I called and made a reservation for my small dog here over a week ago. I got all the information…read moreFrom the associate I spoke to over the phone including pricing, we discussed that he would only be there for a half day arriving around noon, and I was given pricing for that, I left my name and the dogs information and was told I was all set. We drove from Colorado Springs for 4 hours to the pet resort, with just enough time to make it for our whitewater rafting appointment. When I got there, I was told that I had no reservation, that they were completely full and that because I didn't send his vaccine records, which I was never told to do, that he could not stay there. I told them I was going to lose hundreds of dollars on my rafting reservation, they did not care at all. They barely gave me other places I could call, and of course the ones that they gave me were full since it was now day of. This facility had no remorse, didn't care that they put me in a bind and were making me lose hundreds of dollars not to mention and an experience I was really looking forward to. I was told that they had recent staffing changes and that was likely the cause of the error, yet they still did nothing to accommodate me! Don't make reservations here if you want your dog to actually go to doggie daycare! Thanks for making me lose a lot of money, I will be spreading the word in multiple locations!

In the past we've had house/dog sitters when we left town. Then we got ring camera and realized…read morethat some of our house sitters didn't interact with our dog. One house sitter never stayed at our house and only came over for 5 minutes daily to feed our dog. We have a doggy door so our dog always had access to the outdoors. On one occasion, I arranged a friend to pick him up to stay at her home for a week but she picked him up one day late so our dog went without food for a day. Our dog was very lonely when we're gone so we arranged for his first overnight stay at Dog Holliday's when we left town in September. He was distressed when we left him but was very happy while he was there. Josh kindly texted us photos and reports while we were gone. We now take our dog to Dog Holliday's about once a week for a play date. He loves it so much, he drags me in and is all smiles unlike when I take him to the vet. I can also see a positive difference in his interactions with other dogs when he meets them for the first time on trails (less pestering). I definitely plan to take him to Dog Holliday's for short overnight stays. For the lengthy times that we're gone and require a house sitter, I plan to ask the sitter to bring our dog to Dog Holliday's during the day to ensure he has lots of fun time while we are away.

I called late, like 9pm last night from my cell in an RV park not too far away. They were willing to travel to me but I ended up going to the. They readily agreed to put my dog to sleep in my RV so he wasn't scared. They let me feed Cargo tons of treats and a raw steak before. She listened to his heart and confirmed it was failing again. And they let me hold him and talk to him as long as I wanted. We talked about the breed and how he was incredibly lucky to like 13 years as Weimaraner's tend to like roughly 11years. Although I don't remember the names, they were sisters and the tech gave me a big hug afterwards as I was uncontrollably sobbing. They were patient and kind and gracious to a stranger who was passing through taking her best friend on one last road trip. Although the outcome was not what I wanted, they treated us with dignity and i cannot ask for anything more

They were able to get me in quickly. Prices were very reasonable and all of the staff was extra friendly. Highly recommend stopping here!

But also everyone was booked out so far out and Pico was just not having it with all his fur and the heat. Thankfully shaggy dog was so accommodating and just great! I asked them if they could just take as much off just so my little fur baby would be comfortable, honestly I was expecting him to look a little weird but once I got there he looked super cute and even though this was his first grooming sesh he came out great! Overall I am supper happy with how kind they were and helped us along our first grooming sesh

WARNING. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. ANIMAL ABUSE. I took my collie mix here for the first time since…read moremoving to the valley from Denver. I have never had an issue with grooming. I took my dog, Murphy, in to just get brushed out and washed and have a few of her tangles brushed out. This dog is not severly matted in any way. I very regulalry brush her and bathe her. I asked Angela to just brush out any tangles and trim the fur on her hindqurters and get her looking fresh! After dropping Murphy off I got a call asking me to sign a "Red Flag Waiver" for dogs that are severely matted and need to have matts shaved out in case of injury. I told her over the phone to NOT use any shaving device on my animal. Muph has had the same level of tangles when I have taken her to a trusted groomer in denver and NEVER have I been asked to sign a waiver or have they asked me to shave the dog. I told Angela to not shave the dog but to just lightly cut out any matts that needed to be cut out before brushing them out. I get a call shortly after to Angela telling me she had cut Murphy's ear and it had bled really badly and she had called a few vets. I was shocked. I Immediately went to get the dog and Angela handed me the fur matt she had cut off of Murphy's head. She did not just cut this animal. She actually scalped this animal. The gash was red and wide and straight to her head. I have never seen anything like this. For something like this to happen makes absolutely no sense to me. Angela immediately took a photo of the fur clump for her "own records" and told me the matt was so close to her head that she couldnt help but cut her. This is not true. Nothing excuses knowingly cutting an animal. This cut was negligent. I immediately took Murphy to Carbondale Animal Hospital where they had to sedate her under Anetheisia and give her stitches to fix the wound. She will be in a cone for two weeks. Angela asked me to follow up with her and let me know how Murphy was doing so I gave her a call back. I told her the severity of the situation and let her know I would like her to take responsibility for the vet bills. She immediately gaslit me and told me that when she called me and I told her not to shave the dog - that I gave her verbal consent to use scissors on my dog and hurt her. She has refused to take responsibility for this traumatic experience. DO NOT COME HERE. SHE IS ABUSING ANIMALS.

Maybe you have good insurance that will cover the whiplash you'll surely get if you're lucky enough to experience both his sides. My first phone call with Ted couldn't have gone better. He was friendly, easy to talk to, clearly communicated the important details about doing business with him, and his voice was full of joy when talking about his experiences with dogs at his place. I ended the conversation sure that I had found the absolute best place for my dog to stay while traveling. My second phone call a few days later was exactly the opposite. I called to ask three simple questions, questions that all the other kennels I've called answered with no problem. (For those curious, the questions were about how to modify my reservation on the antiquated reservation system and two follow up questions from our previous conversation about what to bring with my dog.) I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior. Interrupting, talking over me, insisting I was saying things that I was not, threatening to cancel my reservation if I didn't stop "being a problem". Needless to say I will never be boarding my dog here. Ted, do you have an evil twin that is trying to ruin your business?

So, I did his one month board and train starting the new year in January and picked my boy up in February. Not only did my dog still have not the slightest clue on how to walk on a leash, he also had NO basic obedience skills training. When I got my dog home, we discovered his groin area covered in scabs. After a couple days of warm baths and hydrogen peroxide over the area, his scabs came off revealing puncture wounds. He was bitten by something where he was being kept. Ted had said my dog would be kept comfortable in his home. Since my dog's feet were stained yellow and he had some type of bite, he was apparently put somewhere and kept where he was totally neglected. I had a number of friends and family planning on taking their dogs to Ted for training but waiting to see how my little guy did first before they made that kind of investment. Not only have they changed their minds, but they are also letting everyone they know of my experience. Absolute scam! My dog was abused and I will be reporting my experience to everyone I come across and filing formal complaints. I'm an honorably discharged combat veteran and have worked very hard only to have my money stolen and my dog harmed. This minor yelp review is only the beginning. Hopefully, it will save someone else money, time and heartache. I have a sinking feeling I am not the only person who has been harmed by this so called trainer. Hopefully, I will be the last.
