I'm only going to give this place stars because the treatment I was given by the dr worked, he was nice enough, and his staff was awesome. What I didn't care for was waiting for an hour after I was supposed to see him, which I can somewhat understand due to issues that arise, but I felt like when he was finally able to see him I was being rushed! He was treating me and 2 other patients at the same time!! He kept going in and out of the room and would say something to me about my foot and take off before I could ask him a question! I didn't understand half of what he was saying to me so I had to ask him to repeat himself often! I know other people who have seen him and love him, but I didn't care him. I had to have surgery to correct my flat feet which entailed in layman's terms a fusion and also an Achilles' tendon lengthening. I also threw in a bunionectomy for good measure. There's a lot more medical terms used for this complex surgery however my review is not based on the in depth procedures that were done but on the treatment I received. I had two pre op appointments to discuss the best way to correct my foot. Dr. Coppolelli explained in detail for me to understand what he had to do, what to expect and what the final outcome would be. Considering this was a big surgery for me I was incredibly nervous, I knew I was in good hands since I had not only been a patient of Dr. Coopolelli but my mother and father were also. In fact he performed 2 successful surgeries on my mother in the past. On the day of the surgery he reiterated everything that had to be done and made me comfortable to ease my nerves. That night I experienced bleeding and did not know if this was normal or considered excessive. I didn't want to look like a baby calling the dr. 2 hours after the surgery but my husband made me. I conceded by texting Dr. C including a pic of my foot. I received a call back with in a minute. He explained this was absolutely normal and I had nothing to worry about. He was also considerate enough to call the next night to see how my pain level was. As far as the pain, I was pleasantly surprised it didn't hurt more, the only severe pain I felt is when I fell off my knee scooter onto my foot. I made sure not to do that again lol. I had my first post op follow up yesterday and all went well. I was able to see what my foot looked like . He removed the cast and sent me home with a boot, this is what I prayed all week for. I go back next week to remove the stitches. I know I have a long road ahead of me but I am confident if I follow doctors orders I will be fine. I would be amiss if I didn't mention Dr. Coppolelli staff who has been more than accommodating and compassionate. I love Jesse and all the girls who work there! If you are looking for a great podiatrist I would highly recommend Dr. Coppolelli. read more
