We had about 12 people in our class, most of them taking the class as a requirement for their job (like me, too). We powered through all of the modules without breaks (we all agreed on this, of course) and were done an hour earlier! It will take you half a day to complete the course. You will do exercises (wrapping a bandage, CPR, AED operation and more tasks) but there is no written test for certification, just participation. My colleague and I walked out feeling more confident and equipped to handle situations that could arise at work (we deal with the public when we are open, so it is a requirement on our employer to take the class). I will sign up again when I have to re-certify in two years with this company.

He did a lot of demonstration and then we had a chance to work on the mannequins. I came away from the class feeling like I have what it takes to perform CPR on a person in distress. He also taught us a lot about First Aid. So all in all, I now feel very equipped with skills in CPR and First Aid. He is an excellent person to take the course from because he is a former captain in the fire department. It can't get much better than this! He is someone who has performed CPR on many, many people over the years, and responded to a lot of 911 emergencies. You can't go wrong with taking a course from a professional like him! I could never piece together all the information well enough to make sense of what I do had to in the moment. Skip was able to condense the information into a learnable and retainable format that works for even the average person. He also adds additional education to the course so that you come away understanding how people respond to stress and tips on how to stay calm so that both you and your patient are safe and healthy. The area is huge, yet well maintained and the management is constantly trying to improve their processes with ideas of bringing a computer learning room, sports classes for interested kids in pipeline. A big shoutout to the new owner Nikita and the wonderful teachers trying their best to take care of the kids , making them learn new things with fun activities. My kid loves eating the food there with his friends. They also offer school pick up's for some schools. Highly recommend !

The owner lies repeatedly and discusses confidential information with other parents. My child has reported disturbing things to myself and my spouse that have happened here and, yes, it has been reported. The owner of this establishment has intimidated the staff into covering up issues, so to hell with them being mandated reporters, it is our responsibility as parents to speak up for what has happened. Please be sure to do your homework on investigating daycares before placing your child in their care. Be sure to look up complaints filed with the Department of Social Services, just because they are unsubstantiated does not mean they did not happen, they just could not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. To the other parents who have pulled their children out for similar issues, please speak up, otherwise it will continue to happen!
