They just opened…read morethis location downtown and so the hubby decided to surprise me with some macarons since he was in the neighborhood. He mentioned that it looked like they were making them fresh on location! Bonus!! He brought home a mixture of different flavors he thought I'd enjoy. Dulce de leche & puffed quinoa, salted caramel, pistachio, brownie, cappuccino, coconut and cinnamon and vanilla. They were all amazing, and super fresh, that I seriously cannot pick a favorite, they were seriously sooooo good! Totally worth the calories ;) If you are a macaron lover, you have to add this to your list of places! I really do not think you can get any better than this in Ottawa. P.s. They have two other locations in the city: Richmond Road and Montreal Road.

My Father and I attended the Vietnamese class recently and found the 3 hour long class to be great…read morevalue for our money. First the food was wonderful and the instruction clear. Second the knowledge provided on actual Technics was invaluable, from simple knife work advice to use of a loose tea holder for spices for Pho. Third the advice on where to find some hard to find ingredients was also very much helpful. Pens and recipes are provided so if you take notes finding the right brand of coconut milk is't that hard. We are signing up for another class in March and hopefully arrange a cooking party with friends sometime in the spring.
