I otherwise had a great experience, I like the fullness and the individual strokes in my eyebrows. My issue is how asymmetrical they are in the center. I love the right one (on the left in the photo) but the other does not match at all. The only reason I'm knocking off one star has nothing to do with Kaihler herself, but the salon's product pricing. I purchased a hair product there for $47, then realized afterward the exact same product/size is selling for around $25 at Ulta and Amazon, and even the brand's own website has it listed for $36. Marking products up that much is pretty scammy and left a bad taste in my mouth, so I definitely wouldn't purchase products from the salon again. Initially started out with just a wax with Alex but gradually worked up the courage to try a lami. I was super nervous about looking crazy but Alex was so patient and explained the whole process as she was applying. We started out with a really gentle formula for the first session but worked up to a stronger solution for the next sessions. I was so excited when they started offering lash lifts last year that I HAD to try it. My brows and lashes have NEVER looked so amazing! Alex has been able to transform my brow shape with such artistry. I always recommend Two of a Kind to any of my friends in the LA area. Booking is super easy- either online or through text. Lami would last a solid 6-7 weeks before I'd need to start using brow gel more regularly and I would stretch appointments by 9 weeks. Was getting lash lifts at the same time for convenience but could've definitely stretched things longer. Have not noticed any damage. I use Sarah Maxwells layer serum nightly and Latisse every 2-3 days for maintenance. I am SO SAD to be moving out of state because I will need to find another artist. Alex is truly a gem.
