They do have a strict policy about calling ahead of time if you're going to be late dropping your child off (due to staffing reasons, as it was explained to me). I imagine that they probably need to be rigid about certain policies like that since they have such a large number of attendees and are also obligated to follow state law (# of kids : # of care providers). I would recommend Kid Kountry to anyone looking for care for their kiddo.

She has a piano on which she sometimes plays for the kids; they too have a tiny piano to play on. There is a room for them to play cooking and adventure in. It's a rich, engaging environment at The Greenhouse. Jan manages the kids in a very steady way. I think this helps them learn interpersonal skills like how to share and how to ask their turn. The kids enjoy mealtime there - she prepares nutritious meals that the children like. This month our son's kindergarten teacher told us how he pointed out that a certain shape was a rhombus. She said this was rare and she asked where he had gone to preschool. When we told her he went to Jan Green's The Greenhouse For Kids, she said, "Well, tell Jan she did a good job!" That is a great testimonial for how Jan helped him develop. We had experience at another preschool/daycare, and can attest The Greenhouse really shines. It's disappointing, to say the least, and in a post COVID world I think it's crazy to still think that way. And I think the Y doesn't recall that they are supposed to be Christian.... It's right there in the name guys.
