The restaurant design is vibrant and colorful, and the laid-back minimalist approach allows diners to focus on the food and flavors. The restaurant has an open terrace with cool metal bistro tables, and an interior dining area features rectangular tables and bench seating. I started with crispy artisan tortilla chips topped with freshly made guacamole. The cool, creamy guacamole was perfectly seasoned with red onion and cilantro. I accompanied it with a glass of Michelada, a traditional Mexican drink made with beer, lime juice, and peppers. I love the way the salt on the rim brings out the spices in the drink. Cool and refreshing, the drink was delicious. Taco & Burro Maya has so many delicious tacos, that it's hard to choose. I settled on Chicken Tinga taco, with tender chicken breast in chipotle sauce, wrapped in a soft shell, along with Cochinita Maya taco, the same soft shell filled with juicy leg of pork macerated in achiote sauce with purple onion.
