BEWARE OF THEIR 5-STAR REVIEWS--THEY GET THEM BY GIVING DISCOUNTS TO CUSTOMERS…read more This shop does not stand by their work, and the staff will constantly talk over you to make their point. I initially went in because my gas gauge always showed "E". They ran a diagnostic, told me my fuel pump was bad, and charged me $195+repairs. When I asked if they found anything else wrong, they said they didn't look at anything else. Denis told me that because I only asked to fix the gas gauge, that was all he ran the diagnostic for. I thought that was a huge red flag. After they dropped the gas tank, they realized the wiring going to the pump was actually broken. They told me they fixed the wiring problem and that I could pick the car up. The very next day, the car wouldn't start, and absolutely none of the electrical in the car worked. Before bringing it to this shop, the car started and drove perfectly fine. In fact, it had just passed a 23-point inspection at AAA with zero electrical issues noted (only the gas pump was marked, but AAA was booked out and I needed my car to get my kids to school). When I took the car back, Denis just talked over me. He even got someone else on the phone to do the same thing, both insisting that what they fixed wasn't the problem. I don't understand how a car works fine until they touch the electrical, and suddenly nothing works. I asked to see pictures of the work they did on the fuel pump, but they couldn't show me anything. When I explained my suspicion that the new issue was caused by the wiring job they just did, they wanted to charge me to check their own work AND told me I would have to pay for a second full diagnostic! When I pointed out they had just done a diagnostic, they started making excuses about my battery connectors and a missing fuse, claiming they couldn't do the diagnostic until I put a fuse back. It all ended with them telling me to leave the shop and not come back. It wasn't until I was literally driving away that Denis tried to "help," which was way too late. I am updating my previous Google review for this business. I originally left a good review because Denis was nice at the time and gave me a discount, but not anymore. All I wanted was for him to show me that the job was done right so we could move forward, but he couldn't do that. I will never bring another car here.

This is a 3rd car for me so I took it to 3 different mechanics and allowed the car to stay for "days". Nissan dealership has really been put to shame because as soon as they claimed they couldnt duplicate the issue, the car stalled on me when I picked up my vehicle. I took my car to Roseville Auto & Lube and I just want to say the "customer service" was excellent. Chris, his son, Tune and everyone else was A-MAZ-ING. Chris was so confident of what the issue was and what he wanted to do to fix it. I will for sure adopt this team to be my primary mechanic, and share the news with others!

Christopher, thank you for the reply. As I mentioned, the person I spoke to over the phone, who…read moredefinitely informed me that you don't do diagnostics or repairs on any SMART cars, only smogs and lubes, identified himself as the service manager. Now that he may have been dishonest with both of us, I wish I'd gotten his name. I made it clear when he and I spoke that the car in question was not electric. Sir, I had no reason to stretch the truth about what I was told or who I spoke to. You guys were really good to me before, as evidenced by my previous 5 star review. This doesn't matter, but this SMART car belonged to my best friend's mother who literally died the day before. My friend was in town from across the country and I was just taking care of this car so that she would have one less shitty thing to deal with. Don't you think I would have preferred to tow it to a reasonably priced local shop that I already had great experiences with versus having it towed to the outrageously priced Mercedes dealership so they could dry fuck my bestie with the dead mother, who was here from 2000 miles away with no other help or family? Please. You could have, and should still, skip the reply and just update your website to reflect the work that you actually do, which I guess is SMART cars, but not electric ones.
