It's incredibly reassuring to know that the staff is so dedicated to childcare. When our oldest had been there for about 6 months, a spot opened up for us to move here to one of the military Child Development Centers. We declined the spot and stayed with Kindercare because we are so happy with the care provided.

My son came home with a diaper rash almost every day while attending this center. Despite using the same diapers, wipes, and products at home without any issues, staff repeatedly suggested that he was suddenly allergic to them or to foods he was eating at daycare--even though he eats the same foods at home without any reaction. Instead of addressing the recurring issue, it often felt like excuses were being made rather than taking responsibility. Cleanliness was another major concern. The classrooms, particularly the infant and toddler rooms, did not appear to be maintained to the standard I expected. The rugs where children crawl, play, and lie down often appeared dirty. Although there is supposed to be a no-shoes policy in these rooms, I frequently observed adults walking through with their shoes on in the same areas where the children spend most of their time. The professionalism of the staff was also disappointing. Several employees came across as rude or dismissive when concerns were raised. It was discouraging to feel that legitimate issues were not taken seriously. I also learned that staffing shortages seemed to prevent management from addressing ongoing concerns, which only added to my frustration. Perhaps the most concerning comment I heard was from staff members who said they would not enroll their own children at this center. Hearing that from employees themselves raised serious concerns about the confidence they had in the care being provided. This daycare has the potential to be a great center, but in my experience, significant improvements are needed in cleanliness, professionalism, communication, and the quality of care provided to infants and toddlers. Unfortunately, my family's experience was not a positive one, and I would not choose to bring my child back nor recommend it to other families.

They are understanding and patient and use differentiated instruction to each child. There is diversity among students that is unusual to see. Parents across cultures seem to really be attracted to the Montessori approach. MCH recently come under new ownership and we are equally pleased with Kathy's new ideas, implementation of STEM curriculum, as well as continuing to make MCH a place where I feel my children are nurtured, cared for, educated and challenged. I recently read a short, negative review and, while I have no idea what the situation was, I have always felt like my concerns were fairly and appropriately addressed. I wish for everyone's sake that if you have an issue with any school or teacher that you'd attempt to address it with them instead of posting vague negative reviews. My wife and I decided to place our daughter in Goddard. Why? Because we're smart [I think so]. There are many things to share about Goddard. The education was/is great, but there were little extra things that brought my wife and I mental comfort. Leaving your kid(s) with other people....at a place, can be weird. Not at Goddard. No odd smells, sticky surfaces, odd interactions with staff; education, order, structure, and fun was in the air. There's nothing but positives, but a few items of personal interest pop out in my mind. Communication. We were always consulted in advance of our child's progress through written documentation and daily reports via the Tadpoles App. I didn't really know the power of the application, but it was comforting and very informative. As parents, of course, we all wonder what happens to our kid(s) when they're not in our presence - normal. What the Tadpoles App did, was to allow parents to check the status of drop-off/pick-up times, daily activities, see pics, see videos, get notes from teachers, reminders, and much more. The impressive thing, the teachers were fantastic at keeping [us] parents informed using technology - EVERY DAY. Keep in mind, the use of this application wasn't the only thing Goddard did extremely well at. At The Goddard School, there is obviously a focus on learning, but the school as a whole has a very wide range of activities throughout the year. YOU will see and be IMPRESSED! Teachers and parents [us] were in constant communication no matter the circumstance. If my child did well or needed more improvement at home in an area of weakness, I was happy to employ and reinforce practices that helped the teachers during their day with our child. Likewise, I appreciated the attention that was given to our child. I have not a word of negativity to speak; I couldn't imagine it. Side-note. After spending half my life in the military, I've learned a few things about: - attention to detail - communication - cleanliness - training & education - safety - teamwork - security - good times! But, unless you are stuck between a rock and a hard place for childcare, I would not recommend sending your children here.

I love Rainbow Station! I don't know that I can express myself well enough in words to explain how…read moregrateful I am that my son is now at Rainbow Station and not at his previous school anymore (see my review on the other pre-school for more information). Rainbow Station has been everything that a pre-school should be and my son has done nothing but flourished. His teachers Patty and Mallory are amazing! Anthony loves them both and will tell me that he wants one of them by saying, "Mommy I want Patty or Mommy I want Mama (as he calls Mallory)". The front desk ladies are so warm and genuinely happy to see us every day, Anthony blows them a kiss as we leave and waives bye. The Director, Ms. Jada is awesome and always available to answer any questions. She is silly and fun too, which I personally love because I like to be silly and prefer a happy environment as opposed to a stale and sterile environment. Ms. Hazel the owner is gracious and kind. Ms. Joyce always knows everyone's names and is always ready to snap a picture at one of our family events. The school even has a babysitting list that has the teachers that are willing to babysit beyond school hours, which has been such a blessing and made me feel better when I have to leave him for work events, because I know that he is in great hands! The curriculum is amazing and my son, who is newly two, has been speaking in full sentences and able to communicate effectively with me (as long as it is not right before nap or bed time). Since my son has been at Rainbow Station he has not had one single negative incident report! Which goes to show that Rainbow Station knows how to care for kids of all kinds and does not lay blame on a child like their counterparts in the industry. Instead they seek to understand and find a solution if need be. And did I mention that they have a ratio of 1 to 6 instead which is better then the required 1 to 8 that their competitors maintain. My son is happy when I go to pick him up every day and does not want to leave he is having so much fun. I know what he is doing each day and I would be able to tell even if they did not write it out in detail because Anthony shows me each night what they learned. I.E. When they were studying bugs, he went around the house and pointed out to me all of the things that looked like bugs. He may have also grabbed a spider and tried to give it to me, which of course was hysterical and not so at the same time! :-) I believe he did the same thing to his teacher while they were outside (I'm sorry Ms. Mallory my son has no fear). From the very beginning, the staff has been exceptionally kind, professional, responsive, and supportive. Every interaction has been handled with warmth, grace, and genuine care--not just for my child, but for our entire family. They consistently went above and beyond, whether answering questions, accommodating requests, or simply making us feel valued. It is rare to find a team that is both so organized and so compassionate. Most importantly, the impact this school has had on my child has been remarkable. She wakes up excited to go to school each day, and that alone speaks volumes about the loving environment her teachers have created. During her time at Childtime, she learned to recognize all of her letters, count to 100, identify her colors, recite the days of the week and months of the year, write and recognize her name, and she's even beginning to read and tell time.
