Great selection of really cool texile yarns and knitting supplies. They also have a great book selection.

We had a ton of fun painting our ceramic pieces for a chill activity! I'm glad I saw this…read morerecommended by someone on TikTok because this wasn't something I would have spotted driving by. The art cafe mentions it's better to make reservations so we did about a week or two in advance. A table was set up when we got there but there were only 2-3 families in there when we were there. I can imagine it'd get a lot busier on a rainy day though, so I wouldn't risk not calling ahead. I think the charge for each person was $8, plus the price of your piece. I had seen some people say they thought it was a pricy activity, and without any prices listed online I was a little anxious about how much it could end up costing. When you get checked it you're told to pick a ceramic piece off one of the shelves, and there was so much to look at. They really do have so much; big pieces, small pieces, bowls, plates, mugs, figures, ornaments, decor pieces, etc. The smaller pieces can be pretty cheap, I think the small bowls me and my daughter picked were around $10, but most definitely under $15. My son picked out a little race car and that was was probably around $15. But I saw much larger pieces that were $30+. So this can most definitely be a cheaper activity if you keep is small and I think the $8 fee for supplies, glazing and firing your pieces is perfectly reasonable. After you pick your pieces you can pick your colors off a chart on the wall that shows what the colors look like once the whole process is done. This was a fun way to spend an hour or so, and I love the little bowl I made. The staff was friendly and checked in on us frequently. I was able to get a color refill at one point. They give you the pick up information on your receipt, the turn around time was about three days and I'm pretty sure I saw it mentioned on their site that they'll pack and ship it to your home if you won't be around long enough to pick it up. We will most definitely be back next summer, I can see this being a great yearly tradition!

We were visiting with family on the island for the day coming from about two hours away. Our kids…read morehad Christmas money they wanted to use on toys so we let them go in and check out the store. They both picked out Lego sets that seemed a bit on the higher side but figured it wasn't going to be that much of a difference in price so we purchased them. After leaving we decided to look up how much the Lego sets were in comparison since they seemed higher than expected and noticed one that was $40 on Amazon and Lego.com for a Lego Minecraft but in store price was $62.99. Literally $23 up charged. This is insane. I could see $5-10 tops for up charge. Another Lego set we purchased which on Lego.com for Lego Star Wars was $18 but the in store price was $27.99. A 36% markup which is ridiculous. We looked up reviews on your store and this seems to be a very common issue among other visitors to your store. It is disappointing to think that we were shopping locally and supporting a local business but in turn our children were ripped off with the Christmas money on items they could have gotten elsewhere for a more reasonable price.

It's a cute and fun little store store for kids of all ages. YES some of the toys are overpriced…read morebut there are toys in there that are reasonable too. We paid $6 more for one thing according to Amazon but we are on VACATION so it's ok. They have little things that the kids can pick out that are $6-15. The lady working did not really greet us or ask if we needed help but at least she was WORKING. She was putting out inventory left and right which is better than being on a cell phone and blatantly ignoring customers. Overall it's a great toy store to take the kids to for fun.
