There is a small car park at the rear of the surgery and also a huge car park around the back of the good news centre which is opposite to the surgery. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to support you through issues. they have a very usefull out of hours automated phone service so you can book and cancel appointments at awkward times of the day. They have a small play area for children to play in while waiting for appointments and also their own pharmacy

my old doctor he was. this surgery has 5 doctors and a…read morenurse. the staff are very helpful and will do there best to help solve any problems. me i went in 10 yrs ago and said i was not that well, 1 hr later i was in hospital for diabetes i stayed for 5 nights as i did not realize how bad i was. as i was on the heart ward. luck to be here and very grateful to Dr clegg for his help. its based on Burton road next to the cricket pitch there is a car park but it can get quiet full and people park on the grass verge in front of the cricket pitch. as woodville is getting bigger places are getting tight as they are now only taking patients from woodville only now.

I was just at The Hollies this morning. It's been my NHS Surgery for nearly two years now, and…read moretoday was my first slightly negative experience with it. Not being a morning person, I still had to jump at the chance of being offered an appointment within two days of ringing up -- albeit at 8:45am. (Inner monologue: "Oh dear god, what do the hands of a clock look like that early?") Unfortunately, the receptionist had made a mistake, and didn't have a record of my appointment. I was offered an appointment for tomorrow, which I accepted. The GPs/doctors are all very friendly, with fine bedside manner. They often spend more than the typical doctor's two minutes listening to symptoms and recommending treatments. Though I'm not a hypochondriac (honestly, I don't own a single thermometer), I've been to the Surgery about half a dozen times in the past two years. I've always been seen straight away, with less than a five minute wait. The receptionists are all unfailingly polite and helpful -- not something most patients associate with the NHS! The Surgery itself is a bit dingy, and the building is dated. Unfortunately, there is no parking outside, and the only options are very poor street parking or dishing out £2 for the car park across the street. All in all, if one is sick, it's not a terrible place to end up.

Until very recently (about 1 year ago) this was the doctor's surgery I had been registered at since…read moreI was born! That's well over 30 years that Dr Gonsalves has been looking after me. Obviously I would recommend him as I'm still alive. The only reason I changed was so that I could be registered at the same place as my wife and son. No other reason for the switch after all this time. Aside from the GP services, which you probably wouldn't use unless you lived very locally, this practise is also a centre where you can get immunisations and injections for overseas travel. On two occasions in the last 5 years I've needed shots to go to various places. Being quite useless at organising such things I had left it late (too late, according to a well-known High Street chemist, wrongly, as it turned out) and on both occasions the surgery were able to get me booked in and sorted out with the relevant drugs. So, even if you don't live in B44 it is worth bearing in mind for travel purposes.
