Our family has been at CCA since our son entered kindergarten in 2014. It's been a huge benefit for him to have started his education here from the get go! In these years, he's developed SUCH a love of learning! Not only from an educational standpoint, but a moral one as well. CCA's teaching methods have made learning so much fun for him (eg: songs & jingles, hands on learning, individual attention etc.). After 5 years here, the cumulative effect shows! When our children were toddlers my husband and I began talking seriously about what we wanted their education to look like. Terrific Christ centered school with a classical education model. I'm a parent of a 4th grade student who started attending CCA in the third grade. The tuition is quite low, compared to similar private schools. The quality of the curriculum, teachers, and environment is excellent. The student to teacher ratio is low, which is great because it allows students to engage with their teacher which means students understand and digest the material they're learning more fully. Covenant Classical Academy has been a God-send for our 6 year old! He started last year in half-day Kindergarten in a class of 4, and has learned so much! He can write in cursive, knows all of the phonograms, has absorbed animal facts and scripture, and can sing classic hymns. We couldn't be happier, not only with the education, but with the people at CCA. We have two children at CCA and we love it! The teachers and administrators care and give special attention to the needs and spiritual well being of each student. Academic standards are high without being unreasonable. They have a great balance of challenging our boys and still letting them be kids. There is almost no homework in the elementary grades.
