I started rehabbing with Brian in 2016 after an ACL reconstruction. Having 3 surgeries and 2 tough years under my belt, his experience got me up and moving again. Now he's working with our super active kids and their sports injuries, and he is just as great with them. Brian is a good listener, patient, and really does work above and beyond to make recovery look plausible. He explains everything in plain terms, implements customized treatment plans, and the whole office is nice and professional. I started going to Coury & Buehler for physical therapy earlier this year after a traffic collision injury. My primary physical therapist was Jason, and I also had the opportunity to work with Adam, Mark, and Brian. From day one through my last session, Jason was incredibly informative, attentive, and always made sure to address any concerns I had. He's an excellent physical therapist who genuinely cares about his patients' recovery. The other PTs I worked with were also great and very professional. The PT assistants were equally amazing. I primarily worked with Junior, who was always on top of things and made every session run smoothly. I also worked with Milena, Ricky, and David along with various assistants, who were all very helpful and encouraging throughout my exercises. Lastly, the front desk staff deserves recognition especially Cat, who was always extremely helpful with scheduling and any changes. She does a fantastic job managing everything up front. Absolutely the best Physical Therapy I have ever experienced. It is difficult to explain how good these locations are unless you have others to compare them too. They set the gold standard. From evaluation and plan through all treatments there is excellent communication and progress checking. This group is so amazing! Not only did they help fix my shoulder, but it felt like they actually cared about me. They always remembered what my hobbies were and asked me about specific things I was doing that I mentioned at my last visit. I did not know what to expect when I was referred to physical therapy. The discomfort I have been feeling was pretty bad, and although I was hopeful, I questioned whether PT would actually help. I also wondered if I would be taken seriously. From the pleasant woman in the front, Mary, to my physical therapist Dr. Brian Blanco, to one of the PT aids, Junior, they were so welcoming and encouraging. Brian did a very thorough evaluation and asked me a lot of questions. He listened, didn't cut me off, and provided me an idea of what he will be working on with me. They also gave me exercises to continue to do daily, which helped. I have been there a few times now, and I am very pleasantly surprised. I immediately started feeling a difference, and as I continued my sessions, I continue to feel better. Brian is very attentive and knowledgeable. I injured my neck and felt like it was going to snap off if I sneezed. Insurance only approved 6 sessions so I did not think I would feel better. I went to my doctor for a shoulder pain that started bothering me more and more, and he referred me here, and I'm glad he did. PT is a new experience to me, and from the initial consultation through my last day, the staff here got me back to normal (if not better), in a comfortable and welcoming environment. I mainly saw Brian, but also Faith and Adam on occasion, and they're all wonderful. One of the aids Junior tended to be around most of the times I came in, and he, and the other aids were also awesome. From conversation to encouragement, to really paying attention to your progress - I didn't meet anyone here who didn't seem to genuinely care. All the people are great here! The PT's here are very knowledgeable and tailor your care to your need/injury. The office staff is very nice and accommodating if you ever need to reschedule or miss your appointment which was always very nice. I was referred here by my doctor for my shoulder impingement. I worked with Heather and Shaun for 8 visits (about 10 weeks). They put together a comprehensive workout plan that I can do even at home, while tracking weekly progress of my shoulder mobility. Not to mention that they're both incredibly friendly and easy to talk to during the PT session. I saw great improvements at the end of my 8 visits, and I would highly recommend Coury & Buehler for any physical therapy needs. Hopefully, I won't have to go back because that would mean I have more injuries, but at least I'll have full confidence in the people who will work with me. read more

I chose C&B Physical Therapy Anaheim for my PT after a total hip replacement. My PT Mark Haffar has been top notch, with over 20 years of experience. Mark has not only skillfully massaged and gently stretched the affected muscles, but he has already greatly increased my range of motion in the joint. He takes a genuine interest in his patients. He's always willing to answer questions and he is always encouraging. The Anaheim facility is clean and well run, from the front office staff to the exercise assistants to the therapists. Man! Where do I start? I have been coming to Coury and Buehler PT since February this year. I had a insurance hiccup for about 3 weeks but that comes out to a better part of 8 months. My health experience: First things first, before I speak about the awesome individuals who work here, my health has drastically improved. I was given a lot of "homework" and I followed through but without their assistance I would not be able to manage my upper and lower back pain as I am today. I have been taught life skills of how to stretch, build muscle, and even how to sit and sleep. My pain went from about a 7 to 0, and I re-categorize my issues as a dull ache and tightness AT WORST. I am nothing but satisfied with the PT I have experienced here. The people: I'm an easy going guy so I saw a lot of the therapists here, i'll go in a chronological order. Heather: I saw her my first time here and she has excellent "bedside manners". She is truly a professional and listens very well to your feedback with pain and therefore, is able to pin point how to fix it. I only was treated by her 3 or 4 times but I remember always feeling so much better after my sessions with her. She is always booked, and its for good reason! Crysta: Crysta is no longer at this company from what I remember but she was very amazing. She always made me feel comfortable and she was very kind and gentle. She had a great ability of being able to make you feel better with the massages without being too rough, and she was great at adding exercises to stretch and build muscle on the fly. I got to know her well and I felt very welcome every time I visited. I had maybe 3 months of therapy with her. Danica: Danica is at another location (Brea I think) but she was very kind and also very gentle. Like Heather I felt like she listened very well to my feedback and she was really great at giving home exercises to help and deal with pain. I think I had maybe 5 or so session with Danica. Sean DE JESUS: Sean is the man. Sean got hired on when Crysta was leaving and I believe this is a little biased because Sean has a good sense of humor that matches mine and also, when I started working with him, this was the height of my upper back and shoulder pain. So, I really think of Sean fondly as a very helpful person and therapist. I remember one time I came in as "an emergency" because I was in so much pain and I called to speak to Sean, and he was very empathetic and was able to see me the same day. I can't tell you how grateful I was for that. THANK YOU SEAN! Also, Sean is very strong, and being that I am a big guy, I really do feel like Sean had the muscle to relieve the stress on my shoulders and back. I really have nothing bad to say about Sean and I believe he is going to be one of the best therapists there one day and be a big boss. Lol. Seriously, this guy genuinely cares about his patients, and I highly recommend him (I recommend everyone here too). Jason: Jason is a good guy! He drives a crappy car and is jealous of my Mustang but hey things happen. He is a dad so he's not a gamer anymore but this is just small sample of his bedside manner/small talk that he is top tier in. If you want to have a good time while you get your massage/therapy, Jason really makes you feel like your visiting an old friend or something. That and (sorry Sean), but Jason is the back cracking KING! He was able to get uh, I think he called it a release, as he couldn't legally call it cracking or something lol, but he was the best at it. And again, I'm a big guy and probably double his size but to his credit, he was able to pick me up and get my back to relieve the tension. Adam: I think I worked with Adam once or twice, but he was super friendly and once you've had a few therapists you begin to notice their different techniques and I could tell Adam is very skilled. Super nice guy! Other therapists there like Mark/Brian and all of the physical assistants who run you through the exercises are nothing but super kind and seriously anyone who is thinking about or needing physical therapy should come here. You will NOT regret it. From the intake assistants down to the physical therapists, these people care about you. read more
