Please seek alternatives before ending up with this vendor to ruin your big day I would never recommend this vendor to anyone who needs flowers for their wedding or in general. My wife and I were severely disappointed with the incorrect flowers we received on our wedding day at the Reeds Hotel. We spoke with them a year before our wedding date and my wife specifically requested Peonies flowers. Fast forward to 1 night before our wedding and my wife gets an email from Nancy at Coventry Crossing, stating that the flowers are out of season and they are going to have to use an alternative. Totally unacceptable making us pay full price for the Peonies and waiting 1 night before the wedding to tell us they are out of season and are using a different flower, which looked much cheaper than the Peonies. After creating a whole ordeal of stress for my wife and I, the day of the wedding comes and the flowers are nowhere to be found at the venue. My wife calls and the impolite woman on the phone from Coventry Crossing says "I can't deliver them because it is raining and can't leave my car, I do not know when I can be there because of this. " Note, it was lightly drizzling the day of our wedding. The wedding planner ended up having to pick them up herself and then buy new flowers for the bouquet as the ones she picked up were wilting. My wife was beyond upset by the flowers and it stressed her out all day, when she was supposed to be enjoying the biggest day of her life. On top of all of this, towards the end of the reception, Nancy from Coventry crossing rudely approached my wife and pulled her aside while she was speaking with family members and proceeded to make excuses for what happened. She had the audacity to blame the wedding planner for the flowers. Our wedding planner was absolutely on the ball with everything all day and we couldn't say enough good things about her. Coventry Crossing is impolite, insincere, unprofessional, deceptive, and remorseless. No apologies, no credit for receiving the wrong flowers, nothing but excuses. Awful flower shop. Nancy was lovely to work with for my daughter's wedding. She made suggestions that worked for the season and repurposed our rehearsal dinner flowers for the reception. Stone Harbor is a seasonal town but I wanted a florist that was local to our venue and Coventry Crossing delivered. One of my favorite photos of the wedding day was captured by Nancy as the bride and her dad were heading to the beach for the ceremony. Terrible. She told us to call her and pay the deposit. We tried calling her this weekend. My fiance called her like 9 times, and she did not pick up. Then on Monday Nancy emailed us and said that she booked with someone else on our date. We were counting on her and our wedding date is coming up. I would not think she would do that to us as we were trying to contact her to pay. This situation has brought me to tears, and i am planning my wedding from a different state which is not easy. I knew there was a problem when i later saw how bad her reviews were. I dodged a bullet with this place. I spoke with another florist on Monday and they also said that she is late to weddings and does a poor poor job. I urge you to watch out for this place. Good Luck! read more

Nancy is an unbelievable florist! She was extremely easy to work with, and instantly understood my vision for my elegant beach wedding. Since I did not live close to her, she was willing to speak over the phone at any time of the day, and was always so upbeat and positive. Everything was beyond my expectations. I was and still am overjoyed with how beautiful everything turned out. My guests are still raving about the centerpieces with the ghostwood that Nancy bought just for my beach vision, and the beautiful peonies in my bouquet that were out of season, but she somehow had them shipped from overseas. Wow! This place is lacks design skill and value. $59.50 to stuff some flowers absent-mindedlessly into a vase. There is no harmony in this bouquet whatsoever. Pros- responsive service and (at day 2) they are still alive. read more

Met with nancy in regards to floral arrangements for our wedding, we sat with her for 2 hours, went through everything, got in the car and not even 10 minutes later got an email from her saying sorry we aren't available on your wedding day. Thanks for wasting our time. read more

I would never trust Coventry Crossing with any important order. The flowers were to be delivered within a half a mile of Coventry Crossing. They were not delivered on the day promised and the florist did not attempt to contact either of the two phone numbers provided. I followed up on day 2 and the florist stated that the order was in the delivery vehicle but the driver had to go to Cape May (16 miles away) first. When the flowers didn't show up later in the day, I called again. The delivery vehicle was having problems. The flowers were never delivered, and the florist cancelled the order without informing me. The florist never apologized for the inconvenience. I'm really not sure how they were able to mess up a simple birthday arrangement. What if the flowers were anniversary, sympathy, or wedding arrangements? I don't want to think what would happen if Coventry Crossing was entrusted with those orders. read more

Worst experience. I had an inkling nothing was great about this florist when I called to order...but its a small town in NJ and I figured a local florist would take pride in their work. I have sent a lot of flowers before, knowing full well that you never know what the recipient will actually receive and never have had a problem. However, this time the recipient sent me a picture because it was so pathetic and knew no matter what the price tag this was an unacceptable. No one would be proud to deliver what they received. 3 hydrangea's, one of which was dead and 3 small wilted sunflowers with a bow. They barely could stand up when put in water. I called the florist and she tried to blame the recipient as being picky! (Unacceptable!) After I explained I have a picture of what they received, Nancy sang a different tune and offered to resend new flowers since refund was no option....I accepted thinking nice solution...BOY WAS I WRONG...I guess she did not want to lose a nickel on this job or possibly she losses money on every order so this is an average day at the office.
