It is a very different experience from the big theatre companies of Dallas, Houston, Vegas, Sacramento and such. It is a small house and all of the thespians are more than friendly. This is not a small time production company just because it is in a smaller venue. At the end of the show all of the cast and crew were easily accessible for autographs and general dialogue. Parking is a first come first serve and so is seating. In saying that, neither are an issue.

Such a nice out-of-the-way & off-the-beaten-path place for a theatre. I came here to see "39 Steps"…read moreseveral months ago. Last night I came with a group of other single ladies in the area, since they had an extra ticket for "Legally Blonde". It was weird that to check in to this location, I had to step outside. People were saying that the metal building blocks phone signals. But it was a wonderful play! It was difficult to get in & out of the parking lot, & it may get crowded out there. But I hope to go to other plays here!

Very disappointed with the bait and switch. And the food was just bad, along with comics who were at times pretty funny, but a little too much emphasis on trannies, butt you know what and their junk. Obvious talent wasted on low hanging crude jokes. But most of all, the change up did not make up for Alex being canceled who in my opinion was the main attraction.

After reporting this to the staff during the 1st act, we were told they are working on it. So Rodney comes out- we still can't hear anything. I speak with a lady named Tiffany. She was so rude and hateful that I asked to speak to a manager. She said she was the manager. I asked for a refund- she said no. We asked for other seats- but it was sold out. After I said we would just leave, this woman has the nerve to say 'have a nice trip home" with the rudest look on her face. I swear if she is management- she should be fired! I have sent the theater 3 emails asking them to make this right and I haven't heard one word! So in short- don't waste your time or money going here for any event. I believe most of its usage is usually musical artists and small intimate concerts, but I was here to see a play. Specifically, I was watching "A Christmas Carol", a work I have always been fond of for my entire life. This was a special one hour adaptation of the play, written by Dr Andrew Harris. We did not come to McKinney specifically to see the play, but while we were there we were looking for a particular bookstore. Tiny Tim was outside the Performing Arts Center drumming up people to come in and watch the play when my wife asked him (really her) where we would find the bookstore. When we got to the bookstore, wouldn't you know, there was Dr Harris, doing an Author/Writer visit. How could we not take that as a sign and attend the play! Glad we did, it was a great experience!
