He takes his time in making sure that you are fully aware of the process when filing with him. He took the time to reach out to me today in regards to my negative review. We spent a great amount of time talking through the details and that's respected of him. I applaud his concern for reaching out to me. There wasn't much that he could do in regards to my taxes that were filed late but he did explain their process. I do believe him to be a fair, honest and just business owner. For that reason I would say see Terry and his team. Be sure to keep an open line of communication with them and you will be pleased. Five stars for the firm for Terry's concerns.

I have to agree with the other reviews…read more My experience with this office left me feeling ripped off and very taken advantage of. I was given no invoice and had to make numerous request to get one. He finally did send an invoice and it makes no sense. He billed me 2137.50 for what he says is a total of 57 emails that he says took 14.25 hours of time??? This does not match up to my email records? Many of those emails were me having to keep requesting an invoice. As said in a previous review...he DOES seem to create and use various billing tactics and bill out independent people that work at home and will want to call and keep you on the phone as long as possible so they can bill you. When speaking with other tax prep people, they have choked when I told them what I was charged to complete very simple tax docs. I was also told by Jim that if he didn't "rush" my taxes it would take a YEAR to prep them???? I did not go to this office with a box of receipts and leave it to them to organize my info. I had all my information organized. These were taxes for a business that is not even open yet with the only revenue being less than 65,000 in rent? I am sure he will respond with "how difficult her situation was" and blah blah blah and we have to know what we submit is correct(like in other responses)...like that is not what ALL CPA's and Accountants do. I see that the normal responses to negative reviews about this office are met with "we can't find you in our records". This is a very laughable response. Ok...these people are just leaving bad reviews for you for no reason and they have not had any dealings with you? Save yourself time, money and headaches. Go deal with an accountant that is not out to rip people off. I wish I had read the reviews before I got involved with them. BEWARE!!!!!!

I used Gundersdorf for several years until I started dating an accountant who informed me I was being taken advantage of by Gundersdorf. Everything from the prices, failure to provide information on how I was being billed, and continued missed deadlines (2-4 months passed promised filing date). I find the practices of this company to be unethical and of low professional standards. I would not recommend you conducting business with them.
