It was horribly offensive to be profiled by a lady literally older than dirt. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It's a shame because they had a nice selection of things. Guess they don't trust their customers and don't want anyone's business. They didn't even try to conceal that's exactly what they were doing. I thought it was just us and I am horrified to see they are doing this to multiple people. Buyer beware- there are so many other adorable shops who were more than welcoming and we spent a ton of money elsewhere. Their loss.

We had a ton of fun painting our ceramic pieces for a chill activity! I'm glad I saw this…read morerecommended by someone on TikTok because this wasn't something I would have spotted driving by. The art cafe mentions it's better to make reservations so we did about a week or two in advance. A table was set up when we got there but there were only 2-3 families in there when we were there. I can imagine it'd get a lot busier on a rainy day though, so I wouldn't risk not calling ahead. I think the charge for each person was $8, plus the price of your piece. I had seen some people say they thought it was a pricy activity, and without any prices listed online I was a little anxious about how much it could end up costing. When you get checked it you're told to pick a ceramic piece off one of the shelves, and there was so much to look at. They really do have so much; big pieces, small pieces, bowls, plates, mugs, figures, ornaments, decor pieces, etc. The smaller pieces can be pretty cheap, I think the small bowls me and my daughter picked were around $10, but most definitely under $15. My son picked out a little race car and that was was probably around $15. But I saw much larger pieces that were $30+. So this can most definitely be a cheaper activity if you keep is small and I think the $8 fee for supplies, glazing and firing your pieces is perfectly reasonable. After you pick your pieces you can pick your colors off a chart on the wall that shows what the colors look like once the whole process is done. This was a fun way to spend an hour or so, and I love the little bowl I made. The staff was friendly and checked in on us frequently. I was able to get a color refill at one point. They give you the pick up information on your receipt, the turn around time was about three days and I'm pretty sure I saw it mentioned on their site that they'll pack and ship it to your home if you won't be around long enough to pick it up. We will most definitely be back next summer, I can see this being a great yearly tradition!

My goodness, as a fellow candle lover myself...I didn't know what I would be stepping into when I came here. As soon as I stepped in here, I was almost instantaneously overwhelmed with the beauty of all the candles. Also, the space was pretty big and the sales people were also so sweet. They asked if we needed anything but weren't overbearing which was great. As I looked around....there was a candle crafted for almost ANYTHING you could think of. The amount of detail that goes into the creation of these gorgeous candles is absolutely unreal. I mean, they were so pretty, I don't even think I wouldn't want to light them for the mere fact that it would ruin them! Hmmm....another cool fact is that the store actually has a gigantic window where you can watch the candle makers create the candles in real time, it was super super cool! We ended up getting a beautiful candle as a lovely reminder of our family trip. Unfortunately, I can't speak for the prices because I don't remember them and our candle was gifted to us. While it was my first time in the shop, it definitely won't be my last. Such a fun, unique shop!
