My appointment was cancelled during my appointment window. I called to see why it was cancelled. I was told that the technician came by and knocked. No one answered and he heard someone vacuuming. False! A blatant lie that Cox allow their employees to get away with. They refused to send a technician back because "he was already at his next appointment". The service is crap also. I moved in my home in Nov and we are constantly dealing with outages. Im praying we get another major cable provider in this area soon. I would switch without hesitation. read more

I was visiting the Philippines last month and they didn't allow me to log into my cox account to pay my bill. They kept telling me to "find the crosswalk" like it was some sort of sick game and when I did, they told me to change my password, which I proceeded to do over 3 times. In the end, I was still not allowed to pay my bills online, so I had to contact my father back in Georgia to physically go into the store to pay for the bill. I'd give them 0 out of 5 stars if possible. read more

Cox Communications has bad technicians that come to businesses for service. This one particular technician is rude and disrespectful. He must not like women because he certainly does not how to treat female customers. Also, it has taken 2 weeks to resolve a problem with our phone lines and fax service. I have called everyday to only get a different customer service representative and have to explain my problem all over again. I specifically ask not to have the previous service technician to call or come to my office and he was the one dispatched anyway. I ask several representatives what his name was so I would have specifics for a complaint, however all representatives "did not know his name" which is odd due to the fact that you record all conversations and take notes. Cox your service is far from excellent and the price is not good either for the level of service businesses receive. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would. This place is horrible. Hutch who use to work at this store was the only reason it functioned. I've called 8-10 times over a month and no answer. I've had no internet for over a month because I moved. I don't even know what the problem is and why I don't have my services. Ridiculous.... Would never recommend. I have had the worst experience with this company. I decided to get cox Homelife services installed in my home at the beginning of the year. Well I'm July my circuit board was damaged in an electrical storm, so I called cox to get someone to come out and repair the system. It took a couple of weeks to get a technician out, they say "do to Covid". Ok fine. The technician was unable to resolve the issue and told me that I needed to call back and schedule another appointment after I talked to their sales department...well I didn't really understand but ok...so I called sales and sales didn't understand why I needed to talk to them so they sent me back to technical support...well after going back and forth for a while I got another appointment set...well guess what...cox canceled my appointment after I sat at home and waited all day for them to show..so I called them again to get someone out to fix my service...they set up another appointment and then canceled on me again...this happened two more times to me...so I finally went up to the store, talked to the manager in person and I was assured that he would get this resolved for me..I waited two more weeks to hear back from the manager...NOTHING, once again...so I called again...was transferred several times again explaining my story over and over and over again to idk how many people by this point...I am so frustrated by this point I'm literally sick to my stomach for the time that I have wasted with these people... I am a single mother with two kids and I work 12 hour shifts at a hospital, my time is very valuable to me...and it has been like a second job trying to get my system fixed through cox... So finally, I just don't want to deal with this company anymore. I think anyone can understand where I'm coming from by now...I asked to cancel my services without penalty to me due to me being under contract with them...keep in mind, this started in July and it is now almost October...Well the guy I spoke to was rude, didn't care to resolve my problem and said that he's be happy to charge me over $500 to cancel my service...why should I have to pay them anything for what I've been put through and I'm not getting the service I was promised. He decided to be a smart ass to me and asked me if I knew that their was a pandemic going on right now...he also said that technicians weren't going out to peoples homes right now due to that...well Sir, I do know about the pandemic, everyone knows about the pandemic...I'm also in the medical field and I work with covid positive patients...also, it is now almost October...the pandemic peaked months ago...also the fact that you don't have technicians going out to homes is a lie...so not only does cox not know how to take care of their existing customers, they are rude and they lie....I'm done cox!
