Principal Julie Hayes is very proud of her Primary School, and there are so many reasons she should be proud, I can easily understand it; she is not the sort of school Principal that tells you so readily why she is proud of the school though, she simply lists the amazing variety of activities her kids get into, and explains the thinking behind it.
That's where you see the pride she is brimming with, and in a strange sort of way you can tell she loves her school and her staff. It is a beautiful school, plenty of old trees proving decent shade, good buildings, a whole section of the school is dedicated to climate change awareness and another is a health facility set up for health checks including dental as well as a community space that can be used by the school community for a range of things, and the art work is stunning. They have a first people or aboriginal or indigenous component in the staff and you see it in the art work that is proudly placed all around the administration and foyer areas.
I was taken by the little snakes all the students had made at one point. Very cute.
If my kids were at the age where they'd be in Primary School I would long to send them here. read more
