The sellers where difficult, hard to reach, rude, and more. My Attorney Robert .R. was THEEEEE ABSOLUTELY BEST. He knew exactly how to handle another difficult lawyer RESPECTFULLY (WHEN I AT TIMES WANTED TO FLY OFF THE HANDLE) He even got me back funds the sellers was NOT trying to give me, plus more. He will respond in a timely fashion. He made me and my husband's experience awesome. We also worked with this office on a previous first attempt for a first time home that didn't go through (because of the seller, not this law firm) and that attorney was also very good. Robert .R. is respectful, knowledgeable and really there for his clients. He is informative and goes above and beyond for you. I would definitely refer him. I am not being paid to say this AT ALL. Buying a home is stressful and caused a lot of tension at times. Robert was able to be like (that gel pad in a good shoe, that keeps you comfortable and supports you) through-your experience of purchasing a home. I promise you you will not be disappointed with this firm AT ALL, ESPECIALLY Robert .R. He even helped me with my rental apartment case during me purchasing my first home, being i stayed in the apartment surpassing my leases expiration date. This was during COVID-19 and He was informative on what my rights was and how I should & could handle that situation. I mean he really went above and beyond for my family and myself. We even closed during a blizzard and he was there with us til the end. You won't be disappointed with this firm!!

We google searched and found Raymond and 2 other lawfirms. We called all 3 and the first office to call us back was Raymonds office. He had good review and seemed very knowledgable. We were not wrong. My wife sent him all the documents and information needed, it was a lot. Raymond promissed that with in 7 days this will be done and the a Writ of Mandamus will be filed and so he did! Litterally within 2 weeks we heard back from USCIS, they asked to cancel the lawsuite and scheduled a meeting/interview with in less than a month. We opted to have Raymond join us for the meeting as we didnt know what to expect. It was again the right decision, Raymind handled everything for us and less than 2 months afteer the a Writ of Mandamus was filed we now have the greencard Job well domne, thank you so much Ray.

We explained my husband of 5 years overstayed his visa and lost his passport. They said based on this information my husband should go back to his country and file from there but he may not be able to come back for 10 years. We felt so lost. Even though he had been in America 10 years they didn't see how they could help us. We kept looking. 5 years (ten years of marriage) and a child later it was then my dad brought us to Raymond and his team. We are unorganized, lost many photos along the way, no passport, overstayed visa, my husband had been racially profiled by cops and feared he had a record but he did not. All of this did not keep him from helping us. Raymond made sure we were ready, our paper work looked professional and he walked us thru all the steps to make sure we got the outcome we wanted and needed. With so many lawyers and the church telling us it can not be done Raymond got it done. He is not the cheapest, he is the one that is worth it . If your worried about your family being torn apart Raymond and his team are the ones you should trust. My husband can see his parents in person for the first time in 20 years and we can work on another child. Do not hesitate to contact him, he is the one that can helps

Even though Kathy Yung was my initial contact via email, I spoke with Keith over the phone to answer my questions about setting up a revokable trust for our house. He was very informative and knew exactly what we needed and his staff drew up all the documents. A few weeks later, Keith met us personally in the office to sign and finalize all the documents. It could not have been a smoother process. By giving us his personal attention to our needs, Keith gave us peace of mind and satisfaction. He was even able to meet at our convenience after their normal hours. That is dedication! Even though I found Y&Y on Yelp from reading my friends' reviews, I found out that I know Kathy through some other friends. It's a very small world! For your real estate and estate planning legal needs, I cannot recommend Yung & Yung highly enough. As such, we have already recommended them to friends and family!

I worked with Guy Menahem on my immigration status. We started the process from being out of status…read moreto all the way to getting my citizenship. When I first came to Guy's office, he was located on Canal Street, NY, had his own office back then. I cannot say anything bad about him because he always: - called me reminding about our upcoming meetings; - emailed/called about any missing documents; - spent time with me in his office working on my paperwork (most attorneys do not spend enough time with their clients, they delegate the job to their assistants) - gave me a good payment plan; Remember, a lot of attorneys are really hard to get a hold of. You might get tired of calling their office and talking to their front desk attendants. Guy would email, call or leave a voicemail. It was just pleasant to talk to him, he is not arrogant like some others. I went to a few other attorneys before being referred to Guy, I have seen lawyers who look down clients/potential clients who are in tough situations. Plus, he speaks a few other languages besides English. That helps him understand your culture a lot better if he happens to speak your language. From my personal experience, there was never a case where we forgot to include some evidence, or a material, or a form, etc. when sending documents. He always went through the forms (or anything that we were sending to the USCIS) a few times thoroughly. If we did not include anything, then we simply did not have it at the time, but he never forgot any attachments. That is one of the main things you want to make sure of, because there are so many cases where lawyers mess up and clients bear the consequences. When you talk to him you will feel his friendliness, his broad and specific knowledge on immigration cases and laws. He went to Duke University, I think it was in top 5 law schools when I talked to him the first time. Last, I never doubted his knowledge or expertise. Have you ever had that feeling after talking to a lawyer that gets you thinking: "Does he/she really know this area in depth?" Guy never gave me that feeling. Lightman Law Firm is very lucky to have him and I hope he reaches new highs and never stops. Thanks for being with me during this whole process!
