This is the worst business I have ever encountered. Not sure how they're still in business. I took my wedding dress in 8-9 months ago. Went to pick it up after 3 months of waiting. Paid over $250 just for me to get home and it not to be cleaned at all. I returned it the next day to be actually cleaned and have waited 5 months since to get it back. They constantly made excuses as to why it wasn't done. They admitted to losing my dress and once they found it, it still wasn't cleaned. So I wanted to just pick it up and take it somewhere else. They refused to refund me and I'm out 9 months of my time and over $250. Just awful owner. So rude and unhelpful. read more

Do NOT use this business. I have tried for 3 months to pickup a suede jacket and they say they cannot find it. I have talked to the owner who promised to call me back, ( 2 other employees have also made call back promises). I have heard nothing. Same experience as others: very slow and incredibly poor service. I was told my shoes would be ready in 7-10 days. I called several times, was always told they had to order supplies, or some other excuse, but they would be done the next day and I would be called: I did not receive a single call back until two weeks ago, late on a Saturday afternoon. The said they were working on my shoes and I could pick them up in a couple of hours. I couldn't make it over that day and was out of town for the next several days. When I got home I went over and they couldn't find my shoes. They promised me a call the next day. I called twice this week, same old story! Imagine my surprise when I received a call today. Turned in my black lamb skin jacket and after a year it came back brown and green. I made a complaint to the Kansas Attorney General's office consumer protection division. The owner never sent any information that was requested by them, but since this was the second time of a complaint with no response the Better Business Bureau has completely dropped Cowboy Cleaners. read more

I have stopped in twice and called 4 or 5 times to get my very expensive cashmere sweater back. They have never called me and no one seems to know anything or even remember my name.It has been over 3 weeks since they told me they had to re do it. I get excuses like illness etc but still no results. What to do? I am new here but they were recommended to me. In all my years of using cleaners in Nebraska i never had anything like this. As of 12/18/2018 I still have not received a single call back from this company. I have called them at least twice in roughly 18 days and left my number. I tried being patient but waiting for 2.5 weeks and two calls later on a call that may never come....no thank you. October 27, 2018 I dropped off a pair of women's boots to be repaired and was told by the owner that it would be a week. More than three months later after repeated phone calls from me to the business and repeated visits by my husband and myself asking that my boots be returned I finally wrote a letter insisting that the boots be available for me to pick up the end of January, 2019, repaired or not. I go in on the last day of January to find my boots had been repaired and sitting there since December 18, 2018. The owner said she didn't receive my letter. That's what she said when I said my calls hadn't been returned. She never got my calls or messages either. No one called me. No one looked for the boots when my husband and I dropped by. No one returned my calls. This, hands down, has been the worst customer service experience in my life. I do NOT recommend Cowboy Cleaners. read more

I wish I would have read previous reviews before going there. Dropped off my daughter's clutch purse in June. Strap needed to be sewn. Started inquiring about it the week of July 8th. Said it was in Ellsworth being sewn. Checked again and again and it was always going to be on its way back from Ellsworth. Finally, I told them I just want the purse--I don't care if it is fixed or not. Have called at least weekly. No one could seem to tell me where the purse was or when it would it be back in the store. Today is August 12. Received a call it was there and proceeded immediately to the store. As I left I told a couple of people at the courthouse I was leaving and where I was going, and two of them said Cowboy Cleaners had lost their stuff too. Now have the purse in my possession. It is not fixed but at least I have it back. Now we can take it somewhere reputable. Please read all the reviews. I wish I had. It would have saved me a lot of grief! read more
