Walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast is not included at this location. Starbucks coffee sold in lobby. Pros: Accepts Bonvoy points. Room was clean. Upgraded to balcony room Cons: No hot water in the sink until it runs for 10 minutes. No safe. No microwave in the room. Too many middle and high schoolers running down the hallways and knocking on doors. Rules for minors roaming the property should be enforced. read more

A Great Stay in Franklin, Tennessee! I recently stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Franklin, TN, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel itself was excellent--clean, comfortable, and welcoming--but what really made the visit special was the location. There were plenty of activities for both families and adults. A popular ice cream shop was just steps away, along with a beautiful green space where kids could run and play. I also discovered a great spot called Tony's Place, perfect for grabbing a delicious sandwich and a cold beer. read more

We stayed for one night for a quick trip to Franklin. The staff at the front desk were so great and friendly. We were super sad when they said the pool was closed for repair because it was one of the reasons we booked here. We were pleased to find out that the pool was repaired when we came back from dinner. We booked the King Suite and it was super spacious and had super high ceilings, (we were on the first floor). We also had a nice balcony but the view was just the alley way since we were on floor one. Overall, it was a great stay and we'd stay here again. read more

Great hotel for a quick visit to Nashville! We had trouble finding an affordable spot in the city due to several concerts that weekend -- but were able to snag a last minute room at the Courtyard Franklin with no trouble at all. It's about 15-20 minutes down the highway from Downtown Nashville (depending on traffic), but there's plenty to do in surrounding Franklin too! Check-in was a breeze, and we made a stop at the lobby shop on our way up to our room. It was actually pretty well stocked - with a nice selection of snacks and sodas. Our party booked two King rooms, and it's always appreciated when a hotel can keep those rooms as close together as possible. In this case, we were right across the hall from each other. The room itself was large - with plenty of space of space to spread out. Everything was clean - and the bed was nice and comfortable. The hotel lobby bar had some fun meal options - although we only indulged in their Starbucks offerings before check-out on Sunday morning. You're able to charge any food or drink directly to the rooms - or pay for it individually. The parking lot is free - but be warned that it might be difficult to find a spot if you're getting back to the hotel after dark. We had to park quite a ways away from the hotel - but there is a loading zone right in front of the entrance. I'd definitely recommend this Courtyard to anyone staying in Franklin, or even someone who's visiting Nashville and looking for a more affordable hotel option! read more

We have stayed in this hotel before few years ago and had a good experience so we stayed again. We're in town for our granddaughter's basketball. Upon arrival the girl working the front desk was nice and pleasant and check in was quick. We stayed in a 2 room suite. Arriving to our room, the room was nice but turn to annoying once we went to bed. There was a motor or some kind of noise that would start up about ever 6 minutes and run for about 6 minutes shut off and start again. It did this all night. VERY ANNOYING and hard to sleep. Our room had couple burnt out light bulbs and cracked tile in the bathroom. Do not stay in room 445 because of that annoying noise. The next evening after a day of basketball we arriving back at our room. We did not receive room service so we went to the front desk to get towels, wash cloths and couple more pillows because the pillows are awful. Bring your own pillows. Lashawn was working the front desk. She has a great smile, personality and is very friendly. She fixed us up with everything we needed. We would stay here again just not in room 445. We ate breakfast here and our breakfast was good and the lady working that area was very nice and friendly as well. Worst room I've ever stayed in. I gave the hotel a 2 star because everyone was nice but this room and that noise is awful!!!!!! read more

**Soccer Tournament Review** We stayed here when we were in town for a soccer tournament and while I thought the staff would be annoyed by all of these kids there, I was SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED by how welcoming they were. From the minute you walked in until the minute you left, the staff was always so kind to everyone of every age. We had a room with a king bed and I LOVED the layout. Usually king beds are plopped in the middle of the room, but this room had the head board up against the wall shared with the bathroom so you could look out the window. It also had a swivel TV so you could still watch it. There was a pull out couch /lounger that was such a nice touch to the room. There is an indoor pool/hot tub where they do have towels available. There is also a really nice gym. We were able to walk to go get breakfast nearby, but there is also starbucks served in the lobby too. read more

Came here on a business trip, so not only did I stay at the hotel our meeting was at the hotel. Room: room was nice and clean. It was a little dark, but not a big deal. The room had a comfortable place to work and the room was kept nicely. Meeting room: the meeting room was comfortable. A little chilly but the staff was very helpful with our technical problems and was good at keeping the catering filled in. They made sure that lunch (which was ordered via them day 1) had a beautiful vegan wrap and the hotel caterer made a point to also let me know that the snack (açaí bowl) was made with almond milk and the granola had honey. The wrap was delicious. The bistro: the bistro was a Starbucks on steroids. The first morning I had the avocado toast without egg. Not sure what was spicy as the menu didn't mention anything but it burned my mouth. The service in the bistro was super friendly and the almond milk latte I had was delicious. Front desk: the only complaint is the hotel didn't have umbrellas like they did at a Marriott I stayed at in Nashville. Otherwise the front desk was super friendly and the little "drink/snack" area was reasonably priced. All in all it was a great visit and I would stay there again if I was in the area. read more

I had a great experience! This Courtyard was definitely the nicest one I've ever stayed at. The check-in area & the little snack/accessories shop is small, first impression. Then, as you look around a bit...a lovely Starbucks and cafe, with booths and individual TV's, a big touchsceen TV information/map/finder (fun to play with), and the largest sitting area EVER, with a setting your in the living room at a Beverly Hills mansion! MARRIOTT REWARDS I used reward points for 5 nights...ohhh yes! SERVICE The service from the entire staff was outstanding. Super nice, competant, attentive, and very friendly. CLEAN Cleanliness everywhere, from the lobby, to the cafe, the 'living room' lobby, the elevator, the hallways, and the room -- kept immaculate. PARKING Parking was easy on the weekends, but a little tough during the week during day hours. Not only is it situated next to a Residence Inn ("Marriott" property, too) -- it's also next to a business complex...and you just might be unlucky like me...and have to park a bit away and walk. LOCATION A block off the freeway, there wasn't any freeway noise. There is a construction project, but even with my room on the side facing it -- it was still fairly quiet when they started each morning. Walking distance (essentially the backside of the hotel) is a dozen restaurants and bars in strip-mall style. Just a few short blocks from everything else, the big Cool Springs Mall, movie theatres, and all you can imagine. DOWNSIDE None really, but it doesn't have a typical bar. Easily rectified by a short walk to Boscos (brews/dining), Losers (no, not you -- it's the name of a sports bar), or Steamers (bar/dining) in the strip-mall. read more

Thanks so much to the exemplary staff! I did not meet one person at the hotel who didn't smile and greet me. Everyone I met seemed to enjoy their job and want to help. The hotel could have been dirty (which it wasn't) & the staff could have easily made up for the shortcoming. They were eager to help & and offer recommendations for dinner/activities. The room was clean and neat. It had a unique room layout (which I liked) with cool-funky furniture in the room. It is conveniently located near great food options & the mall. Very Very Nice Courtyard.. I am an extensive traveler (like every week) :) this is one of the nicest courtyards I have ever stayed in. Was like brand spanking new but was actually 4 years old. Very large lobby area, lots of tables to work from. Rooms nice and clean. Service and staff top notch. Only little complaint I have is no coffee in the lobby, you had to either use room coffee which I am not a fan of, or you had to pay their bistro for coffee. Played nice music over sound system. The grounds were beautiful great landscaping. Super neat complex it sits within tons of restaurants and places to walk to, very beautiful part of Nashville Tn... would highly recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the Nashville area. read more

Stayed here while in town for work. Location is great, right in the heart of Cool Springs. The lobby is really and the room was clean and fairly large. Definitely could have been a bit more modern and updated (especially the bathrooms). The wifi was pretty slow, so that was the only other drawback. All in all, a solid place to stay. Wouldn't hesitate staying here again. read more

This place is so good, I did not want to leave and I am ready to go back !!!! I had a gorgeous renovated room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the hills. The room actually inspired me for decor in the house we are getting soon! I loved it that much! The hotel is quiet, employees are nice, and the place is spotless! I originally booked next door for the residence inn, but after seeing both in person, I changed my booking. We did make use of the hot tub, and it was nice since no one was really using it, we had it to ourselves. It was very well priced for the location and quality of the hotel ($127 w/ tax). Hotel is very nice as any hotel in this category, but.... Fitness center is absolutely not what I would expect from hotel with 169.00 -219.00 (USD) per night rates. If you are big fun of weigh weight lifting dumbbells, you are OK. if you like to walk on a treadmill - then you are fine too. But if you like to work out on some Gym Machine - non of it preset here!!! One good Commercial Grade Home Gym could do all the work for their fitness room. As it is this fitness room is useless... Another big disappointment - tiny and cheap refrigerator in the room. If you put pint of ice cream in it, it is the same as you put it in trash basket. Half an hour later you will get meltdown dead syrup. Internet - as slow as you can imagine - I never seen so slow internet in hotels for years. The best speed test I got here was 0.48Mbps/0.87Mbps up/down. $18~$25 for a pretty simple breakfast - you would better cross the street and get much better breakfast in any coffee shop or Starbucks. My travel agent did the booking for me at Courtyard, but next time try to stay in some different place. read more

My only complaint was that the room had zero usb options, only traditional plugs. With only one converted, charging devices proved difficult. The general manager allowed me to cancel the second day of my reservation so I could move to a full service hotel and arranged for "one-off" breakfast delivery for the day I was still at this hotel, which I greatly appreciated. Room is clean and comfortable. Shower pressure is great. In room caf/decaf coffee pods and mini-frig. I really loved the service I received from Jana tonight. I had a long ride from Chicago after a difficult day of closing my house. All seemed to go wrong and Jana gave me some chocolates as a peaceful contribution after a long day. Then my TV didn't work and she promptly sent a new remote to my room. At last peace cane and she couldn't have been nicer in spite of my awful mood and lack of patience. Twice in a row, I found someone else's hair in my bed. I travel a lot for work, and have never had an experience like this. The first time it happened, I found several hairs in my bed which were definitely not mine. They put me in another near-by room which also had hairs in the bed. Clearly a housekeeping problem. I left that night and went to another hotel. The staff seemed concerned about correcting the problem. However, about 2 weeks later I was back for work and decided to try again since my coworkers were staying there. This time, I inspected the bed before getting in. Again, I found long dark hairs curled up in my bed. Needless to say, I left to another hotel. I have to say I am not high maintenance and almost never complain about businesses. I felt like I was in the Twighlight Zone having it happen twice in a row at the same hotel. In a lot of circumstances, I would suck it up, but this made me want to vomit and I couldn't stomach sleeping in those beds. This place needs to get their housekeeping issues fixed. I figured it would have been after the first incident. But, that's only to benefit future guests. I will never take that chance again. read more

Updated, safe area & spacious. We enjoyed our 4 day stay here. They have a spacious lobby with superb service!!!!! Our room was comfy- nice beds, clean & had a nice settee, fridge & microwave. The outdoor area had a relaxing private patio with many chairs & tables. They had conventions going on but it was still more than accommodating. There is a bar & restaurant on site & many restaurants & tons of shopping very close. I would definitely return. We were too busy to try out the pool & exercise area but others said it was very nice & quiet. read more

The rooms are well appointed and there is an balcony the has a bistro table and chairs. Nice if you want to drink your coffee out there in the morning or have a cold drink in the evening. This is a perfect place. For the money, we were impressed with the cleanliness, size of room and the refrig was a bonus. We called in while traveling (1/30/2016 at 9:00pm) and spoke with the most friendly person. At the end of booking our reservation she asked what time we would be arriving.
