The maintenance crew is also amazing. The property is beautiful. You really get what you pay for here, and I love it so much. The property is so close to everything, but hidden and secluded. Please please move here. You won't regret it.

Absolutely the worst. My dad lived here. They'd cancel maintenance appointments to fix things,…read morewouldn't respond the emails, there's ONE trash compactor for the ENTIRE complex. You have to put your trash in your car and drive it over. And for a while they had an overflowing dumpster not far from my dad's place. More convenient? Yeah. Super trashy? Definitely. But it gets worse. My dad died. My brother and I went down to the office to inform them and to see what we needed to do. They told us 'normally we would require notice but it should be fine'. Yeah I would hope so. I realize entering into a lease that is not month to month will have repercussions if broken before it's up, but I'd say it's a special circumstance and hopefully if you're going to be monsters, you'd tell us. So we leave the place immaculate. My dad was a very tidy man anyway but I mean, touching up paint, shining door knobs....everything. Drop of the keys on the 31st of the month, leave my forwarding info for deposit return, ask if there's anything else I need to know or do; they say no. Nearly three months later, after I call and call to ask about the deposit and am completely ignored and given a run around, I get a move out checklist with a charge of $350 dollars for trash removal of one bag (no way, nothing was left), broken knobs?? Keep in mind, no pictures were provided of these offenses, and not only was the tally $350, it was tacked on to....a bill of $1800 for re rent of the unit. Deposit taken. Wow. I've contacted the attorney general and will be getting my father's estate lawyer involved. But please, stay away. There's a complex called The Bend, beautiful location. I'd say check them out before falling victim to these incompetent predators.

Windsor Place on Graceland Drive is just bad. Like real bad. From what I seen and heard anyways…read more Pretty much everybody got bed bugs and roaches. Don't matter if you clean or not. I ain't checked every apartment obviously but everyone talks about the same thing so you kinda put two and two together. And then they make you pay for exterminator, which don't sound right to me but that's how it goes there. People smoke 24/7. Cigs, weed, whatever else. The smell is everywhere all the time. In the halls, in the apartments, on your clothes. Nobody stops it. Seems like nobody even tries. There's also a lotta shady stuff. People coming and going all night, weird smells sometimes, cops and fire trucks showing up more than they should. There's been a bunch of fires lately, or at least more than normal for one place. I don't know exactly what everyone's doing but it don't feel safe, that's for sure. Management is useless. Complaints don't get fixed. Stuff just stays broke. Feels like they just don't care or don't wanna deal with it. The place itself is falling apart. Hot water goes out. Appliances don't work right. Washers don't get hot. Dryers don't dry. You put in maintenance and nothing happens or it takes forever. All around it's just a dump and stressfull to live in. Maybe some people got no choice but if you got options, I'd look somewhere else. Just my opinion from what I seen. No hot water, they shot it off and turn water pressure down so u can't take a bath or nothin.

My mother moved here a while back. We knew it had a bad rep in town but she was desperate. She'd…read moreowned a mobile home in town and the lot rent kept going up along with everything else and Mom's tiny check just didn't cover her bills. So, we looked around and applied to just about every low income/HUD apartment in town. We'd heard it took years to get in an apartment and honestly I thought she was going to have to go into a nursing home even though she didn't really need to. Well, we applied here and she got in fast. We saw the filthy wallpaper and the yellow dimly lit halls and the apartments complete with shag carpets and perma-smell of cigarette smoke. The airhead manager/secretary assured us no one smoked indoors. Hell's bells at night on that second floor every apartment except mother is smoking. They won't fix anything and she got some crazy memo saying they aren't aloud to use their garbage disposal on the kitchen sink because they might get clogged. They do absolutely nothing but smoke there that includes the secretary and janitor. She is so sick of the place and she is not close to her year. She said she break her lease if something else comes up. I went to school with the owner Johnny Moore I'd think he'd be ashamed of the horrible conditions they have these people living in. So grimy and the damned lighting they have in the hall its like a horror movie. Nothing nice for those people. They do pay a portion of the rent and other places have some basic activities besides pot smoking getting drunk in the hallways and smoking cigarettes in your room. What took the cake is mom had a couple bulbs burn out and they told her SHE HAD TO PAY 18 DOLLARS TO GET A BULB REPLACED IN THE APARTMENTS LIGHT FIXTURES.! I could see if it was in her personal lamp but this is a kitchen light. She cannot afford it so it remains out and she has to work by the light over her stove. This is financed by the government it is illegal to make these already poor, feeble people pay 18 dollars for the janitor to put a bulb in! I'd bother to turn them in but nothing would happen with that ghetto. I guess it's better than the streets but not by much. You are lied to the whole way through and the rumors are true.

The property manager here is awful. She is always rude, raises her voice to tenants for no reason,…read moreand just doesn't care at all. Never in office, always sending out nasty emails warning that there will be outrageous charges for every other thing. She routinely tries to have cars towed from parking spaces that tenants are guaranteed in their leases because she "hasn't seen them move" and then tries to blame everything on maintenance when questioned. She makes everything absurdly difficult when it really shouldn't be. Going to get a package that's been dropped off at the office? Too bad, no one's in. Finally catch her heading to her car before the posted closing hours on the office? Too bad, come back tomorrow, she's going home and won't be getting that for you. I honestly do not understand how the company sees fit to continue employing her, and has seen fit to do so for so many years now. She is downright nasty and has been for years as can be seen from past reviews and current ones. There is no understanding here, no compassion, no kindness. If you complain to her, you are the problem. She will start doing anything that she can to force you out: locking your payment account for rent and forcing you to go to nearby stores and pay in cash with numerous fees, sudden random inspections of your apartment that she says are "routine" or that are supposedly for pests that you do not have, putting notes on your car that it's going to be towed in less than 24 hours if it isn't moved with no other warning. She is accountable for nothing and seems to be actively trying to make the lives of everyone who lives here just as miserable as her own. There would be a hundred more bad reviews if people weren't afraid that leaving them would cause her to retaliate and get them kicked out of their homes. Our thousands of dollars per month in rent never go toward anything helpful or nice. Not a single improvement has been made in the almost 10 years that I've lived here. One year everyone was asked to dig up any personal flowers that they had planted because the improvement was to be "landscaping". They planted things that immediately died and then sent out emails requesting that the tenants water the dying and unwanted plants. The trash compactor breaks down every few months and tenants are told that they will be fined if they bring trash to it, but will also be fined if they sit their trash out on their balconies or patios. Effectively, everyone is told to keep their trash piling up in their tiny apartment because management cannot find a lasting solution to a constant problem. The parking lot is never shoveled, plowed, or salted when it snows in the winter. Everyone is left to fend for themselves and just figure it out. This place is a nightmare. The woman that they allow to run it isn't fit to do so.
