashimi grade ahi tuna with cucumber, pickled carrots, avocado chunks, seaweed, fresh ginger and togarashi aioli all stacked on top of steamed rice and sesame seeds". My Ahi was delicious- a generous portion of sashimi with fresh vegetables and rice. One of the reasons we enjoyed our meal so much was our delightful server Lindsay, who was an informative wealth of knowledge about the beer list, the Happy Hour details, and the dessert options. She was downright evangelical in her praises for the Butterscotch Budino (Rich creamy Italian style pudding topped with crispy rice wafers and shaved chocolate for $9} that we had to try it. Lindsay was right on the money, the dish was so delicious and the rice wafers dipped in the pudding could have been a controlled substance. Combining the beer choices, the nice Happy Hour, the large food menu, and great service from Lindsay, made this a wonderfully enjoyable dinner. read more

My brother and I decided to check this place out because we were looking for a roof top patio to enjoy a few drinks and lunch at. We initially were put on the wait list for the patio but it didn't take long for our table to become available. While we were waiting in our temporary spot, we ordered from their rotating tap beer menu and it took around 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We got notified that our table on the patio was ready 5 minutes after ordering our drinks, but we waited for another 10 minutes for our server to come back with our tap beers so we could pay for / take them up to the patio. Our server was polite and they were honest about what they have or haven't tried but did offer recommendations! After that, the experience was seamless. Our patio server was laidback even though they were busy, They were always on it! The patio bar set up was so cute. We ordered the Hawaiian Ahi Poke Bowl and shared an order of Beer Salt & Pepper Wings. The ahi tuna was fresh and light, but could have done with a bit more garnishing of sauces. The wings were served hot and so juicy. Will definitely be coming back here. I hear the brunch menu is great too! read more

Staff are always friendly; Curtis, Elijah and Reeve make you feel right at home. Food is great quality, drinks are made well. A great place to watch a game or to have a meal. We dropped by Sunday afternoon for a bite and was seated at a table near the bar for lunch. The service was prompt and our waitress was very nice, checking in periodically to make sure we had everything. I shared a Mediterranean salad and the Baja tacos (FYI the baja taco appetizer and main is the same except that the main comes with a side) with a local flight of beer to wash it all down. They were nice enough to split the salad onto two plates for us, even without us asking! The salad was filling and hearty, but I noticed that there was only one piece of roasted cauliflower on each plate.... which was sad because I was looking forward to it. I liked the spice blend on the fish for the tacos, which made the otherwise simple taco more interesting. If you are visiting, I would recommend the local beer flight! A simple way to try out some of the local brews. read more

Came to CRAFT Beer Market last night for the first time for their soft opening. The staff were friendly and while numerous mistakes made, it's expected and the place was jam packed to capacity. What I liked: Several levels including a patio roof top if you feel like going up a dozen flights of stairs ;-) The second level bar/lounge area had lots of comfortable seating and even booths that overlook the main floor. That atmosphere was perfect for a downtown place to grab a few drinks and have some awesome local food, too! Open, airy, modern but still loads of brick and wood beams. Definitely my kind of place :-) A fish taco station was set up and I must say that the house made CRAFT hot sauce was spot on! I think the slaw/fish could use a little more seasoning. My favourite was the Ahi Poke Tuna! The sashimi grade tuna was complimented perfectly by the house made ginger soy vinegarette - YUMMY! Served up with a side of crispy wontons - delish! We will definitely be repeating this appetizer. The house jalapeno cheddar ale soup was delish! Refresh cocktail - simple syrup, cucumber, Hmmm... I wish I could remember the rest! It was exactly as described - Refreshing. Their hours: Mon 11:00 am - 1:00 am Tue 11:00 am - 1:00 am Wed 11:00 am - 2:00 am Thu 11:00 am - 2:00 am Fri 11:00 am - 2:00 am Sat 10:00 am - 2:00 am Sun 10:00 am - 12:00 am Yes, please! We definitely need some more late night downtown Edmonton options :-) Their website indicates they offer a Beer Club where you get a card stamped when you try different beers. They offer daily specials for both eats and drinks! What I didn't like so much: Our table also ordered the barrel of nachos - overpriced with not a whole lot of toppings. I think there was more empty spaces on the chips than not :-( The house "Canadian" maple & bacon wings (recommended by our server) really lacked in flavor. I know! Hey, how is that possible? I don't know but all 4 of us were not impressed. The house martini - pineapple and pear oddly enough didn't taste very much like fruit to my date and myself. Same goes for the Big Kid Lemonade - I wouldn't have guessed that it had lemonade in it at all! Diablo Ceasor - While it comes with skewered peppers and a green olive, that's where the kick stopped. With a name like Diablo, I was looking for some heat. And I know this totally isn't fair, but I'm not a beer drinker. I imagine if you like beer, this is gonna be your place! They offer dozens upon dozens of craft beers and specialty drinks like beer cocktails and beer floats! That's right! I said floats :-) Overall, it was a successful night with numerous bites and drinks I'll be stopping by again to try in no time! They have a GREAT website, take reservations, and even offer family friendly brunch on the weekend! It was quite loud when we were there and noise does seem to carry but then again there wasn't a seat left in the house. http://edmonton.craftbeermarket.ca/ read more

Service: Appalling. Sat at the bar late on a Friday but there were 4 behind the bar, none of which could be bothered to help for anything after the initial drink order. Much more concerned with each other and the ticket machine. Food: Good. As you'd expect from a new style gastro pub. Prosciutto and chicken flatbreads hit the spot. After more than 10 mins of the bar staff missing/ignoring our gestures or simply not bothering to come to our side of the bar, ordered from restaurant staff. Summary: Food met expectations. Good beer selection. Bar staff that can't be bothered with customers. read more

Came here for a special event at the end of February - the vegan dinner & beer pairing, which they've hosted for a couple of years in a row now. It's a 4-course meal with a beer pairing for each course, tickets sold out pretty quickly so keep your eyes open for next year! There was a roast onion wedge with vegan pesto to nibble on before the meal, then onion soup with vegan bacon; braised mushroom on a lentil and farro fritter; curried squash and legumes; and a chocolate peanut butter pie to finish. Hadn't been here before and it's a nice place, very big and clean and modern, with lots of space. I imagine it must get pretty loud on busy evenings, but we had the whole upstairs room for the event and on a Tuesday it was a reasonable volume. I can't judge their normal food quality since this was a special event, and I'm not actually a vegan so I also can't judge well by vegan standards, but the food was pretty tasty. The soup was a bit over-salted and the stew was a bit bland, but the mushroom and fritter was delicious and the balance of different vegetables in all the dishes was well chosen. The "chocolate peanut butter pie" was a bit of a mystery, since it was not a pie at all, but more like a small bowl with chocolate cookie crumbles in the bottom and a peanut butter sauce on top... in fact, there was nothing pie-like about it. It was still pretty tasty, but maybe call it a crumble or something like that? Anyway, I wasn't totally blown away but I also know vegan cooking's quite challenging and I'd still come back sometime to try their regular menu, which I imagine would be even better. read more

We came here for beers and supper and because they have a roof top patio. For apitizers we has fried pickles, hot cauliflower bites and Molly had the 3 little tacos. The cauliflower was one of the most elaborate versions of the dish with a coating and a spicy sauce. Pickles and tacos were also good. For supper, I had 3 street tacos, beef type. Ken had a burger and Molly had a big bowl of something. They reported their stuff was good. My tacos were great. I ordered a kale ceaser to go with it. It tasted OK, but apparently I don't like the texture of kale. To drink, we had some pints of the light lager made for the bar (forget what they called it). It was light and refreshing and went down well on a hot day on the roof. read more

Glad we made reservations on a weekday for lunch as we arrived at 11:45 and there was a long stream of people behind us. They even called the day before to confirm our reservation. They were going to seat us in the restaurant but we wanted to enjoy the sunshine on the roof top patio so it was good there was still room. here's a few flights of stairs but it was worth it to be outside. We choose a table that wasn't directly in the sun. There were 3 of us and our colleague was running late and we waited about half an hour for him. The server was great to get us our drinks and let us take our time until our colleague joined us. I'm not a beer drinker but the others were and they both enjoyed the beers from what seemed like a large selection. Once our colleague arrived, we placed our order. Being a fan of seafood, I decided to try the crab cake sliders for $12 while the others had burgers and a kale salad. The food didn't take too long to arrive which was great as we didn't have much time to eat. The 3 sliders were small and didn't come with a side but still were satisfying at it wasn't deep fried and terribly greasy. My colleagues enjoyed their meals. The burgers looked very big and came with lots of fries. Wished we cold spend the whole afternoon on the roof top patio and enjoy the weather but we all had to head back to the office. Would definitely be back to try something else off the menu and eat on the patio! read more

Craft beer brew belly. I think it's a thing. I'm pretty sure I have one. What better place to nourish my beer baby than at CRAFT? After a double date dinner, at my request, my Canadian party took me out to CRAFT so that I could try some local brews. To maximize my tasting options, I ordered the Canadian flight. I was really surprised by some selections (namely a tea beer whose name I cannot recall), but loved them all. I also got to try Innis & Gunn, a favorite of my friend's that we cannot find locally in California, and it was delicious as well. CRAFT is not shy about displaying their kegs and variety, and it is amazing. The space is lofty and open, however it does get a bit noisy and difficult to hold conversation. I'd love to come back here to grab some more local brews and try out the food next time I'm in town. See you then, CRAFT! read more

Wow, Craft Beer Market kills it everytime!!! I brought my dad in to check the place out this afternoon after the Oilers game. When we walked in, there was a 20-30 minute wait. That's okay, we just took a spot at the bar instead. Oh where to start, there are so many options on tap! I believe there are about 100 or so to choose from (my go to is always the Peach Cider). It took a little while for the bartender to come back around and take our food order, but after we did order we had our meal in under 5 minutes - we just couldn't believe it! I can't wait until my next visit (hopefully sooner rather than later), and needless to say my dad loved it here too. read more

We were fan enough to visit the Craft Beer House 3 separate times(!) during our short 5-day visit to Edmonton. So yeah, we went here a lot! Food is decent and good for the most part. Nothing that will blow you out of the water-- portions are more filling than initially thought. Fries tend to be a little salty. The nachos will stir up a scene because it's served on a beer keg top (no other way to describe this) but it's also a little on the thin side with cheese-- same goes for the poutine. Reasons to go: 1) convenience and reliability to handle bigger groups 2) great decor and ambiance 3) rooftop brunch yoga read more

An unexpected change of plans ended up being awesome. Yay for businesses who are open on a holiday Monday! Boo for downtown construction making it really tough to get around. Like I said, we had plans to try a different restaurant (who's social media account & website stated they were open) only to find out they were closed. Their loss, because the Craft Beer Market is going to be a new favourite for us! From the moment you walk in you get that warm and welcoming vibe. The layout is very open, but there's some huge, cozy booths available that give a bit more privacy. We were seated immediately and began the arduous task of choosing a delicious beverage. Since I like to drink and hubby needs to drive we shared a 6 pack sampler (local I believe). There wasn't a beer on that paddle that I didn't like. Mmmm, I love the smell of hops in the morning...err afternoon. Hubby ordered deep fried pickles and cheddar jalapeño soup. Both items were hot, fresh & tasty. No complaints from him. I had the Yucatan Chicken salad with prawns instead of chicken. It was delicious, and not over-dressed with lots of tasty ingredients. The black beans in the salad were slightly tough/dry, but I ate them anyway. Our waitress was great, attentive but not imposing. After we paid the bill and got up to leave, I was pleasantly surprised that every single staff member we walked by said goodbye/see you again to us. Nice!!! I really appreciated that this business is doing good things like their Community Brew and using green energy. Bravo! We will be back!!! And we're bringing friends/family next time. read more

The good: The poutine was a side to our sandwich, but it the gravy was as good as any poutine gravy I've had. Friendly bartenders glad to let us sample a couple beers and give us some advice from their large beer selection. My partner and I came here after the X warrior run which fortunately was on my birthday! Free beer tickets so hells ya! I have never wanted to venture out in downtown for drinks because of parking but we were able to find parking in the parkade easily on a Saturday around noon time. We walked in and I love how big and spacious the place was. We got seated immediately and it was a nice roomy table for the 2 of us. The beer menu... Omg... What an extensive list of different beer on tap! I was so happy to find my favorite beer on tap, hoegaarden with the giant glass. My partner I think he ordered Keith, unfortunately he's not adventurous with beer unlike myself. I honestly wanted to try the different types but after a race I can't drink too much alcohol.
